I love this place.  We go to Plymouth just to go here.
Usually cramped, usually have to wait - I like to go in the summer because we can sit outside.
Coffee = awesome (I'm hard to please)
Menu is varied and tasty.  I'm a savory breakfast person, so I haven't tried the waffles or crepes or anything, but I (and anyone else I've brought here) have loved everything we've tried.

Good but tiny.  The board makes you invited to order and dig in, but it is so packed, you wait for good, not great food.

    Mediocre at best.

Omelet & Waffle Cafe is simple and delicious with simple being the operative word here. From the name of the restaurant that straight away tells you what you should order, to the design of the place that doesn't try too hard; everything about this restaurant is about simplicity, and It works, oh does it work so well.

Omelet & Waffle Cafe takes classic diner breakfast foods and doesn't try to do anything fancy, instead they simply just make them the right way. The eggs in the omelet feel so decadent and full of life. They are fluffy in a way that makes a three egg omelet look and feel like so much more. The vegetables folded into the dish are cooked perfectly, and the cheese is melted to a brilliant velvety consistency that compliments and doesn't overwhelm the rest of the food.

The waffles are fresh with a crispy outer shell and a soft core. They let the fruit and the syrup you add do the sweetening, and what you end up with is a perfectly prepared waffle that you can adjust to your preferred sweetness.

Do I wish all breakfast places mimic this perfect simplicity? Probably not. Sometimes you crave that new age take on a classic. But a place like Omelet & Waffle Cafe is necessary to persevere the essence of these timeless foods.

When you walk in, place your order, pay, and grab a number for your table (if there isn't a wait, which is rare since the place is small & popular). The menu has unique & plentiful offerings, tons of toppings for sweet items or ingredients to put in a savory omelette. The variety along with flavor make this place great, in my opinion, & they are very efficient. You can't go wrong with what you order.

I take guests here often, but when I last went with my mom, she was underwhelmed. Her breakfast sandwich only had one piece of bacon on it (wish I had snapped a pic!). We also both agree that the orange juice isn't great. I can see why people like it- it's fresh squeezed instead of the carton you already have in your fridge! But to me, that just means it's too warm, pulpy, & dense. Sorry to be negative, I know people feel strongly about that juice :P :)

A treat for gluten-free eaters! My boyfriend and I enjoy coming here when we are craving pancakes. They have multiple choices - plain, pecans, walnuts, chocolate chips, blueberries, strawberries, or bananas. We've tried the pancakes with blueberries and bananas (banana one pictured below). We prefer the blueberries because they actually incorporate the berries into the batter instead of just placing them on top, which is how they served the banana pancakes.

They are usually busy with a line going out the door and wrapping around the building (especially in the warmer months), so make sure to go early! I'm not sure if they take reservations. However, considering the amount of people they serve, the food doesn't take an extremely long time to arrive.

The one criticism I have is that they use a LOT of butter. I can taste it in literally everything - from the eggs, hash browns, pancakes, everything. So it's definitely not a place to go if you're wanting something light and healthy.

Not really sure why this place has such good reviews. It was just okay. My fiancé and I came in on a Saturday around 1:00. Luckily as soon as we placed our order a table opened up so we didn't have to wait long. After about 10 minutes our food arrived. My fiancé got his food first and I had to wait for mine. We had to ask for silverware and napkins. My corned beef omelette was just meh. The texture of the meat was a little off-putting. The hash browns and wheat toast were pretty good though. My fiancé had a waffle and it was pretty tasty. I probably should have gotten that. His orange juice was just plain nasty. Warm, thick and too much pulp. Glad I ordered water. The prices are reasonable but this isn't someplace I'm dying to go back to. I've had better breakfast at ihop. *shrugs*

This a very cozy and friendly neighborhood breakfast place!

The service is very efficient, and you can count on your coffee to be refilled before it comes close to empty!

As you would expect from the restaurant name, there's a large selection of omelettes and waffles. They offer the standard ones (western, farmer's, california, etc.) and some fun ones like the chili omelette! The ingredients are high quality. Portions are more than enough, and the price is very fair ($6ish for most omelettes).

I just found the food to be a little greasier than needed. Otherwise, this place is spot on!

When we went to this omlette & waffle cafe it was very very full and crowded . There wasn't any space and it was claustrophobic! They're menu is written in chalk on a big chalkboard on the wall! That didn't bother me much , but the fact that there were no seats at all, the wait was an hour at least and the outdoors was full of bees!!
So we waited and we did get to use my Yelp 10% off discount! That was nice that they honored the little discount because any discount is a good one!
The food was above average but it wasn't as hot as I usually like my eggs to be! I realize  that eggs get cold quickly, so I'm just guessing that possibly my plate sat for awhile before arriving at our indoor table .
My husband had the omelette with avocado in it and such? It was the "California omelette"! He doesn't mind "normal temp" eggs!lol...He enjoyed his meal!
Mostly it was not anything super special as far as the food. There's no atmosphere whatsoever except crowded and cluttered! The service was good and the coffee was pretty good! I'd really like to sit outside and try again! Once the weathers nice again we will go back and give it another shot! I'd like to add that the manager was kind as was our server!

Came here for the second time for my birthday breakfast. I love crepes and there aren't many places around where you can get one, so I got the mixed berry crepes and they were delicious! You get 3 crepes, so it's definitely a bang for your buck. This place is always hopping. My husband got a banana nut stuffed waffle and said it was delicious. Even though it was busy our food came out in a timely manner.

Great place for breakfast! Small and the wait can be a little long but really good place and great food. Pancakes were a little well done to my liking but still were good. Try it you won't be disappointed.

Being a fan of omelettes, when I discovered the Omelette & Waffle Cafe in downtown Plymouth, I made a B-line early on a Sunday morning to this western suburb of the "D" to check it out.

I arrived early and was glad I did as a line started to form at the door by 8:15 am. After placing my order at the counter I grabbed a table and watched a well disciplined kitchen at work. I was surprised to see them utilizing a retro milkshake blender to mix up the fresh eggs for the omelettes.

I was intrigued by and ordered one of the daily specials hand-written on the board - the Reuben Omelette. It was filled with corned beef, Swiss cheese and topped with sauerkraut with a side of thousand island dressing.  It was cooked soft, just as I had requested and was served with home fries and Sour Dough toast...very tasty and enjoyable.

As I watched the orders coming out of the kitchen, I also noticed some great looking waffle and pancake plates generously loaded with a nice selection of fresh fruit and whipped cream...maybe on my next visit.

The Omelette & Waffle Cafe is a very popular local eatery for good reason...it serves up a very good breakfast with courteous service in pleasant digs. The composite of nearly 100 Yelp reviews got it right...4.5 stars.

    Visited twice

We have tried the rueben omlette, berry stuffed waffle, megatron, corned beef hash omlette.

All were great. The eggs really are fluffy! Waffle melted in mouth - totally appropriate. I always want more veggies....could use more veggies!

    A new favorite breakfast place!

    The end.

I never knew fluffy eggs until I came here. I ordered a special which was on their menu. The eggs were literally perfectly made and had the perfect melted swiss cheese. That swiss cheese was heaven. The hash had mushrooms, onions and asparagus to say the least. Mighty tasty. I appreciated my toast being buttered up as well. Honestly, a perfect breakfast. Highly recommend this place!

We came on a Saturday morning for brunch and the line to order was out the door! I like the system - you order first and pay, and then you wait to be seated. We waited around 15 minutes for a table and luckily the weather was fantastic so we enjoyed our wait outside. I ordered the Polish Omelette, my friends ordered the berry stuffed waffles and a Farmer's Omelette. The prices were surprisingly low for being a place in Plymouth but the portion size was pretty comparable to what you paid. The food was pretty standard diner food. The omelettes came with toast and hash browns. Service was quick and they pretty much left you alone after you get your food and drinks. I would not recommend coming here with a large party as the seating area is quite limited.

Finally made it in for breakfast and we loved it!  Megan was our server and took GREAT care of us. Breakfast burrito and farmer's omelette were both delicious. Coffee was smooth and freshly squeezed OJ was fantastic. Highly recommend this little hole in the wall. Local art all over the walls too. Too cool!

Ive been here a few times and will visit again when in the area.
Everything is consistent.  They have a special usually, pumpkin pancakes in the fall or an omelette. Fresh squeezed Oj, you can all the food get cooked fresh. Nice staff.

Even though we arrived near closing time the place was packed.  I ordered a sandwich and my wife ordered breakfast.  They were both really good - although next time I would probably just stick with the breakfast items because everything that folks were eating around us looked really yummy.

The folks taking the orders at the front were very friendly and helpful and made good suggestions of breakfast items she might like to order.  The food arrived quickly and was prepared perfectly.  The place is small so be prepared to wait if you arrive at the busier times.  There are a few tables outside, but these get snapped up quickly.  Overall I would highly recommend this place as we had a good meal at a good price and you could tell that the folks working there really enjoyed what they were doing.  Great vibe!

From out of town and was looking for a good, hearty breakfast. Got to the place and the line was out the door. The whole order before you sit is outrageously confusing and frustrating. They don't tell the wait time to sit or anything so we opted to take our food to go. We saw people come and go for the sit down service while we waited for 2 breakfast sandwiches for over 40 minutes. Finally ate our food and the sandwiches were bland with little effort put into it. I had just a sprinkle of cheese and a blackened egged from not cleaning the grill. Hash was decent but had no crisp to it. $15 to be frustrated and eat something I could of had made better at McDonald's.

Let's see if South Park is correct and if they remove my post.

Figure out your seating and make your take out orders priority.
