This is pretty great considering the modest price.  I don't believe this is a BW any longer.  The retrofit looks pretty great - you can still tell by the structure that it was an economy hotel but they've done a great job fixing the place up.
The rooms are generous and comfortable.  The view of the golf course off the back is quite good.  The location is central and a great spot to stay if you're going into the park.
I would definitely stay here again.

I'm so glad I booked this hotel during our visit to Port Angeles. We were here for the Dungeness & Seafood Festival and all the nearby hotels/motels were overpriced and a dump. We had a Standard King room on the 3rd floor looking out to the golf course. The $7.50 breakfast was decent, hotel staff was pleasant and the overall stay was enjoyable. This is the place to stay while in Port Angeles.

Nice clean room with comfortable beds.  Exercise room was nice and big with good cardio equipment.  Although you had to pay for the breakfast, it was good.

My boyfriend and I wanted to spend a few days in the Olympic Peninsula, and weren't sure where to stay. I happened to talk to his mom a few days before we were scheduled to head up, and she suggested the Best Western Olympic Lodge as she had fond memories of it from a previous trip -- although it had been many years since then. We looked it up online, fell in love with the location, and booked it.

When we arrived, we found the hotel to be located next to another hotel and near several restaurants. The front lobby was beautiful, with vaulted ceilings and windows that reminded me of something one might see in Vale or Aspen. Part of the hotel was being renovated, which contributed to a peculiar smell -- but the public areas were, in general, quite lovely.

Our room was located on the second floor and overlooked the golf course. I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't see the mountain from that vantage point, but the gorgeous view of the verdant golf course juxtaposed against the bright blue sky made up for the loss of the mountain range.

The room was large, extremely clean and nicely furnished, with a beautifully decorated bathroom. Free wireless Internet was great, as we were able to use our laptop to make plans for what to do and where to eat, and -- best of all -- friends and family got new photos to look at on a daily basis.

Breakfast was awesome! For $5 a piece (not bad, all things considered), an all-you-can-eat buffet was offered, which included eggs, sausages, bacon, home fries, muffins, bagels, biscuits, fruit, various cereals, juices, coffee, tea and -- best of all -- two make-your-own-waffle contraptions (plus fruit toppings)! It was more than worth the small amount of extra cash, and was every bit as good -- if not better -- than the breakfast buffets offered at most major restaurant chains.

Our trip was during the off-season, so it was generally very quiet. The staff was quite friendly and helpful, and our experience as a whole was wonderful. We will definitely stay here again the next time we're in the area.

I was on a family snowboarding trip to Hurricane Ridge and decided to look up lodges on Yelp. I saw some good reviews and decided to put in a reservation for Best Western.

My experience with this lodge ended on a positive note. Very clean and quiet, Best Western stands out from the competition. The room we were in was large and had two queen size beds with a t.v, microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker. No musty scent upon entering however our bathroom fan was not working. While the lobby was in renovation, the staff was able to maintain cleanliness during the winter season.

And if your going to Hurricane Ridge Ski Park, make sure to check out the road conditions before committing to any lodge.

Overall Cleanliness: 5/5
Pool and Jacuzzi: Heated / Outdoor
Service: 5/5
Rate: $119.99

Definitely a cut above the average BW - and I am a BW fan, usually.

Recently renovated, our room was huge and beautiful  The location was very convenient to the Hurricane Ridge area of Olympic National Park, and to the ferry to Vancouver.

Breakfast was $7 - a buffet that was pretty good.

My boyfriend and I spent a weekend here and although the room was clean and neat, the jacuzzi and swimming pool was not available due to maintenance. boo...The breakfast for $5 was pretty nice; who can deny strawberry waffles every morning plus eggs, sausage links and potatoes?  the room had a coffee maker, and refrigerator which we used but there wasn't laundry service which was too bad...the people their were quite nice so we didn't have much to complain about the service.  I give this 3 stars
