Old Navy is Disposable Clothing, The Gap's low-end merch. The dis-interested, underpaid staff has a n "I'm too busy stocking to talk to you" vibe here - but all in all you can still get mass-produced, el-cheapo clothing here.
I very rarely get anything for myself at ON - the snooty law firm folks I work with could sniff that out in a minute. Instead, I lavish my pre-schooler with $5.00 sneakers and 2 for ten jammy sets. Oh and socks - love the cheap socks.
I occasionally run to Old Navy to grab el-cheapo tanks or flipflops. Recently I saw they had a clearance but the first shirt I grabbed off the rack had stains all over and smelled of... EW I can't even say it. Avoid.
