I'm feeling a little pregnancy lightheadedness this afternoon. So I'm trying to take it easy. (Taking it easy for me is writing a review.) Well, I'm in maternity clothes now. And boy is it hard to find nice maternity wear! Hello! I'm just big in the belly, I'm not fat! I don't need to wear a tent!

So, I've been struggling to find "fitted" maternity wear. Old Navy has nice tanks and tees that are fitted, however, this store has the tiniest selection! I was very disappointed. But it did give me an idea of my size and what fit me, so I ordered a bunch of stuff online.

My advice, try on their basics, know your size, then order from Old Navy's vast online selection! Plus, they always offer some sort of deal online, I got free shipping! Saved 7 bucks. Tha's 7 more bucks into baby's college fund!

Came here to find casual and inexpensive maternity basics and found nothing. Their selection was sooo small, you couldn't even call it a maternity section. This store is huge, being that it's the Old Navy Flagship store...I wish they dedicated a larger selection for a pregnant woman's wardrobe! Gap is a little better but not by much.

Considering this is the ON Flagship store and is 3 stories high, the maternity section is tiny.

Selection is limited and a lot of basic sizes were completely out.

I ended up with some jeans and a shirt out of sheer desperation and boredom with what I already own... but the trip was a disappointment.

The only reason this gets 2 stars instead of 1 (see my review of Gap maternity) is that you have to shop somewhere for maternity workout wear that is not going to break your budget.

You get what you pay for -- which is disposable clothes, basically.  Quality matches the price, which is pretty damn low.  But sometimes you have to pick your battles, grasshopper.

went to the one in Rocklin during Christmas. Got two great comfy sweaters that have saved me. They look nice and are comfortable.
Went to market street location for jeans.  They didn't even have enough sizes.  At the very least they should stock all the sizes for their jeans.
The department was tiny. The selection minimal.  And the cuts looked like you have to be gigantic to wear them. If you're petite, the cuts are not flattering. Like big square clothes.
I'm sure it's hit and miss so I'm going to go back again to see what they have.  Because price point wise and considering how little you wear these clothes, it's a good deal for staples like workout pants, tees, etc. . . .

You know what I loved most about this place? The prices. I don't want to keep harping on the "Too expensive! Pricey!" thing but it's a real factor. You're only wearing these clothes for 3-4 months max. (Don't even get me started on the women who still wear these clothes months AFTER they've had the kid. I don't judge. I'm just sayin' they shouldn't be.) This is what Mimi Maternity was trying to be, I think. Cute, stylish and cheap. Old Navy hit the mark on it. It's not the best quality out there but it does the job.

I was never a fan of their pants. The fit wasn't to my liking (surprising since I figured they might be using the same fit model as the Gap). But the jackets and shirts were great! I really liked their tank tops as well. They made great layering pieces under other shirts so that my belly wasn't all hanging out and freaking people out.

*note: I am not currently pregnant nor am I anticipating to be so anytime soon! (Yes, I am talking to you, Ed W.!!)
