As soon as we got there, we were greeted by their dog Sydney. The hosts, Stewart and Lory, are very nice and give a lot of recommendations of where to eat in the area.

I'm not sure which room we got to stay in, but it looked out into their huge backyard. The room was nice, but smelled a bit musty and felt a little damp. The room got a little stuffy, but they have a big fan over the bed.

Lory makes an amazing breakfast. She serves amazing fresh fruit, fruit smoothies and boiled eggs. She also bakes sweet potato muffins, banana bread and muffins. You are definitely well-fed in the morning.

We had a lovely stay on our first and last night in Hilo. Absolutely gorgeous house, quiet, lush trees and bushes in the gardens and amazing breakfast!

Lory and Stewart Hunter, husband and wife are both friendly, great hosts and just absolutely accomodating. We got to stay in two different rooms, Sunrise and Hawaiian room and they were both lovely, quiet, comfortable and water pressure was great! (Yes, water pressure is important!) :)

Lory cooks breakfast every morning, fresh baked banana and chocolate macadamia muffins, fresh plate of fruits and boiled eggs with aromatic Kona coffee!
Their pet dog, Sydney is a shy but very adorable dog....

Great location, walking distance to Boiling Pots Park and 1 mile to the infamous Rainbow Falls! Definitely recommended when u are in Hilo.
