Oktoberfest, another reason to get wasted.  Being a fresh young meat in the market, Oktoberfest was a great experience.  With women of all ages dressed in dirndls and men as well in lederhosens, they show an amount of dedication and effort put into this event.

There are tents up for people selling things that fit the occasion: beer mugs, dirndls and lederhosens, etc.

With a live band, this sure was a live event.  They also had an alpenhorn contest, which had contestants staring down at a horn that's about 18 ft. long.  They also performed beer chants where everyone would raise a glass and chant famous German sayings.

Everyone that was everyone, drinking great beer and smashing.  It's not everyday you see a 40 year old women puking in a trash can...twice.

Parking wasn't much of a hassle.  Food was great and so where beers.  I prefer the Beck's Ocktoberfest.

They'll be here next week as well Oct. 10 - 12.  It's a small lot, but tons of fun!
