7 reviews for Okea Grill & Sushi
My husband and I are going to try and not spend all of our money here, but it might be hard. They have tons of vegetarian sushi, and it is so good!
We went to OKEA the other night, and my husband got the vegetarian platter-type special. For $8.95 he got salad, soup, and a TON of sushi.
They had on classic rock, which was awesome.
This is the second time I've been here and both times have been fantastic.
Love it!
I got a little excited when I wrote my first review - but have to say that upon our second delivery order, the delivery was no where near as prompt. We ordered at 7:00 PM and didn't get our order until 8:45 PM. (we had to call 3 times asking where it was.)
Could have been a flop night - but still rather obnoxious. They told us 30 minutes. If you're going to be late - call and let us know.

Can you go wrong with delivery sushi? Well.. probably, yes - but not here! Okea is by far the best… Read more »
I have ordered delivery, ordered take-out, and ate inside. Each time, the food was fresh and delicious. This has been my first sushi experience, and I did like the sushi. I have also had the chicken teriyaki with noodles, tempura, and gyoza, all of which were also good. I love that they deliver. Staff is friendly. Note: They will closed on Sundays soon, but not sure when this starts.
The sushi was good and blocks away from where I live (can't beat that). I would definitely recommend Okea for a sushi fix.
So I had been to Okea once to check it out and found it fabulous. I went to a networking event with the Salem Chamber and was happy to see that Okea had donated a gift certificate. "Oh I hope I win that one." I prayed. And guess what. I won it. Yeah baby. More sushi from Okea, and it was great again. I own the yoga studio nearby (Green Tea) and now will send all my yoga hippies in search of sushi right on over to Okea.
Had dinner there last night. There food on the menu was cheap and the service was pretty good, too bad they didn't serve alcohol.
Ordered una don, it comes with a soup, but the waitress forgot it, had to ask for it. The eel was a little overdone, had a few burnt bites.
and a crazy maki...delish! shrimp tempura with spicy mayo!
Was too full to order the fried ice cream.
my friend had the tempura for an appetizer and the new caterpillar roll, he thought it was yummy...there was a promotion going on where you order any appetizer with a roll from the chef's special for $12.99...she told him about the discount when she handed the bill to us...yay for savings!! thumbs up! he was a happy camper!!
Had lunch there today. This place had fresh fish. The salmon just melted like butter. The caterpillar roll was perfect. The sauce wasn't too sweet like other places. This is so far the best sushi place in Mass. I lived in Honolulu for the past 7 years and ate sushi every week there. So I am super critical of how the sushi is here. You have to enjoy Okea. It's so worth it. The price is great. Enjoy!
