If you're looking for a dog trainer, stop your search, you've found the best! She came highly recommended from another trainer who was too busy, and boy am I glad! We did about 5 sessions over the course of a couple of months, and have had great progress right from the start working on leash reactivity with our scaredy-dog. She communicates very well both in person and in writing, and takes the time to explain the why and how, not just tell you what to do. Her methods are completely positive and reward based, and very effective. She worked with our schedule, even doing sessions on Saturdays. I was especially touched by her concern and the time she put in to checking in via email, and preparing the homework and reports on our sessions. I could tell from the start she really cares about her clients, both canine and human. Absolutely, unequivocally recommended!!!
Lisa is an amazing dog trainer. I got to watch her in action and work with her when we attended the Academy for Dog Trainers. Now I often consult with her about behavior cases. She has an impeccable work ethic and is completely committed to the well-being of her clients and their dogs. Lisa is the owner/trainer of Oh Behave! An experienced dog trainer & behavioral consultant, she graduated with Honors from the SF SPCA's Academy for Dog Trainers and has worked as a shelter dog trainer at Bay Area shelters. She loves working with dogs of all sizes, breeds and ages, and has a soft spot for rowdy adolescents and puppies.
