This place is great!  Bring your tent, sleeping bag, duraflame, charcoal, and food, and get ready to camp under the stars.  Located just 20 minutes north of Santa Barbara, it's the perfect place when you just need to get away from it all.

I actually decided to stay here because it's cheaper than staying at a hotel and I've been wanting to go camping for awhile now.  They have wifi so I can actually get a lot of work done.  More work than if I stayed home, definitely!   I brought 10 books with me (speed reader?), 2 laptops, 2 sets of laptop batteries, and a portable battery outlet.

My goal is to finish curricula for 2 classes, read the above mentioned books, design a book cover, put together a presentation, and work on my scheduling for the next few months, all while secluded in the hills overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

It will be a very effective weekend under the stars.

Ohh!!!  and... they have wifi!!!!!

I am not a big camper type of person, but if I could stay here all the time, I would be a camper for life! This place is very nice. Nice views, friendly staff. We stayed in the RV part of the resort. I thought the sites per RV were a tad small. Our neighbors had small, loud, crying children and we could hear them at all times, so that was a bummer. If you run out of something, or forget something, they have 2 stores where you can pretty much get whatever you need. It's sorta $$$, so try not to forget anything. The have a tiny little dog area where your dog can walk around leash free. The banos and showers were pretty nice also. Private shower so you won't be bothered by anyone, and outlets so you can blow dry your hair if you must. Overall this place is a very good choice. If we ever decide to visit SB again, I am sure we will be staying here.
