I love this little course!
I pretty much learned how to play on this course and one thing that is very nice about it - the course is forgiving without being super easy. Its pretty long and straight, but that really allows you to strech the legs of your long clubs.
Beautiful views of the mountains help for sure!! Fun course..... -

I have never lost so many golf balls in my life. The bushes, ditches, and weird water traps were so annoying, but I guess that's what makes golf challenging!
This place literally stinks -- like bird poo/ducks.
However, for $18 you get to play a challenging 9-hole course with a free replay (so basically $18 for an "18-hole" course). The carts were only $8 as well. We came on a Monday afternoon, btw.
It isn't the most beautiful course (the fairway and greens were pretty torn up--I blame it on the squirrels, haha), but it gets the job done. -

I golfed here about two years ago and I had a somewhat pleasant experience. The golf course itself was sub-par (pun intended :)) and had a simple 9 hole course. What I really liked were the burgers served in the little cafe near the front.
I give 3 stars for the golf course but 5 stars for that burger. -

Living close by in University Village, Ocean Meadows was a frequent desitination point in junior high and high school in and around midnight. There were only a few fences seperating teenagers from expanses of well groomed space, sprinklers, and approximate beach access.
In daylight hours, walking home from the bus stop, we could bother the cooks in the cafe off the pro shop. It's cool if five 15 year olds order one basket of fries yeah? Thanks.
I still love you beach golf course, you made high school that much more tolerable. -

Kinda of an 'eh' course. Nothing special about it, but nice to have a regulation 9 hole course to quickly warm up in or practice on. It was pretty wet, but I played early morning. Probably a spot of cheap locals to play, nothing to drive out for. Fairways are either thin/bare in spots and lush in others. No consistency. Greens are slow. Rough is terrible. Won't be here again.
