No wait, easy to get to from the shore, good prices, automatic kid bumpers and clean shoes - what more can you ask for? Oh yeah, good food and a nice bar but I guess we were there to bowl and not eat and hang out :)
I went there yesterday with my whole family (9 of us) as it was raining at the shore and we had a fantastic time. My two Nieces had a blast bowling for the first time and it was so convenient to have the automatic bumpers (they come up when the flagged bowler's name comes up). The shoes were all nice and new and clean and there were plenty of bowling balls to choose from. My only complaint was that the computerized score machine at one of our lanes wasn't working properly - it kept either skipping a turn or not counting a turn for a couple of the players. Perhaps it was just that one lane (16 if you want to avoid it). I'll definitely be going back next time I'm at the jersey shore and it's raining.
Considering the lanes are right down the street from my parents house and I am a avid bowler - - it is the best place I can go to have some fun in two minutes time.
