It's not a resort, it's a motel, but it's a motel that's run well with an attentive owner and staff.
For $70 night (late July) I got:
-Single queen bed with good pillows and pier one-esque linens
-Small TV with full cable (including HBO)
-Free WiFi (says it's only for the lobby, but it reached my room)
-Clean bathroom with full tub/shower
-Continental brekkie that included bagels, cereal, coffee
-Very convenient parking and right in the middle of the district
-Less than 100 yards to to the beach.
-Heated indoor pool
In my ideal world my room would be slightly bigger and the half fridge wouldn't be right by my head -- I just unplugged it. But for $70 a night in the high season it was sweet.

I thought this place was great for the price and the location!
We were on a 5 day road trip up the coast and pretty much booked the cheapest rooms the whole way up. My philosophy is you always get what you pay for and this place actually surprised me. It had a pretty good continental breakfast (yogurt, cereal, fruit and bread) the staff was wonderful and it was right on the beach. We always book cheaper hotels since we essentially only use them to sleep and use the shower in the morning then head out for the road trip, so that being said this place is great. If on the other hand you are used to chain hotels like Hiltons/Sheratons etc.. you may not like it, but if you are a person looking for a cool place to stay on a road trip heck yeah, totally stay here. It is seriously a 30 second walk to the sand...can't beat that.

I hate to trash this place but the only good thing about it was the people at the front desk. If you don't mind broken TV hutch (no doors and exposed broken hinges), dirty floors, fixtures that were old enough to be thrown AWAY BY MY PARENTS and a general "yuckiness" then go ahead and check in. on the flip side the room was only $112 so if this is in your price range and you want to be 2 blocks from the beach, then check-on-in.
