Dr. Pam Durgin is top-notch. She is an extensively knowledgable chiropractor who truly cares about her clients health and wellness. I enjoy the clean and relaxing office environment that is conveniently located. She is the only one I would recommend on the Westside!

I have had stomach problems my entire life, suffering for weeks at a time from constant and horrible pain. My problems got in the way of my everyday routine, to the point where I couldn't sleep or even walk down my stairs without tearing up. Doctors at Kaiser kept insisting I had gastritis and acid problems and pumped me with medications and antibiotics, increasing the dosage every time. Blood tests and other exams showed nothing. I had a gut feeling that I was allergic to gluten, or some type of wheat allergy. Again, my doctors kept insisting that my pain would go away with time. When I was 14, I was put on medication given to cancer patients to prevent them from throwing up. I remember my mom crying because she was so upset that her baby girl was going through all of these problems and she couldn't do anything about it. I would miss school, auditions, family functions, and have problems on vacations. To add to all of this, I was on Jenny Craig for 8 months to lose weight, and by the last few months, was getting even more sick. I researched J.C., and found there have been lawsuits and problems with people having to remove their gall bladders in emergency surgery because of how horrible that food is. I was always tired, never feeling 100% myself and have always had some weight problem. To say it in simplest form, I felt toxic inside.
I had heard about colonics and colon hydrotherapy for a few months, and definitely thought it would help me and get rid of all the junk in my body. However, I kept waiting and waiting for that perfect place to pop up. I went on sites like groupon, livingsocial, and so on, but never really had a connection with a place.
One day, on lifebooker, I saw the Oasis Healing Center, and said, "This is where I'm going."
I've already had two colon hydrotherapy sessions with Leah and am going back in tomorrow for another one.
Lead has completely changed my life. Almost immediately into the session, after talking with me and making me comfortable, she said I have a gluten allergy, celiac disease. While feeling a little sad that I might have to deal with this for many years to come, I felt so happy and excited that someone finally figured out what was wrong with me. And I had a feeling that I was allergic to gluten all along! Thank you, Kaiser......
My mom is now a patient of Leah's, and my aunt is going to start going to her (who is a cancer survivor and also pumped full of steroids and medicine). My mom and I are recommending her to everyone we know because she literally is saving my life. Lead shared so much with me about how to help my body the natural way, which I prefer, and she never pushes anything on you. She tells you what you need and the steps to take for recovery.
Last session, Leah found gallstones in my waste. What a scare I had, and again, my suspicions were correct. I think about how in a few months, I could have ended up in the emergency room and being told I'm going to be cut into and have an organ pulled out. I'm 23 years old, way too young to have had these problems my whole life. My first session with her, I started crying from being so done with all of the pain but so happy that I literally am cleaning out my body. I have never felt better or more healthy in my entire life as I have in the past 3 weeks.
Leah is my family's angel, and I thank God and my lucky stars everyday that we have connected. She is so kind, intuitive, and an amazing woman.
Thank you so much Leah.
I haven't been worried about how much the sessions are, which I think are around $100. I have spent so much time and MONEY on doctors, exams, Jenny Craig (which made me more sick), and everything else that I look at this as investments in my body and health. Your health is your wealth, and I will be going to Lead for many years to come. -

QUICK REVIEW:
Great health practitioners who all care deeply about what they do and are very good at what they do. Many modalities and your body WILL thank you for going to them!
LONG REVIEW:
A few years ago, after a few months of intense exercising (and a cheap, HORRIBLE Hollywood thai massage), I visited several doctors both here and on the east coast about a hip problem that had essentially left me hobbled and without much hope for getting better. Three months of diagnosis that led to nothing, the final straw being a blood test that showed nothing wrong, but the doctors suggested I had a congenital disease that would lead to arthritis, led me to take my health into my own hands.
After some research, I found Dr. Pam Durgin (an early Bastyr graduate) and after chatting with her I came in. She read my chart and asked a simple question about where I was experiencing the pain. After telling her, she simply said, "I think I might be able to help you out..." I laid down on her table, where she massaged my neck, took my head in her hands....
CRACK!!!!
Whoa!!!
She made two more adjustments and all of a sudden, I experienced a high and euphoria that she explained to be what should have been my regular blood flow to my brain, which had been restricted by nuttyness in my spine. No joke, I got up and took 2 steps...
No pain.
None. After three months of distress and no hope, I was walking without any pain.
While I live in the Valley, I don't mind making the drive (even through friday afternoon traffic) to the best chiropractor I've ever had the luck to meet. If you're physically hurting and you want to try a chiropractor who cares, really knows what she's doing, and will give you a very fair price, head to Oasis and ask for Dr. Durgin! -

don't know where to begin my nightmare,I was sold a package of massage to this place for 47$ , I called and tried to make an appointment, apprently the package was only offered from one person named Doris.
she gives me 10 days away appointment and warns me almost 5 times that i can't cancel it. I reach this place 15 mins before my appointment time, no one greets me, finally after 30 mins someone asks if i have an appointment ,I show the person the package.
he says I ll have to wait for DORIS, They don't run her scheldule. So I keep waiting for almost another 45 mins, finally owner of this place Pam comes to greet me who was very nice lady, informs me they still can't locate doris.
after another 15 mins the person named DORIS shows up and tells me may be i have wrong date and time. she doesn't communicate with me at all and just takes off saying i can't take care of you right now...what??
pam, the owner offered if i wanted any service from anyone, how could i trust this place??
she offered she would return my $ by mail.
My first and last time in this nightmarish place.
do no buy any package of this place. -

full disclosure: this establishment is owned and operated by a family friend.
I have trouble categorizing this place as a spa since it is really a holistic healing center. They offer a wide variety of services to help you lead a more healthful life. I have gone here many times for massages by Pat who has always left me feeling more centered, relaxed and with a better energy flow. Her goal is more about helping clients understand where their tension comes from and how to alleviate it with exercises you can do on your own time. Her massage is a kick start to wellness. I know this sounds all hippy dippy and what not, and to honest, it probably is...but i dig it. In addition to having great vibes, a one hour massage costs around $50, there is limited parking behind the place and on the street, and it's at a part of Venice Blvd (near Grandview) that is getting more cool businesses and services but isn't totally overrun by hipsters yet. -

I have used a few different Practitioners from here. Very satisfied with all of them. For Accupunture Casey Marie Smith is Awesome, really knows her field , and I would highly recommend her to anyone searching for an accupuncturer. She is also a Herbalist, not only helped me with my knee
issues , but heartburn as well, and no pills!!!!!!!! -

I have had two AMAZING healing sessions with Lynda McCloskey here--truly transformative! She does a blend of cranio-sacral work combined with other bodywork modalities that left me feeling so peaceful and grounded. She begins the session with asking you what you want from the session, which I thought was very helpful. I found myself moved on many levels---physically, emotionally....dare I say, spiritually! Please treat yourself to a session with this talented practitioner---she is so present and so gifted.

I love, love, love Dr. Durgin.
I have been in LA for 6 years, and have gone through 5 different chiropractors. I have many horror stories....everything from doctors making me get down to my underwear for an adjustment (?!@#?@), to doctors always trying to upsell something, to doctors that don't know how to do an adjustment, to doctors who send you a surprise bill several weeks later. I could go on. Dr. Durgin in an angel! She knows what she is doing, and she has such a peaceful, serene quality. I literally don't want to leave when I'm there. So laid back, so nurturing. Perfect. I couldn't give a higher recommendation.
