So, my friends were gettin' married at Drury Lane, right? Who knew that his hotel was literally five steps away from the venue?! Great for stumbling home!
Let me count the other ways of why I love this hotel:
1. HUGE rooms! The pullout couch is a saving grace, too. 4-6 people can comfortably fit in here. The last thing you need before a wedding is to be cramped and crowded. What a nice room! At $120/night, it's well worth it.
2. Amenities galore! Microwave/fridge/sink in the living room area. Great to stock liquor, gatorade and water. (Essentials for a wedding, you see.) The microwave proved to be helpful when I dug into a cup of ramen the morning after. Don't judge.
3. Ample room to get ready. Yeah, 4 girls had to frantically get ready by 8am on a Saturday. Usually, this would normally be pure chaos, but thank god there were lotsa mirrors and space to change! Plus, the hair stylists were able to come in and work some magic, without being too crowded.
4. The staff. We had some jacked up requests, seriously. A wine opener, more towels, glasses, extra body wash, a razor. For the most part, we got everything we asked for. AND, the staff extended our check-out time to 1pm. Ahhh. Props to the Hilton staff!
5. Multiple entrances to the hotel. We had to basically drag our lives from the cars to the room, so thank god we didn't have to go some far ass route to get to the entrance.
Thumbs up, Hilton Suites! My stay definitely exceeded expectations and I would love to stay here again!

I have been to a few nearby weddings packed with enough booze that we all thought it best to rent some rooms. And let me tell you, they did not disappoint!
I like that all the rooms are suites, equipped with a living room area and a separate bedroom, a dinette set and a wet bar area. It is very cozy. The room itself, layout aside, is very nice. The fabrics all look cleaned and very well maintained.
I am a big fan of the glass elevator. At about 2am, a friend of ours passed out on one of the rolling chairs in our suite. We took it upon ourselves to roll him into the hall and to the elevator. We pressed all the buttons and watched as he rode up and down in the elevator, passed out. I am sure anyone else that was up in the large lobby area also enjoyed the show. Ah yes, we were those crazy kids! We also convinced a late-night pizza delivery guy to stop for more beer on the way over. (sigh... aw, the memories of my early twenties)
