We threw a halloween party there on Saturday and it was great!!! From the first time I called to inquire about the space up until the very last minute of all the planning, the owner, Tom was so helpful, so nice and accomodating! As were the rest of the staff throughout the party. The back room of the bar is perfect for a private party, I would highly recommend it! The bar itself is low key, drinks are very reasonably priced, never too crowded (even on Halloween), always a good time. I can't say enough about this place and will definitely be coming back, as will everyone else who attended the party! Thanks, O'Hanlon's for a great time Saturday night!!!!!!!!
O'hanlons is the sort of joint where you go to meet actual New Yorkers. Go there for the good drinks and darts and pool, but beware of the infamous "Jimmy Red." Ask the bartender who he is and then buy him a drink. He'll love you forever and talk your ear off....as long as you aren't a Redsox fan.
