I was an instant fan...well, when I actually made it inside the store.
My first time here it was closed, and it was noon30! I was pissed because I came out of my way and my time is valuable, right?
I've been here more times than I can remember. Any time I have guests from out of town I like to make a quick stop here. I bought most of my Obama whatnots here during the elections.
Full five stars because they have Randi Rhodes plastered behind the cash register. Cool store to browse and the staff is pretty cool. -

This really is a cool store... just like all the glowing reviews suggest.
They have something for just about everyone in here, including what was probably the very last slip 'n' slide available for purchase in the state of Washington. Henry- you enjoy that thing! You and your tie earned it!
Lots of fun, over-the-top, and naughty cards, quirky gifts, toys, political shtuff, t-shirts, Bacon Salt... the usual.
Very nice staff and the store is HUGE btw. You could browse in here for at least an hour and still not make your way through the first room (there's three of them if you're wondering).Listed in: Local Yokel., Cards n' Stuff

If your Subaru station wagon doesn't have enough left-leaning bumper stickers on it then run, don't walk to Not a Number!
Seriously, friendly neighborhood shop that sells a bunch of kitschy garbage that no one needs.Listed in: Wallingford

When is it a good time to be a left-leaning liberal?
When you are in Not a Number Cards and Gifts.
Picked up my "This Vehicle Powered By Iraqi Blood" bumper sticker here, and if I catch you humping around town in a Humvee, I may stick you with it!
Other highlights: great buttons, tees, sweatshirts, other gifts, and even VEGAN shoes.
Cool joint. -

Yay, Yelp finally got the name changed (and now it's correct!) :-). This place is great, I'll serve as yet another echo to the "Better than Archie's" comments. Lots of cool and obscure stuff that I'm sure you'd have a very hard time finding in the Seattle area; and it's all in the same place! They have tons of bumper stickers and "leftist" paraphernalia, but honestly... who likes Bush anyway?
That's not all they are though, they simply have tons of neat little gadgets and the like. If you're looking for a unique/funny/both gift for someone, make sure and check this place out as I'm sure they'll have something that's right up your alley. It's also a good fit for the "Wallingford Vibe" that's been going on for the past few years; they've got some really neat specialty shops in the area, and this place is no exception.
Also props to referencing the TV show "The Prisoner" with their name. Gotta love that.Listed in: Born to Shop

This place carries a lot of the same stuff you can find at Archie McPhee's, but they also have a whole room full of fun political and cause-oriented books and accessories.
Last time I was here, the guy working the cash register said he'd give a young girl 15% off her purchase if she could tell him what that 15% would be. He basically tutored her in math for about 20 minutes, as she had no clue how to calculate the 15%. As I was leaving, I heard him tell her that he'd give her the discount anyway since she tried so hard. Whoever he is, he rocks! -

Great staff
Great stuff
Expanded space to expand inventory
I love taking the kiddies in to play with their table of wind-ups and squishy toys. And who doesn't love bacon mints... Yeah, yeah, yeah... better than archie mcphee....etc.
Answering some random Elvis/movie/political trivia may net you a $0.25 discount and your receipt will also get you a discount around the 'ford.

Fun Archie McPhee-like shop. Actually I like this a lot better, since with Archie McPhee's you can spent hours looking for the cool stuff you'd actually spend money on, and this place has just the cool stuff in a smaller space.
I ended up doing the bulk of my Burning Man shopping here, and the owners were nice enough to hook me up with a 10% discount on everything. Maybe I would have gotten more if I was a girl and sucked at Math? Hmmmph.
On the way out, I spotted the other room with all the bumber stickers. Well shit, my Forester is looking rather plan and I'm counting the days until 1.20.09 too! Oh well, maybe some other time. -

fun things to look at and buy.
Really fun and vivacious staff.
a community information exchange area.
The owners are open to community. Their positivity will warm you up on a cold rainy day.
their warmth and the fun things you can buy will make this place a "have to go to" every weekend. -

Well I still prefer Archie McPhee, but this is within walking distance of my house whereas Ballard...is not.
I wandered into this place one evening when I had ten minutes to kill before getting on a bus and was pleasantly surprised to discover such a fun nook on 45th! Now I come here whenever I need a card for somebody, or fun magnets to give as small gifts, or liberal paraphernalia. -

I love all these wacky stores that spring up all over Seattle and I was happy to see that this one expanded since I first saw it. There are a plethora of cards, gifts, and randomness. I love just coming here to roam among the wierdness and usually find something I "need". It is obviously a store that is in the right place, at the right time, with the right stuff.
(and they offer a neighborhood discount in which you can show your receipt here & get discounts at other stores like Trophy) -

Popped in with a friend while we were spending the day exploring Wallingford. Very cute little shop, full of kind of useless kitchy crap that I love so very very much.
I may very well be back. The girl that was working was super, super nice too :) -

I spend way to much time in this store laughing to myself. I get the majority of my cards from Not a number.
Staff is always great.
Worth spending a few minutes here...which may turn into 30. -

Funky, interesting and mostly useless stuff sold here! No, really, this is the place where you get something for that person "who has everything". Trivia questions daily and pleasant staff, I like to wander in here from time to time.

This is like a Spencer's Gifts for passive aggressive hippies. I wonder if they have any bumper stickers that read, "My Other Car is a Glass House"?

If your looking to make a political statement, first stop is Not a Number. Bumper stickers galore...something tells me this is'nt where you'll find a Bush/Cheney 04 sticker. Great staff offering a range of funky gifts. And the highlight, if you can correctly answer a trivia question (politically oriented so study up), you get a dollar discount on any purchase over $5. Cheers!

My go-to place for cards and silly gifts! Where else can you get a "#2 pencil" (poop eraser on a pencil), a USB pole dancer, and a squeaking pickle?! I never fail to find the perfect, unique little something.

If its unusual gifts you're looking for or just the potential for raising the blood pressure of any conservative political fan, then this small shop will have what you need. I enjoyed the list of trivia questions and answered one correctly so I saved a bit of money. I'll be going back for another try at the trivial board.

Visit here whenever you need a lift. These guys are fun to talk with. Get a discount when you can answer that week's trivia questions. Great place for Burning Man supplies. Many many things I see here I see no where else. It always makes me laugh to walk in here. CONSTANTLY rotating stock, check back often for more goofy objects. November 11, 2011 they moved to FREMONT neighborhood, across the street from the Fremont Public Library.
Frequent community meetings and author readings. See also http://www.notanumberg....
Sometimes they stay open late if entertaining guests are still shopping.1 Previous Review: Show all »

Some of the cards the cards they have there are pretty freaking funny. The gifts are kinda hit or miss, depending on what you're looking for. They have a pretty limited amount of wrapping paper/gift bags. I used my groupon/living social there (don't remember which it was), so that made everything reasonable. At full price it would be slightly overpriced, not tooooo bad though.
