I cannot recommeend this medical group highly enough and have sent MANY people to the wonderful doctors here, especially after the professional and effiicient manner in which the staff handled an emergency situation several years ago.
For the past six years I have seen almost all of the physicians on staff for my basic health needs. Dr Locatelli and Dr Connolly stand out as being truly committed to making sure I received the best care, practical advice, and consistent follow-up.
The front desk staff is organzied and cordial, with well-kept records and prompt returns on phone calls. This makes it supereasy to dovetail information with the main Northwestern facilities downtown, plus patients can sign up for an sucre online service to make appointments online.
I would send anyone here without hesitation!

I had a great experience with Dr. Connelly at this office.
I went today for the first time for my routine yearly appointment, and it was so painless and easy, I couldn't believe it. I got there early to do the first-timer paperwork, and the receptionists were very friendly and helpful, and I saw the doctor at my scheduled time, believe it or not (he was maybe 10 minutes late, but in doctor world, that's on time).
Dr. Connelly was so friendly and caring. He really went through my medical history to make sure he had everything right. He really seemed to care about my health and current problems. I have a thyroid condition (condition being I don't have one), and I needed to have blood work done right away to refill one of my prescriptions. He told all the nurses to make sure that it was done by tomorrow afternoon. I've NEVER had a doctor push through blood work for me. It was great. I was just really content when I left, and I'm usually frustrated at the time I've wasted in the waiting room ... not here, though. Northwestern medical groups are really great all around.
The office isn't super fancy (like you'd get at the Northwestern Hospital on St. Clair), but it's a no frills place with great doctors and staff that truly care about you. I'm so happy that the office is within walking distance to my apartment.
I also go to the office on St. Clair for a specialist in the endo department, and I have to say that Northwestern truly is a great medical group. I've had nothing but positive experiences there. I would highly suggest it to anyone.

I started going to Dr. Alt two months ago and I am very pleased with the office. It is a very well run office and everyone is very nice and efficient. Dr. Alt is listens carefully and I never feel like she is judgemental. (I often think I am sick when I am not- a problem being raised with a north shore jewish mother) I had to switch some medication and she did great follow up. It is sometimes difficult to take blood from my sneaky veins but they always manage to catch them right away! Major plus is there is free VALET PARKING with validation, this make the office get 10 stars!!

Dr. Anne Franke Locatelli has been mine (and my husband's!) GP for nearly 4 years now. She's the best doctor I've ever had! She really takes time to get to know you and LISTENS TO YOU! She'll spend 45 minutes with you if you have a concern. Amazing! Office staff is even great, I can't say enough....I moved out of the neighborhood and still make the trek to see her.
P.S. When Dr. Locatelli was on maternity leave my husband ended up getting Viral Meningitis and Dr. Susan Alt took great care of him. She listened (even though I'm sure we sounded like crazy people) and took our concerns seriously, leading to the correct diagnosis after a week of misery! She's just as good at Dr. Locatelli!!

Dr. Locatelli is awesome. She always answers any and all questions you might have & never rushes you. She has personally called me on more than one occasion to discuss things and has also called Rx's in for me when I wasn't able to get into the office. I highly recommend her (her nurse is fabulous too).

Trying to find a doctor's network when you are new to a city is really tough. You don't want to end up at Joe's Slice and Dice for your physicals!!!! "Just try and relax" does not cut it! *shudder*
Northwestern Network really is a comforting place. Easy to get to and great service. If you need a doctor, then check them out for a check up!

Yes, Dr. Anne Frank Locatelli is a VERY good doctor!!! Only reason I go there!
I have NEVER liked going to the doctor until I met Dr. Anne Franke-Locatelli! She is the best doctor on the face of this earth. As a new patient, I was expecting to be shuffled through pretty quickly, but we actually talked for 45 minutes plus. It is so great being able to trust your doctor and know she is helping you. If your insurance covers her, you will NOT be disappointed. You also have the nice bonus of this office being part of Northwestern, should you need a stellar hospital!
