Finally Norwood Park did something with the train station! For years, people have discussed how that would be a goldmine for whomever opened it!
Open Monday-Saturday (no sure of hours) this cute little cafe has everything from espresso and cappuccino to bagels and soup. FYI- their veggie panini is great!
A roomy dining area gives space to those there for a leisure breakfast and those who are trying to stay warm.
The place is very inviting- chess boards and board games can be found as can community notices and events.
This place is long overdue, but by now means behind the times, all their cups, napkins, etc are eco-friendly! Either made from recycled materials or recyclable.
There is even a convenient to-go window for commuters waiting for the train....

A wonderfully appointed room that is warm and inviting and a great place in the neighborhood where kids and adults can gather.  It is the neighborhood's first try at a decent specialty cafe -- coffee, espresso, gelato, smoothies, sandwiches and bakery -- and it hits many of the right notes. Extremely personable service by owner. A very good and convenient place to hold local meetings.
