Review from Danny W.
Redding, CA
This tap room attached to the North Star Craft Brewery is in a brand new building and is a cozy setting(around 15 could be seated inside, about the same outside). The music played over the stereo system is eclectic and enhances the atmosphere. Currently two unfiltered brews are on tap, a Pale and an Amber. Of the two, I preferred the Pale as I noticed a greater depth of flavor which is what I gravitate to in a beer. The two owners were present the night I visited and they are very friendly and great hosts.

This is a really tiny local brewery - a big shed houses the whole setup - brewery and bar. They had only four beers at the time, and I found them really good, not to mention quite strong. There were a bunch of regulars, and both them and the owners were really friendly. They were handing out tasters of their four beers to almost everyone in our group without charge.
Didn't have any music playing at 4pm when we went, but there was a stage, music system and amp in evidence that they have live music too. Worth checking out. -
Review from Swarup B.

3 stars for the beer, 5 stars for the incredibly nice staff and a cool place to hang w/ locals.
out of the 4 beers here i only enjoyed the stout. the esb, pale ale and the other one were not to my liking at all and felt that they left much to be desired. the stout was everything i was expecting. nice, smokey, a hint of chocolate and thick. very nice body to it too.
the actual bar area is pretty small but is cool w/ a few seats and a very friendly staff to help you out. they offer flights of beer, full pints or you can buy a growler. we also got a tour of the beer producing facility which was literally a warehouse in the back.
even though i only like 1 of the 4 beers there, my friends and i had a great time because of the great people and talking to some random peeps at the bar. if i come across their stout again, i'll most definitely pick it up.
