North End Diner
1 review for North End Diner
The North End Diner is connected to the Best Western, and is located just off of I-35/80 on Merle Hay Road. Accordingly, the majority of its clintele seems to be lodging guests and freeway travelers. The restaurant is quite affordable, but overall, isn't anything too great.
Some highlights of their menu include wet fries (fries served with gravy), and their signature blue plate specials. There is a soda fountain here as well. The food isn't bad, but also isn't anything to rave about either.
Despite its mediocrity, North End Diner must be fairly popular since I encounter at least a 10 minute wait every time I come here (early evenings). However, I think the crowds mostly have to do with the diner's proximity to the Best Western Hotel (as well as other surrounding lodges) and the freeway.
