Solid food. Coming back from hiking or the pass and want some food? Head here. I think most everyone will find something they like on the menu.
This place is popular with the locals and folks passing through and I can easily see why. -

This restaurant is a great destination. Great food that includes large and juicy burgers, beef brisket, corn beef and other sandwiches. This restaurant has a nice kids menu of chicken fingers and buttered noodles. Kids love it! Adults love the the quality and certainly the quantity of food,
The service was a problem for us, but it was extremely busy. Expect a long wait on a Sunday after church. But, the server was friendly and it was Sunday after all! -

We found this place after doing some pre-research prior to moving to the area from Texas. We initially came here for breakfast about 2 weeks ago, and while most of the family thoroughly enjoyed their meals, the wife wasn't a huge fan of the ham they used. I believe she stated it was too smokey.
We decided to give them another shot for dinner with my brother, sister in-law and their two kids this past Friday. What an awesome dinner we had. First, the waitress didn't skip a beat when it came to servicing the group of 8 and was able to keep up with multiple drink requests and special orders for the kids. We enjoyed two appetizers (Coconut Fish and house-made potato chips with Onion Dip). Both of them were fantastic.
Next, we moved on to entrees, and all of the adults at the table had a mixture of different burgers. After eating at numerous burger establishments in Texas, I can firmly say this place ranks in my top 5 favorite places to get a burger at. It was excellent. Also, one of the children at the table got an order of Chicken Strips, and they were very large, hand breaded, and extremely juicy.
Excellent place in a small town. -

This is by far my favorite place ever. I happily drive 45 minutes just to eat here.
Me and my boyfriend came across this place on accident and we have been in love with it since. The service, all though sometimes slow, is great and the food is fan-freeking-tastic. We have yet to be disappointed with this place. The stroganoff is my boyfriends favorite, and the black and blue steak is mine. (note on the black and blue steak... take the left overs home, cut it into chunks and toss it into some rice pilaf... SO GOOD!!!)
I cannot think of a single bad thing to say about this place.
If you love great food, great drinks and awesome service then you have to take the drive to north bend for this place!!! it will be worth it!!! -

I had the lunch special today. It was chicken fried chicken, which was a big chicken breast panko breaded and fried to perfection, delicious mashed potatoes and gravy (with gravy on the chicken too), roasted veggies, and soup to start.
Everything was top notch, and the price was $8.95! I have also tried the chicken quesadilla, and the chicken pot pie, and both were excellent. This place is a hidden gem. -

Eating here for the first time last Sunday, I am totally in love with the food and service. I had the Mt. Si burger which had two 1/3 pound patties, cheese, bacon, grilled onions and the works. She had a Bacon Cheese burger with the works. Both came with their "Best in the Valley" fries (homemade steak fries). WOW!! Both entrees were delicious...that is probably the second best burger I have ever had (In-n-Out being the best). On top of great food, the service was beyond excellent (even more so since they were right in the middle of a rush). My water and soda glass never were empty. We attended a concert at the Snoqualmie Casino and returned after for dessert. Twice in one day is the best recommendation I can make. Will certainly return the next time we are in the area!!

We really enjoyed this place. Came here twice while on vacation, once for dinner, and once trying to catch breakfast. I can't remember what time breakfast ends...but I think it was 10:30 or 11.
I had the Indian Taco both times because it was really that good. Their fries are wonderful. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich the first time and said it was "meh", but he's picky about pulled pork. The second time, he had the philly cheesesteak prime rib dip and said it was amazing. Don't be scared to get a side salad here, it's not dried out bagged lettuce. Salad was quite good.
Service was friendly and fast. We will return. -

North Bend Bar & Grill is a good go-to spot after a hike anywhere on the I-90 corridor, unless you happen to be closer to Roslyn, then The Brick would be the place to go.
The atmosphere is warm and countrified. The beer and drink selection seems to be above average and food is decent, even great on selected dishes.
I've only had the Reuben here. It's made well with real corned beef and not those deli slices some places try to pass off. Knowing that there are different types of Reuben people, I would describe this as more saucy/cheesy than sauerkrautish/mustardish/horseradishish. As your side, you should definitely try their homemade potato chips. They are awesome with the onion dip.
Other good dishes are the burgers and the blackened salmon sandwich got good reviews from my friend. If your getting apps, try the deep fried pickle, but avoid the fried green tomatoes.
Also, a very emphatic warning from another friend to avoid the chicken strips. However, I did explain that no one over ten years of age usually orders those.
It's easy to locate just a block east of the T cafe of Twin Peaks fame which is three blocks north of the Texaco gas station of The Vanishing fame. This little town has had more than its share of movies shot here. -

We've tried to eat here a few times and once we discovered Boxley's and Riverbend Cafe we haven't returned. The food we had was flavorless - so if you love middle of the road this would be a good place.
The service has also never been great - each time we felt like we were bothering our servers. There were definitely a lot of regulars in the restaurant and it looked like they got great service...so maybe if you keep going it gets better. -

My family and I frequently make the trip from the near Eastside to North Bend to eat at the NBBG. The atmosphere is great and the menu includes a number of interesting items. Can't say everything I've ever had was great. (Not a big fan of the wraps.) But on the whole it's a great family restaurant as well as a very inviting bar.
Stop by for a weekend breakfast and head home for a nap. You'll need it. -

This was a cold-stop (no advanced planning/research) after a hike and we couldn't have been happier.
First, service is phenomenal. Staff was friendly, prompt and highly responsive without hovering.
We had lunch. Started with mahi mahi taco appetizers. Great. Just a bit of a bite of heat (jalapeno) and a great sauce.
For entrees, we had a burger and a chicken burger. The Mount Si Burger had two perfectly cooked patties -- great flavor with no greasiness. It was topped it a sharp cheddar, sautéed sweet onions, and perfectly done thick-sliced smoked bacon (not too crispy, but not limp).
The chicken burger sported a tender grilled breast, friend anaheim peppers and a great sauce.
Both the standard steak fries, and the sweet potato fries were flavorful without being greasy. -

After being stuck in 1-90 traffic for F-ing hours my compatriots and I decided to get dinner, and North Bend was just were we happened to be. We all wanted to eat at a sit down restaurant and get out of the car. After Yelping we went with the North Bend Bar and Grill. I had the prime rib dip sandwich and I thought is was good; it came with steak fries and they were good too. I'm never a fan of paying more than $12 for a sandwich, but at least it wasn't an unpleasant experience. Our server was friendly, and we had no complaints. I'm not sure that I'd go out of my way to come back here, and the 4 out of 5 Stars is based off of my opinion that it was better than O.K., but I'm not sure that I'd go as far to say "Yay, I'm a fan"

Probably the most beautiful, scenic drive I've ever taken to get to dinner. I mean, you literally drive ten min out of the city and you have miles of uninterrupted tree and mountain views til you reach North Bend.
Anyhow, the restaurant is really homey, and large enough to fit bigger family groups. Food comes in big, generous portions for a decent price. Onion ring appetizer was awesome! Can be shared with at least three people.
Definitely had a major food coma after this meal. Score. -

North Bend Bar & Grill was perfect for cozy dining in the mountains. The restaurant was packed for dinner. So there was a wait period of about 5-minutes. Then we got the table next to the kitchen entrance. As we sat, the area was blessed with a rainstorn and some hail. It looked gorgeous from inside. Gloomy and mysterious grey skies are romantic.
The menu seems to have lots of burgers, an international touch and some vegetarian options. They're an elegant diner with alcohol. Our suppers seemed have been generous portions. And washing down everything with dark ale and strawberry lemonade was an excellent idea too.
North Bend Bar & Grill serves up breakfast, lunch and dinner. The atmosphere is pretty welcoming with people and decor. Customer service was good. The bathrooms were clean. And we'd go back! -

We've had several good meals here, it's a great option when spending the day in the North Bend area. I've enjoyed everything I've tried on the menu, from breakfast to sandwiches, and especially the jambalaya!
The service has always been prompt and friendly, and even when they're busy you get the sense that the staff has a sense or urgency to take care of guests.
We'll definitely be back! -
Review from Taylor P.
I went up to Coach outlet with a friend and we needed some lunch. We had no idea where to go so we used the yelp app....when my friend saw Bar & Grill there was no convincing her to hit up the gourmet pizza place - it was dirty bar food she craved so we hit up NBBG.
There is a sign when you walk in to seat yourself - this is a good size place and since we were starving it just made sense to sit at the bar so we got immediate attention. We came for lunch and I asked the bartender to recommend a few items - he said the pulled pork sandwich was popular but he liked the trail burger. I went with a burger (the NBBG bacon cheese) and my friend ordered the Mt Si....omg this had TWO patties!! The burgers were ok....middle of the road. I think they are premade and frozen. I did order the sweet potato fries and got a HUGE amount to go with my burger. The service was good but again....we were right in their face at the bar. Food was decent enough for a $9 bar burger. I think next time I'm in the area I'm going to that pizza place down the road.... -

Hate paying too much for auto insurance?
Yeah, so do I. You know what else I hate over paying on?
Gas
Beer
Young boys
Shoes
Escort services
And messed up dining bills
The food was fantastic, although I had just hiked a brutal 8mile round trip vertical hike on Mt Si, so I believe almond and cheese crusted dog shit would've made me happy. The server was top notch, except for her over billing me. Poo poo on you missy-minus a star! But only one, cause everything else was fine.
The portions are HUGE, and the locals look like they enjoy that fact -
Review from Alli D.
Whilst snowshoeing on Snoqualmie Pass, I had a moment of Tourette's and shouted out, "Pulled Pork Sandwich!" After that, we couldn't crunch-crunch our way back to the car quick enough so that we could go on a quest for one.
Which led us into North Bend. I'd never been into the town before, but after passing the North Bend Factory Outlet stores, North Bend Theater, North Bend Dry Cleaner, and a sign advertising Bingo on Friday and Sunday nights, I was super excited. I mean, with so many businesses named after the town, how can you go wrong? The North Bend Bar and Grill could be the only obvious choice.
Indeed, they had pulled pork on the menu. But after two of my companions ordered it, I felt pressured to be different, so I went for the cheeseburger. The menu also advertised the World's Best Fries and Chips, and though I felt that was a lofty claim, I was willing to try them for myself.
All were perfectly yummy. The fries were a lot like Red Robin's--the huge steak-cut ones, with a tasty sprinkling of seasoning. And the burger was juicy and not overcooked like you get at some places. Plus they toast the bun, which is crucial in my book. The final proof that it was good was that I finished every bite. The Boy even commented that he'd never seen me eat so much at once, for which I was proud. (oink oink)
The pork sandwich looked mighty tempting as well, but I didn't necessarily regret my decision. It's only too bad that North Bend is so out of the way, otherwise I might go back right now to try it out for sure. -

Search for something gritty and greasy or stop at the first place with the word "bar" in it that appears to have food too? The latter won and it was a lucky find! We strolled in after climbing Mt Si - found the corner of the bar farthest from any children that would grate on the nerves. I had the Snoqualmie IPA and we shared a Burger and Dirty Bird sandwich, both with fries (my favorite kind, thick and lightly crisped). The burger was cooked with BBQ sauce, shrooms and cheese. And bacon. The turkey sandwich was on sourdough, with cheese. And bacon. Most items on the menu come with bacon. Which is OK with me.
The service was great, the price was modest, and the post-hike fuel was right on. -

Stopped in on a recommendation and it turned out to be well worth the drive. Picturesque setting near the Cascade Mountains, delicious food, great service, and (most importantly) great (read: Snoqualmie) beer. I would probably try something other than the Mookie Burger if I get the chance to visit again--Ciabatta bread for my burger is apparently just not my style--but I can't fault the place for my not knowing my own taste. I got a Snoqualmie Avalanche beer--lucky for me because they only sell this INCREDIBLE winter beer through the end of January, so I was lucky the North Bend still had a keg. Moments later at the brewery's tap room, I was able to try their spring seasonal--also delicious, but to be reviewed elsewhere.

The manager of the restaurant, Keith, contacted me regarding my experience, which I think speaks well of how the restaurant tries to treat its customers.
Upon reviewing the menu at NBB&G I realized my clam and spaghetti dish I mentioned was actually the steamed clam dish on the appetizer menu. I apologize for any confusion this may have caused.
I'd go back and give NBB&G another shot; perhaps next time I'm in town I'll check it out again. I appreciate your efforts, Keith!1 Previous Review: Show all »

I like this place for the sheer fact my wife and I stumbled upon it while we were still dating, so it was a "first" for both of us. We enjoyed then (as we do now) the Snoqualmie beers they have on tap.
When we were looking for a spot for our rehearsal dinner, we tried to get into this place, but just couldn't work it out. I'm not sure if it was a schedule thing or a size thing, but it wasn't any bad reason.
The decor is much like a lodge. Lot's of wood. But not overdone. We enjoy having a quick bite at the bar (bacon-cheeseburger w/ sweet potato fries for the wife; I had the ABC Wrap - mine was more messy!) before heading back downhill to our home in Seattle.
For the sports fans there are quite a few big-screen and little-screen televisions around the bar area, and almost anywhere you sit you can see a TV.
Good food, comfy place to hang out. A solid keeper for your portfolio of places to go. -

There aren't that many restaurants to choose from in North Bend, so you'd think that when we go out, we would spread our money equally amongst them to get some variety. Not so much. The food is consistently yummy here, so we come here most of the time (which isn't much anymore since we hardly eat out). My biggest complaint is that it's so damn popular that it gets harder and harder to find a table, but that has more to do with the influx of people moving here, which is another (sore) subject entirely.
I used to complain about the loud obnoxious children that are always about in this place, but now that I own one, I fit right in! -

This is a great place to go for a casual meal right in the heart of downtown North Bend.
We stopped at NBB&G on our way home from Snoqualmie skiing (ski gear on and all), and we totally fit right in with this lodge feeling type bar (complete with TVs for those interested in watching some sports). We had an amazing view of the mountains from our window, and we were cozy by the fire reading a random Alcoholics Anonymous book that was left on our table (of course it didn't stop me from having a few glasses of wine, and my friends some delicious bloody marys with pickled green beans!).
My man and our other guy friend had burgers that looked delicious, my girlfriend ordered the portobello mushroom sandwich (with mozzarella and pesto sauce), and lastly I ordered the buffalo chicken wings. I'd say the food was similar overall pretty good for bar type food, but the atmosphere and friendly staff made our experience overall a pleasant one! -

Came here last night. It has the feel of a small town diner. We got here at 9:15pm and the place was still pretty full.
For dinner I have the ABC wrap and one of the guys got fried pickles. Both were amazing. The wrap had avocado and bacon and was delish. The fried pickles were pretty amazing too. Their portions are really good sized and fill you up quick.
I also had a mountain lemonade and that was pretty tasty as well.
Only giving it 3 stars cause it didn't have the wow factor. I am not going to make a special trip just to eat here. However if I am in the area I will come back. -

We decided to stop because it was convenient. We were all glad we did!
The homemade potato chips and sweet potato fries were great.
My burger was very good and the hot wings were too, but it was a real treat that they sprinkled blue cheese crumbles on top of the blue cheese dressing.
Good beer available, family section too if you need it. -

This is a great lodge type bar and restaurant in downtown North Bend.
The food is pretty delicious, and the menu is diverse. They have everything from little flatbread pizzas to a steak dinner.
The only gripe I have about this place is the service: sometimes people can't even get in the restaurant because it is so packed, and the staff doesn't seem to function well under pressure.
On the right night, this place is great. -

Do yourself a favor. Go here and order the chips with the onion dip. You can thank me later.
The staff is really nice, the food is priced well, and they make a stiff drink. What more could you ask for? -

Snoqualmie, WA
I like the laid back atmosphere. Our table was situated right next to the giant fireplace (wonder if they ever use it...) which had a table with some old looking board game on it (decoration or do some guys ever bust out their mad gaming skills?) When we went the place was pretty full. I got the "one ring" special item...so hard to resist food that makes reference to Lord of the Rings. Three sausages, sauerkraut, and an onion ring. The sausages tasted ...sausage-y...nothing exceptionally memorable. I really enjoyed the creamy mustard sauce that accompanied it.
I was mildly surprised at the prices. They were admittedly a touch higher than I thought they would be. Okay experience all around. Maybe I'll go over when it's colder and see if they put that fire place to good use.
