Yet another stellar experience with Norm's:

I called the day before Thanksgiving, worried that I wouldn't make it up to MKE for holiday dinner due to a leaking water pump.  Norm squeezed me in the same day, fixed the water pump and replaced the timing belt (which had been covered with coolant and was also a mess), all for a very reasonable price and in just a few hours.  This was after going to Pep Boys where they gave me the run around and said they weren't sure if they could do the fix in the same day.  Forget it; go to Norm's!!

p.s. there's a fantastic japanese place just up the road, a bit down on the other side of the road from the IHOP.  GREAT soba noodles!!

Good lord.  Where have these guys been all of my life?  At least my time in Chicago as a car owner!!!

After having a very unsuccessful time at another shop, my awesome boyfriend looked up places on YELP and found Norm's.  A quick phone call confirmed the high ratings-  Norm's Automotive not only knows their stuff, but they are courteous, professional, and COMPLETELY AWESOME.

Besides the fact that the cost was LESS THAN HALF of what the first shop quoted me, Norm did a great job of explaining what was wrong with my car and how it needed to be fixed.  There were two parts wrong, and he very clearly explained how they were related.

He called a short two hours later telling me that while my car was fixed, he discovered another problem (a mysterious noise I had noticed myself) and for a small additional amount, it was an easy fix.  He didn't pressure me into getting it fixed at all, but gave me all the proper information so I could make a sound decision.

Norm's Auto is fair and they don't talk down to you at all.  My biggest pet peeve is when I get spoken to like a stupid girl.  That's not to say that they're not absolute gentlemen- one of the guys graciously opened the door and wished me happy holidays :)

I will definitely keep using norms for all of my auto repair needs!!! My old saturn is running like a brand new car!

Outstanding!

I must say that I found Norm's from Yelp and had my fingers crossed that my fellow Yelper's insights were true... and they were.

Norm was personable and professional - as was Joe. They did fine work and did the extra little things (like walking me through what was needed and not needed) that no other shop has ever done. They not only saved me thousands... but were nice and informative as well.

They knew how to resolve an issue that had plagued my car for almost a year... With hundreds, if not more, spent to fix it at other shops - Norm's fixed it for less than a hundred!!!!

I have been taking my cars here since the place was Wally's Auto- a long time past, and Wally still works there!  Norm and the gang do quality work, at a fair price.
I have had everything from oil changes to ignition and engine repairs. Norm and company will check out the problem and give you an quote on major repairs. I don't bother with quotes anymore because I trust them to fix the problem without padding the bill with junk like can happen at other places.
You can tell by the steady stream of clients that keep the place busy that they do good work. Since they are usually very busy Ill call the day before to see if I can bring the car in if there is an issue.
They work fast too, almost all issues I have had fixed the same day I brought the car in.
So if you are in need of a fix, Norm and crew can fix it.
Thanks!

Well, I kind of hate to write a good review about a small place. All the other Yelpers will follow my own example, look for highly-reviewed auto mechanics, swarm this small shop, and I'll never get in. Yeah, it really sucks to like a small place.

Maybe I'll be lucky and you won't ever find it. Even knowing the address, I almost missed Norm's. In fact, I've been driving down Lincoln Avenue at least twice weekly for almost a year, and I sure saw the Walgreen's on the corner, but I never even realized Norm's was there.

I called and said, I might need a muffler. Brought my old Saturn in, sat down with the newspaper in the waiting area, and didn't even get onto page 3 before Norm himself came by and said, it's not the muffler, it's the pipe leading into the catalytic converter. He told me the cost, said he could have the part in a few hours, and that he could call me when it came in. I drove home (10 minutes away). Two hours later, Norm called and said he had the part.

Well, this time, I did finish reading the Sun-times while I was waiting, and had just started digging into the Tribune when my car was done. Unbelievable! Norm filled out the paperwork that I needed to register my new catalytic converter, I paid, and I was out of there. And, true to his word, that constant humming sound from under the car was gone. It's going to take a while before I realize that my car doesn't make noise.

By the way, he did check out the muffler, said that the outer of two coverings was almost worn through, and that I would probably need a new muffler in about 6 months. Note: he did not try to sell me a muffler. Norm's actually fixed my car.

I'm sold on Norm's. I've found a new mechanic. And please, do me a favor, fellow Yelpers - go to another mechanic will you? Please, please, go somewhere else - I loved getting the work done, and in and out of there, in only an hour or two. If you all start going to Norm's, then I might actually get through the Tribune, too, while waiting for your cars to be fixed.

I went to Norm's because they received good reviews on Yelp and I want to add to the good reviews.  They have replaced my alternator and brake pads and rotors.  Every time I go, he calls me to tell me what is going on and what the price will be.  As far as prices go, I'm not sure where he stands compared to other mechanics but I appreciate that he remembers who I am and remember my lil blue car.  I go to him for my oil changes as well. I've never had a problem getting my car in and he is honest about how long it'll take.

Great place!

Just came from my second visit to Norm's and I'm still highly impressed and satisfied.

The thermostat died on my 16 yr old Honda, they replaced it and the coolant all for a very fair price. I dropped the car off very late Monday night and it was ready at 10am today.

If you've been burned/lied to/cheated/scammed by other shops- it's time to try Norm's.

They read these reviews and strive to make us customers very happy.

Norm: replace messed up shift plate with used one from same aged car: $120.

Let's see, crappy dealership shop suggests I think about having $2200 worth of repairs done on my car. While I know that my shocks, spark plugs, and rear brakes DO need to be checked...they had other ideas in mind as well.

I call Norm's, get a quote. $1300, but likely cheaper.

I dropped the car off at 7:30am, it was ready for me by 4pm and only $880. WHAT?! Perfect service. Honest. and Saved me a bundle. Nice knowing you crappy dealership service shop! Peace out.

Really happy with Norm & Joe - thank to all you Yelpers! My story is the same as most - found Norm's on Yelp and went there for a oil change & brake check. With no appointment & it growing late on Friday, Joe nonetheless stayed & did the repairs on my rear brakes for a really reasonable rate.

As an added plus, Norm, Joe, and I discussed our opinions on the nearby Middle Eastern food scene, with Joe giving me a menu from his favorite. Now that's service!

I'm not going to say anything new, but wouldn't feel right to slight Norm of getting another 5 star review that he is much deserving of.

5 stars for honesty
5 stars for price
5 stars for just getting it done in a few short hours in the midst of MANY customers...

Norm is very busy, I don't think he needs your business, but if your car or car mechanics were like mine, then you will most likely need his.  What he fixed was the result of a previous mechanics wrong doing.

Driving 8 hours to go home tomorrow- Thanks Norm, you might have saved my life and definitely put some hope back into me holding on to that same old Honda I've had since I started driving.

*Amazing*!  I came to Yelp because I was uncertain about mechanics in my area and sure enough they directed me to the best one!  Norm of Norm's Auto personally discussed the repairs and other details that would have to happen with my car and always welcomed suggestions to lower the price!
Not only did he take extra time to find out about my obscure warranty, but he also cleaned up any repairs that I had (attempted) to do and got my car to 100%.  My car is amazing now thanks to Norm's Auto!

Oh how I love Norm's. I mean who loves their mechanic??!! I do!!! My family and I have been going to Norm's for 20 years. They are honest, and always find time to squeeze me in. If they can get the parts for cheaper they will, they call you with updates as to what they find and ask what you want them to do. If you are a regular as I am, a grease and oil change might only cost you a six pack of beer. Norm always gets the job done for less, and the quality of work is top notch. I recommend Norm's to all my friends who are new to the city, because you will not get ripped off. Norm's was also ranked as best mechanic in the city by Consumers Best. Snaps to Norm and Joe and the entire staff for keeping a great business great!!

After reading yelp reviews, I was sold on at least trying Norm's out.  My car was stolen but was found a couple days later.  Since the thieves decided I didn't need a catalytic converter nor a working steering column, it needed some work.  Living in Old Town, I was gun shy about driving it ~5-6 miles for a mechanic.  Thank god I did.  Not only were they friendly and upfront but did something no other mechanic would do.  They viewed it from my eyes.  Norm and his brother (forgot his name) tried to fix it for the cheapest cost to me.  They didn't jerk me around like hmmmm....say Fletcher Honda would, could or does.

Once I gave them the green light on the repairs, it was fixed in one day and I did tell them it was NOT a rush job.  Also, the repairs were much cheaper than I expected to pay and they did a lot of extras (fixed weatherstripping, filled fluids, etc) for no charge.  When I picked up the car, Norm explained everything they did.  I personally liked this.

Friendly, quick, effective, competent, reasonably priced....what more do you want from a mechanic?

I found my mechanic and looked like a lot of other people did too.  I will definitely drive my car back up there again.

If you try them out, I'll bet you a beer you'll be writing a 5-star review within a cple days.  FYI, I like 312.

I've used Norm's twice now - once to replace belts and once to replace brakes. I shopped around both jobs before using them and they were always the lowest price - but, most importantly, at the same time gave me A+ service. I had one minor issue, which was not their fault - a structrual problem with my hood that was preventing it from closing. I spoke to Norm who agreed to stay late on a Friday evening until I could get over there. Promplty the whole staff helped get the hood closed so that I could safely drive home. He showed me the cause of the problem (that a previous owner likely had an accident there) - of the multiple dealers, etc. who had looked over this car not one spotted it! Joe took the time to explain how they discovered it, Norm gave me the card to a very good body shop (which also did a good job). My search for a mechanic is over! They have shown me multiple times now that they sincerely care about their business and their customers and have certainly deserved their reputation.

I visited Norm's for the second time last week for an oil change and tire rotation before a long trip. Again, the service was excellent, fair and quick. In fact, I can not recommend them highly enough!  They even noticed a broken wind shield wiper blade on my way out, and replaced it on the spot!

The first time I was there, I was afraid I had a serious electrical issue after my windshield wipers, turn signals and rear defrost stopped working.  It turned out it was only a fuse and they quickly replaced it for a total bargain.

A friend recommended them to me after going to them for years. Although I have only been there twice, I trust them implicitly -- which I never thought I would say about an auto shop.

Visit Norm's -- they will get you in an out quickly and at a fair price!

Norm and his brother, Joe, are two of the most honest mechanics I've ever encountered.  Yeah, I know...honest + mechanic = oxymoron.  NO...these guys are great.

I found them about 7 years back thru a referral and will NEVER go anywhere else.  They seem to be so honest and inexpensive that thee is no reason to look elsewhere.

As a newbie to Chicago (I moved here a little over a year ago), I had no idea who I should take my car to for routine maintenance.  BTW, before I moved here, I used this mom and pop mechanic for years, since I got burnt so many times by the bigger chains.  I decided to check out one of the dealerships, since afterall, they should know my car.  Plus, I wanted to see what they had to say.  After they checked my car, I was given a laundry list of items that needed to be fixed/replaced.  Although some of them were correct, I was skeptical about the other items.  Then I found Norm's on Yelp.  Initially I was hesistant to take my car there, mainly due to distance.   From where I live, I have to take both the Red line and the bus, which costs me 45 minutes each way.

But guess what, after my first experience, I will continue to use Norm's.  I took my car there for him to change my transmission fluid.  In addition, I specifically asked him to see if brake fluid and power steering fluid need to be replaced.  Also, I asked him to take a quick look and see what other problem areas the car might have.  I got a call from him a few hours later, and he told me that aside from transmission fluid, nothing else needed to be taken care of urgently.  In addition, his price was about half of what the dealership quoted me.

In looking for a mechanic, there are three things that are important to me:  honesty, quality, and price.  Norm's exceeded my expectation in all three areas.

I have made three visits to Norm's: twice for our first car and once with our other.   I will absolutely go back to Norm's for future car maintenance.

With all visits, I had specific issues plus some things I wanted checked.  The specific issues, which had varying degrees of complexity, were all fixed.  For a few of the fixes, they twice offered economical options using used parts, which can save hundreds of bucks.  I also asked to have the rear brakes checked because they were squeaking a little--they said that the brakes still had life so they just cleaned them up.  I saved money and no more squeaking.  Very satisfying.

Norm is a straight talker and I generally feel like I'm getting the straight story, no more, no less.   His brother Joe works at the shop too and is also a friendly fellow.   I would have thought these were the Magliozzi brothers from CarTalk, except they are definitely not Italian.

While they don't have a conventional reception area, go in the door and stick your head in the back.  Norm (or someone) will be with you as soon as they wipe the grease off their hands.

I've been taking my 1990 Blazer to Norm's place for about 5 or 6 years.  They really care about their clients. As a woman, I have gotten a bunch of bullshit everywhere else I've gone.  Not to mention all the doom and gloom on the poor condition of my car and how much work I'm going to need and how much it's going to cost. I've had to coordinate my going to a mechanic with my brother's schedule (a novice mechanic) so that he could come with me so I wouldn't get taken for ride!

My best friend told me about Norm's and I will never go anyplace else!
They said my truck was in great condition (only 60 thousand miles). Just needed upkeep...the usual.

There prices are always fair, sometimes they'll just "throw something in" or "adjust something" at no charge cuz it wasn't that big of a deal. I just got  home from them, yet again, my driver's side door would not shut. The latch was rusted ro something...I dunno. Joe said "bring it in". In less than 10 min he said "okay! you can go!" I said how much do I owe you? He waved his hand at me as if swatting away at a fly and said "no charge...buckle up!".

I LOVE these guys. They are honest and fair and caring. I believe that is why their business is so good! I thought about bringing them donuts, the last time I did they said "Oh, why did you do that?! We're all trying to watch our figure here!"
Maybe a veggie plate next time!! I understand boys...I understand.

After years of dealing with "say anything to up-charge the repair" kind of repair shops, I must say that this place seems to be honest.  I took my car in to fix a "rattle in the front".  After researching my vehicle, I knew exactly what needed to be fixed - pretty easy repair with inexpensive parts.  When I took it in and told the mechanic what I thought it was, I got the "we won't really know until we look at it" response.  I thought then, ok, we'll see how they handle it.  This was easily a situation where they could have said that any number of things could be wrong.  A lot of those very expensive to fix.  In the end they did the right thing, fixed it the same day and charged a reasonable fee.

Honest repair shops are hard to find.  I'll be going back.

Another note:  When I was dropping off my car and talking to the guy in the front office, I noticed an older woman sitting there in a house dress.  Who wears those anymore?  Anyway, she must have sensed that I was a little weary because she said to me as I was leaving, "These guys are very good. I've been coming here for years and I'm still using them even though I live in the suburbs!"

I'm sold.

Norm - great guy
Service - good stuff and just what I needed, no over-pitching BS
Pricing - better than a kick in the a55

Norm was even willing to make their margin strictly on labor if I supplied the parts at the cost of ebay.  Hell of a deal.  Keep up the good work guys, you're the reason I went from yelp reader to yelp writer.

I needed to take my car for a check up since my check engine light went on.  I checked on Yelp for a close place and decided to try this place out.  I have since been back for several small things, and my fiance had his brakes fixed as well.  The brothers who own this shop are really nice and straightforward.  I haven't had any problems with something not being fixed right the first time, as I have had with previous places.  Also, as much as I hate to admit that gender can ever stand in my way, I am kind of an ignorant girl when it comes to cars and I am often fearful that I will get taken advantage of or at least talked down to.  The great thing about Norm is that when he's explaining what repair needs to be done he actually EXPLAINS it and is as far from condescending as possible.  I also feel that their rates are very reasonable.  Absolutely take your car here.

He recharged the A/C on my Jeep, applied a dye (to detect leaks), and explained what was going on to me in layman's terms. His diagnosis was spot on for a few other problems as well.

If I had the equipment to extract and refill my own air conditioning refrigerant, I would have done so myself. City life prevents me from performing my own car maintenance. I would not hesitate to again let Norm and his staff work on it again.

Wow. This is why I use Yelp. I just moved into town a few months ago and had only gone to Marino's to have my Jeep looked at. Even by dealer standards, they were bad. So, when my check engine light went on Monday morning, I freaked out. I drove by Marino's that morning and after 30 minutes of being hassled, I was told it'd be $95 and two hours to look at it. I balked and decided to drive to work anyway. While at work I looked car repair up on Yelp and found this five star rated place, that truly is five star worthy.
I drove my Jeep in. Norm said, 'give us 20 minutes to run the analysis and we'll go from there'. 20 minutes later, I walk in and they say they are done. They checked it and all they needed to do was grease a few parts. I pulled out my wallet and he actually said that there would be no charge since all they did was some quick work. I was shocked in a good way. Norm was friendly and my car has worked great since. I will be sure to go here whenever I need any work done.

Thanks Yelpers and thanks Norms.

Norm and Joe and Joe and the others are always kind, professional, no bullshit and great prices.  I cried once there havin a beer waiting for him to reduce my bill and he was able to shop around for parts and took off most labor charges in order to accomodate my diminished budget that week.  These guys are accomodating, caring, kind, smart, and no-nonsense.  Try goin to any other shop at 6pm just to get your headlights aimed.  Doubt they'll do it like these boys will!

Recently I was going to leave my new 98 Altima there over the weekend for them to look at Monday, but when I got there at 4:45 Joe and Joe popped it up on the rack right away to give it a once over.

When coming in late, bring a sixer of Heinies.  They'll do just bout anything for ya after that!

I went to Norm's several times and was very happy with the service.  Norm and the gang are very professional and easy to work with.  I remember for one issue I had, Norm rode in my car with me around the block to make sure we were hearing the same thing and were on the same page with the problem/resolution.  The only negative experience I had was when he recommended a $500 exhaust system replacement ... I went somewhere else (Velasquez & Sons at Elston & Central) and had a piece of my rusted out pipe replaced for $40.  But even though I've moved out of the area, I recommend Norm's to all my friends.

I used Yelp to find Norm's because I don't really know anyone in the area who could refer me to a mechanic, and being female, didn't want to get taken advantage of. Yelp certainly steered me in the right direction. Norm's was great. I brought my car in without an appointment in the afternoon with major problems, it was looked at, an estimate given, and repaired by the next day!! The total cost was half of what other places had quoted me, and the work is excellent. My car needed brakes, inner tie rods, a clutch and I can't believe the difference! Norm was friendly, explained things to me, showed me the old parts they removed from the car, and even got on the phone to Enterprise, where I got a discount as his customer. I have other work that will have to be done, and I'll go back to Norm's!

Afer seeing a recommendation for Norm's on LiveJournal, then reading the reviews on here, I decided to give them a try. I'd never taken my car to a mechanic before, so I was looking for someone honest and straight forward; it is an added bonus that the shop is about a mile from where I live.

I took my car in and Norm diagnosed the problem and did what he could to fix it for right now. It will need a bit more work, and work that will be a much more costly, but I trust that it won't be more expensive (or much more) than what he quoted me, because what I was charged for the work he has already done was right around his estimate. Speaking of costs, it really didn't seem unreasonable; as mentioned I've never been to a mechanic, but of course there are all kinds of horror stories about them.

When he asked me where I heard of them and I told him Yelp, he seemed pleased, saying he's gotten a lot of people telling him they heard about him here. Keep it up, Yelpers!

My mom has been going to Norm's for nearly 16 years and NEVER has had a problem with their services or prices, EVER!!!  I got my first car through them because one of their clients was looking to get rid of his '84 Reliant.  That was in 1998 and they took care of that car until Mr. Rusty came through and starting eating away.  I never felt like they talked down to me about not knowing more about cars nor have I ever felt like I was getting swindled out of some cash.
First Story...
One cold and slushy Sunday morning, there were virtually no auto shops open and the only one that was open was a large chain place at Elmdale and Clark.  Those P.O.S. said that I needed over $1,000 in repairs for my car... that '84 Plymouth Reliant.. that same one with a Blue Book value  (at that time) of $475!!!  Hell to the naw!  Took it to Norm the next morning and he quoted a final price of under $200 and I even asked him about why the other place would need to put that much work into my car and he flat out told me that most mechanics realize their patrons are clueless about the finer points of car maintenance and they take advantage.  Norm, Joe, et al. have never taken advantage of me nor anyone I have recommended over the years.
Second Story (in case you get this far!)...
I was enrolled at the University of Illinois in C-U and drove my second car ('92 Caravan baby!) down to school after Thanksgiving break.  Axle broke 20 miles outside of campus and had to get it to towed to the Car-X near my apartment.  The guy said that after replacing the broken axle that it's best to replace the other one in order to keep everything in balance.. Hot B.S. I tell ya!  I immediately called Norm at his office, then he called the crap mechanic and the crap mechanic immediately changed his story and I only had the one broken axle replaced...  By the way, I visited said crap mechanic THREE years later for an oil change, and he actually remembered my car and the broken axle and gave me a grin that said roughly "You are one customer who is not afraid to call his mechanic from back home and have him call me to straighten me out!"
Lesson learned:
Norm is the man, 'nuff said.

Norm's is awesome.

Not only are they reasonably priced, but I now have a mechanic who is trustworthy AND fast (and only 1.5 miles away from my apartment)! Being female and not terribly knowledgeable about cars, I'm often a little wary of mechanics, but I can't tell you how happy I am to have found these guys.

I brought my car in on Friday at noon with a litany of issues (one other Yelper noted that the shop seemed a little confused when he dropped off his car--I had the same experience, so just walk in and say that you're hoping to get your car looked at and they'll direct you to the right person). Norm and his crew checked everything, and Norm himself called me a couple of times throughout the day to give me price estimates and explain to me what they were doing. (His estimate for fixing the lock on my door was less than the locksmith wanted to charge, and they actually discovered that a little grease was all my hood latch needed, and didn't charge me for it.) At 6pm, he called to say that my car was done and he would wait after closing if I wanted to pick it up immediately, which I did. He showed me what they'd fixed and explained some things to me, and then gave me the bill--which was LESS than the estimate!

Norm rocks. I'm not taking my car anywhere else.

5 Stars Norm? Is that all? Couldn't you find a way to add a star or two to  your name? I can't believe this. Every single reviewer gave you 5 stars?

Well since 35 people plus gave you that high of a rating, why am I wasting my time here? If anybody goes through all your reviews and still does not think that you are not the greatest auto engineer (notice I did not say mechanic) on the planet, then they have a warped sense of reality and really think that there is something better than near perfection. (even 5 star people are not perfect ya know)

Norm, all I want to say is thank you for almost 20 years of terrific service. You are a gentleman, you always tell the customer his options, and try to repair my car in a manner that takes into account price, the age of my car, and making sure that it is fixed correctly the first time without ever having to return for the same problem.

Yes people, with Norm, you not only get a brilliant person when it comes to cars, but you get a man that is honest. Oh....yes, there was that sad Saturday afternoon that I thought the muffler went out. You were closed of course. (you just started closing on Saturdays luck!!) So I pulled into that crook down the block from you. "Sorry you need two new catalytic converters" How much I asked. "About $900". I drove out of his lot, parked the car in back of your shop, waited a half an hour for the bus, and then another half an hour for the other bus. I called you first thing Monday in the AM and you told me you would call me when you looked it over. Less than a half an hour later you called and said come and said it's ready.....and it's $31.50. Huh? "You didn't need any catalytic converters."  It was one rusty and broken clamp that connected the tailpipe to either the muffler or converter. Wow..!! So OK everyone.....did I mention that Norm is honest???? lol

Just to be fair, Joe, your brother should not be left out of the equation. He really does make a difference. So thanks to you too Joe for your help from time to time.

Bottom line. I don't care where you live, it is always worth the drive to get your car repaired at Norm's. Thanks again for all of the great years of service. You set the standard as to how a auto repair shop should be.

Norm's great service nearly rendered me speechless.  I visited him based on his flawless Yelp rating and was not disappointed.  Every time I spoke with the garage, it was Norm himself on the phone.  He's a very personable guy who seems happy to be doing business with his customers.  My car was dropped off after closing time and by 8:30 A.M. THE NEXT DAY (!!!) he had my problem diagnosed.  Incredible!  I had a relatively basic repair and my car was ready in just a few hours.  I was able to pick my car up after closing time, too.  Norm was incredibly accommodating in regard to receiving my payment.  Norm's demeanor and the ease of dropping of/picking up my vehicle ensures that I will visit him again if I or my wife ever need another car repair.  I unhesitatingly recommend Norm's to anyone who can make it to his part of town.  One of the best, if not the best, auto garages I've ever been to.

UPDATE: This is not enough to make me change my rating, but it might affect your opinion.  The second time I went to Norm's, I went in to the shop in person rather than dropping my car off at night and handling the transaction over the phone.  Doing it this way was pretty confusing and complicated.  No one seemed to know what to do with me when I walked in--everyone I talked to seemed confused by my arrival, presence, and communication.  Maybe they're just not used to walk-ins.  Still, Norm's will continue to be my #1 auto shop.

UPDATE #2: Another visit to Norm's and my bill was ONE-THIRD what my dealer would've charged me.  And once again I had great customer service.  Amazing!  Norm's rules!

This is THE PLACE to get your car serviced.  No BS and fair pricing.  Norm actually shows you what the problem is and doesn't do any unnecessary work to inflate the bill.  It is a great joy to find a honest reliable mechanic like Norm.

Wow!!! Every time I check this site, Norm and Joe piled on a few more 5 star reviews. I am going to jump on the band wagon. I am so happy I found them. When I moved into the area, iIsaw this place. I thought it would be great to have a place close to home. I drive an older car, it needs repair. A few friends and co workers used them as well. I have never had any problems, disappointments, or wrong advise. They give you confidence in driving an older car. You will be taken care of. I have been going for 5 years. I hope they don't get too busy!!!
