This has changed a great deal since it moved from the old fire house into the sugar shack. That said I'm glad that someone has taken over housing this important part of arlington's history. If you're passing though this area you should stop and see the exhibit, if for no other reason than it is truly unique to the area.

I am a recent Move to Vermonter. I and my Wife recently purchased an historic small Cottage /Cabin House near Arlington, Vermont built 1938 -1940. Quite near the Norman Rockwell area here, I very much enjoy the Rockwell history. Visit this and any Norman Rockwell sites in Vermont.

I love this place. They have it all, I went here to see Norman Rockwell exibition which is great to see and Sugar Shack are the same, they have a gift shop, a bakery/candy shop and they make high quality Maple Syrup since they have their own evaporator on-site and sell at a low price compared to others in the area. I highly recommend this place to everyone and upcoming artists paying tribute to Norman Rockwell.

Cute little art/museum for ol' Norman. If you say you just want to look in the gift shop, it's free. It's all you need to see anyhow. You can get some nice re-prints of his artwork here. Cards and calendars and the like.
