We first stumbled upon Noon O Kabab when we were in the Albany Park area viewing condos, which stirred up the ol' appetites. I could not have been more in the mood for Persian. Since then, we've been back several times, most recently this past Saturday evening.

The restaurant was almost full, but it still felt homey instead of crowded. Our service was great and the food was, as always, delicious! We've been ordering a lot of the same the past few times we've gone (dolmehs for apps, ghormeh sabzi for me, combo kababs for the fella.)

This time, we ordered the olovieh, a Persian potato salad. It was interesting, but I think my heart belongs to the dolmehs. For entrees, I had to go kabab...meat on a stick (minus the stick)? Sign me up! I got a ground chicken and a ground lamb, both enjoyable. I'm also not a huge rice fan, but the dill rice they're accompanied with is freakishly good. My husband got the ground sirloin, and I have to say, I liked that one the best.

Normally, we go across the street to get our baklava fix, but we were just too stuffed this time around.

Noon O Kabab is a nice establishment that offers you healthy and nourishing food.

A friend and I rode our bikes here and we were treated very nicely during a busy lunch.

They have a menu full of good stuff, but it seems like going with what you know is your best bet. We started out with Hummus, then ordered a grand feast. This consisted of some tabouleh and a mix of all their grilled meats. The meats were very juicy and full of flavor. You get a generous helping of rice and grilled vegetables.

I cant recall why, but I didnt find the dill rice as great as many others have.

Overall, Noon O Kabab offers up some great kababs, flavorful sides, and a nice atmosphere all around. I wasn't blown away, but they still have some excellent food at reasonable prices.

I've only ever picked up food here - never dined in. However, delicious, flavorful, huge portions. Wraps are especially gigantic!

Not knowing how to pronounce some of the words on the menu, we were literally scoffed at the first time we ordered, which wasn't the greatest customer service but whatever.

The pitas were a little dry the last time we got food there, but it can't be totally perfect every time, right?

All in all, a really solid place with tasty food.

Love the Lamb Shank here than any other place I've been.

Also love the starter plate they give you with feta, radish, onion and parsley. The feta is soo good, not sure if they make them inhouse.

Pita bread plentiful and always warm when delivered.

Really good Persian food. I had the lamb shank and it was delicious. Love that they give you a pita pocket as well as way more rice than one person can eat in one meal. I'll be back to try more dishes.

I love this place. The atmosphere here is nice and the food is fantastic. I love the lamb shank here. I also have tried their kababs (lamb, beef, chicken), and loved them.
    Atmosphere:
Nice atmosphere. nice decorations on the wall.
    Food:
Love the food. Lamb shank was really soft and the sauce that was with it was great. Also gives an abundance of rice and a grilled tomato.
    Price:
Sort pricey but well worth it. I'd say the dishes are probably around the $15 dollar mark.
    Service:
Service was great. I never really had to wait that long for a table, even when it was busy. waitresses were nice and attentive.
    Overall:
I would probably say that this is one of the places in Chicago I can keep going to and not get sick and tired of going to. The food and service are great and it has a nice feel to it.

What a great place, the food is amazing and SO plentiful- and seriously what a deal, spend $30 and get a bottle of wine?!! BONUS- had the steak and shrimp, with dill rice. Incredibly tasty.
Mega food, super good food, good atmosphere, what an eclectic group of patrons. Super nice waitress.

I never in a million years thought I could wake up craving Persian food. I mean, normally I wake up craving chocolate or cinnamon toast crunch. But Persian food?

So that's why I knew something was up Sunday morning when I woke up with a distinct desire for more Persian food. And Monday morning too. In fact I think this desire is going to plague me until I get back to Noon O Kabab (or Noonzies Kababzoes, as the locals refer to it.)

This restaurant is DELICIOUS. My favorites include the olovieh, the kash-ke-bademjam, and the combo filet/chicken skewer. My mouth is watering right now just thinking about it.

Also, I was quite excited to try the stuffed pepper appetizers, but they had run out because it was a busy night, and the woman who makes them came to our table and apologized profusely and then insisted on making at least six of them for me to pick up another day at my convenience for no charge. And she said if I couldn't get in the next day, she would just freeze them for me. It's so nice to go to a restaurant where the owners actually care about having happy clientele.

Noon O Kabab was one of the first cases of the show "Check Please" completely ruining an establishment.  It is virtually impossible to get a meal in under two hours on the weekends now and the prices have gone up as the quality has gone down.

The Eastern European (huh?) waitresses speak barely a lick of English and are almost as good at ignoring you as the incredibly rude hostesses.  The last time I went (and I do mean LAST time, as in last time I will ever step foot in the place) my small party and I were unable to decipher who our main server was for the entirety of our NEARLY 4 HOUR ORDEAL of a meal.  Not to mention the fact I was chided like a school kid for daring to ask one of the hostesses exactly who was supposed to be serving our table.

The food was... forgettable compared to the horrid service.  Not terrible, but certainly not worth the abuse we endured.

"Check Please", please stay home.  You are ruining too many good eateries in this city.

Ahh, Noon O Kabab, where were you when I was living in Chicago?!?!

You are the greatest! What's not to love about this place?!? HUGE portions, great customer service and the overall restaurant appearance is not too shabby.

Your dill rice is "spot on."  Your lamb kabob meat is oh so tender and perfectly seasoned and what's not to love about your hummus platter?

My boyfriend and I were in town visitng friends and family and thoroughly enjoyed our lunch there as we were famished from our plane ride to the city a few hours prior.  Keep it up and I hope you stay in business long enough so that when we return, we look forward to dining at your fine restaurant again! :)

This place is pretty decent if you want Middle Eastern food and somewhat of an upscale experience. Waits here can get pretty long so be forewarned.

Anything here that has meat is pretty darn tasty. The best thing about this place is any of their meat. The rice I think is kind of bland. I'm normally not a huge fan of rice to begin with so it has to have the tumeric or saffron or it's unpalatable in my opinion.

Service here is usually decent, although slow depending on how busy it is. They do try and do a good job on moving people along when there is a wait.

It is pretty pricey, which drops it down a star or two, but if you want upscale Middle Eastern, I'd try here or Kan Zaman.

Overpriced meat and rice.  Some vegetable dishes.  Nothing terribly exciting here, but be prepared to spend close to $100 for two people (including drinks).

Service was prompt and polite; no criticisms there.  But the food was not up to scratch.

Watch out... seriously.  This is the kind of place that sneaks up on you.  You go the first time and think, "Well that place was pretty good... I'd like to go back and try that dish the people at the table next to us were eating."  And then you do go back and try that dish and think, "Wow, that was pretty awesome, but now I want to try that one with the rice with all the cool stuff..." and you do go back and have it.  Next thing you know you're addicted to the place.

This is the kind of place you take someone you want to impress.  Almost every table is filled which is something to say because Noon O Kabab isn't downtown, it's way up on Kedzie.

The seasoning on the meat is always perfect, no matter what you've ordered!  The rice is something that you end up dreaming about.  The service is fantastic.  Also, I've recently learned that they make a real mean cocktail!  I recommend cabbing it up there so you can thoroughly enjoy!

I saw the Hungry Hound on channel 7 review this restauran back in January and have been dying to go ever since.

We started out with the hummus and baba ganoush appetizers. So fresh and wonderful, I especially loved the decorative kalamata olives in the middle of the appetizers. It makes me wonder why I buy the hummus from Target. My main meal was the chicken kebab w/ dill rice, grilled tomato and a lemon wedge. I don't know what they did to that chicken, but I dreamt of it last night. Here is how to eat it, take a forkful of the chicken w/ lemon squirted on it then a small amount of feta and a little piece of raw onion. Shove it in your mouth and be prepared for greatness.

On our way out yesterday we saw someone eating chicken wings in I think a pomegrante sauce. Can't wait to return.

The first time, a friend brought me here. The second time, I brought friends. Now those friends are already clamoring to go back.

The atmosphere, food, and service are all top-notch. The extensive menu  satisfies carnivores and vegetarians alike, and the fact that it's Persian means some nice changes from the typical Middle Eastern fare that's usually served up, although you will find the familiar hummus and baba ganouj (both delicious). The Adass Pollo was heaven, and you have to try the spicy mango gelato if it's available. The most difficult thing is choosing, but the appetizers make it easy for you to try a number of delicious flavors in addition to your main meal, and the entree portions are large enough for sharing. They have a dine-in special through Dec 31 where you can get a free appetizer or bottle of wine with your meal (check their website for the coupon).

I have previously only got take out from these guys and always really liked the hummus but never really ate full meals. Well, I dined in their restaurant last night and I will definitely be back.

This is really pretty straight forward food for the uninitiated. A lot of Kabobs and a lot of just straight meats with sides. Nothing too exotic.

I had the cornish game hen and it was awesome!! Highly recommend that. My brother got some split between lamb shank and beef and everything was cooked to perfection.

It was a Thursday and we were there early so there was no need for reservations but there were a few people there which not a lot of restaurants can't say for a Thursday at 7:00 which with all the other similar options in the neighborhood, is a good sign. This leads me to believe that it can get crowded on the weekends.

They do serve beer and other alcohol.

Everything is high quality, cooked well and reasonably priced.

I love this restaurant.  I really like to try new places, so there are few restaurants I visit repeatedly and frequently, but Noon O Kabab has quickly become a standby.  It is perfect for almost any occasion- date night, casual dinner with friends, family in town, etc.

The food is fantastic.  I have tried many of the kebab plates, and am constantly amazed at how juicy the meat is, perfectly seasoned and with a slight char on the outside to build a more complex flavor.  The chicken, ribeye and salmon kabobs are my favorites.  The appetizers are also wonderful, particularly the out of this world baba ganoush (the best I've had) and hummus.  And while it may seem a bit silly to mention rice, the rice here is amazing- so fluffy and with a saffron accent; it is the perfect complement to the kebabs, absorbing their juices and becoming even more delicious.

And then there are the tomatoes.  A charred tomato comes as a garnish on every kebab plate.  They are so amazing you can order extras in sets of 2 or 6.  At $2 for six extra tomatoes, it is an amazing deal, healthy and packed with so much flavor I can't imagine a better "side" to the kebabs and rice.  They're perfect.

The one negative comment I have could just be personal preference, but I do find the baked desserts to be a bit too sweet.  One or two bites of any are the most I can eat.  That said, the ice creams are devine, particularly the strawberry and chocolate mint, which seem to have only the slightest amount of sugar acting as the perfect balance to the cream and highlighted ingredients.

The portions are also very large.  My husband and I often will split a two skewer kebab plate.  Particularly with an appetizer, this is plenty of food for us for dinner or a late lunch, and 9 times out of 10 we have enough left over for a second meal for each of us.  I've read in some Yelp reviews that other places are cheaper, but when you consider that you could get four meals out of a $16 plate, that's a fairly unbeatable value.

First, please allow me to get this out: The food here is DE-LICIOUS!!!!

Okay, thanks. Now moving on to the review *clears throat*...

I've been wanting to eat here for some time. It's right off the Kedzie brownline stop so I'd always see it while passing it on the el. I'm part Middle-eastern so I always appreciate it when I find a good Middle-eastern restaurant. This place is Persian, though. But close enough for me. Sorry, too much backstory, I know...

Point is, the food here was on point. Meat and chicken were tender, juicy, flavorful (man I am craving it all over again just thinking about it).... the rice was perfect (I had the dill rice, my significant other had the white-- both were scrumptous)

Ordered hummus for an appetizer. Like I said, I'm part Middle-eastern, so I know good hummus when I taste it, and this was good hummus! Bread was warm, cut in convenient little triangles.

We went there for lunch and it was packed! (there's a free parking lot by the way.... though street parking is fairly easy) This was at around 2-ish. After standing awkwardly by the door for five minutes, and then moving inward towards the "waiting area" I guess you could call it, we were finally seated. The service was friendly and fast, despite how busy they seemed to be. Best of all, the owner (I think he was the owner?), this jolly fellow, asked us if it was our first time there, to which we replied "why, yes, sir, it actually is!" and so he said, "by golly! we have some new comers! well, you must receive special treatment for joining us today!" Five minutes later he gives us a 3-part platter with 3 different appetizers. So that was really nice. And those appetizers were very tasty indeed.

The place has a warm, comfy feel. Nice decor and cozy set-up. The only thing lacking was a touch of background music... though the hum of coversation that hovered as we enjoyed the deliciousness that was our meal..... gave it a nice, communal feeling. You'd think all that chatter  would be annoying, but for some reason it surprisingly wasn't. I've been places where the chatter-filled ambience is unbearable. But I suppose because this place isn't huge, the volume factor was pretty controlled. And anyway, who knows, maybe their speakers were down that day or something. Either way, that was just a minor observation... one that did not deteriorate our experience one bit.

Do go there. I will, again, definitely.

    Happy eating!

This is another one of my family favorites, especially on the "tanned skin" side of the family(hah, i go to the beach without sunblock) - so you know this restaurant is authentic. Like many of the Middle eastern restaurants, the portions are huge - but lets talk about the flavors that stick on the taste buds and stay in the brain for what seems forever.
Meat marinated to perfection; the shish and chicken will have you asking for extra napkins for your saliva. Oh, and it's tender too. My favorite addition to the meat is the rice, Basmati rice, saffron rice, dill rice, whatever rice you order is WOW. Pounds and pounds of Basmati rice seems to fill the plate, and pounds and pounds seem to leave the restaurant when we're done. It's all that good. Finish it off with some hot tea - it is the perfect complement to the 5 lbs of love you just consumed. The tea is a special blend that is so outstanding, i haven't been able to find it anywhere else, even Teavana throws their hands up on this one.
I remember when this place was a hidden hole in the wall gem. Now it's expanded in the last number of years, but hasn't lost it's touch. Whether you go or not is up to you, if not, its just less time I have to wait to get in!

Best Middle Eastern food I've had ever!

Luckily I live close by :)

I recommend the POMEGRANATE WINGS as your appetizer and if you're on a budget like me, I also recommend sharing the Noon O Three because it's huge.

If you have room for dessert, they're chocolate hazelnut bastani (Persian Gelato) is yummy!

I also suggest if you can take public transportaion (i.e. Brown Line) do it because parking is just bad.

...my new favorite restaurant.  Wonderful space, excellent, high quality cuisine, lovely staff (nice Polish girl helped us), Lebonese wine that was really nice....great prices.  I cannot wait to return and try another dish.  I want to try everything on the menu.  Right off the Brown line too!  Yeaaaa.  A perfectly unique and neighborly space. Some table spaces are more Familyish, some more girlfriendy, some spaces would be downright romantic. Everyone should go.  Yes, this is one reason why I like it so much it easily can be the right space and meal for so many occassions.  I think I'll take mom next time she's in town.

I think it would be a lovely place for a group gathering too.

This place, El Nuevo Mexicano, and Duke of Perth...and Nomi are now my faves in Chicago.

We walked in at 6:25 and were told the usual " it will be only 15 minutes".
We finally made it to the table at 7:40... You do the math...
For me that's unacceptable and it can really ruin a night out.

Very good Persian food. I especially like the bread and the goodies that come with it  - parsley, radishes, other greens, and cheese. The kash-ke-bademjan appetizer was memorable - roasted eggplant pureed with onion, garlic, mint, and kask (aged dried yogurt) topped with caramelized onions. The bomieh dessert and tea are great!

    Sheeesh kabob!

Everyone has a weakness and/or hankering for a particular type of food.
In my case, it seems to be Middle Eastern/Mexican. Whether I end up finishing my plate or leave a lil bit for later, I never feel guilty or gluttonous about what I've just consumed.

There are plenty of fast food/dine-in Middle Eastern joints around my area, but this place is worth the trip. Their delivery service is great, but I opted to dine in during lunch time. The decor is beautiful and simple; white tablecloths line the tables with a slightly dimmed lighting. It ain't no fast food joint, that's for sure!

My foodie-in-crime ordered the Soltani (Juicy marinated filet mignon & ground sirloin) & for muah.. the Joujeh combo (charbroiled chkn breast & seasoned chkn breast).

While we waited for our entrees, we noshed on the fresh, warm pita bread with a plate of fresh herbs, radishes, and feta cheese. Delicious! The wait staff was decent. Our waiter looked a bit nervous, but he was friendly nonetheless.

Yes...the price at this joint is a bit steep, but lemme tell ya, it's worth every penny. They do it right, all the ingredients are fresh and perfectly marinated and seasoned, and the portions are generous. I love the meat & poultry here. It's not overly salty and everything is so tender that you can cut your meat with a fork. The dill rice is something I've never tried at other Persian restaurants. It's a wonderful surprise.

I grab a little piece of Pita, cut a small piece of grilled tomato, and pieces of chkn with dill rice, and pop some feta cheese into the mix..and voila!!! You get one wicked pita sammy :)

I can't believe I have not reviewed this place yet.  Pretty much one of my favorite spots in Chicago.  We've been going here for about 5 years now - and always making it my birthday dinner destination.  We've brought family, friends, visitors from out of town.  Persian food is one of my favorite cuisines, and I love everything about Noon O Kabab.  Nice casual, elegant atmosphere, prompt and friendly service, and great food. I consider myself to be a baba ghannouj snob, and theirs is definitely top notch.  The saffron rice, the pita and feta, the Persian tea with the cute little sugar cubes....it's heaven!  (Great place to bring  vegetarian friends too).

It has become my favorite restaurant.. A perfect one in every respect taste, service, quantity, price, ambience.. As great as a restaurant can be.. This time I ordered Lamb shank and koubideh.. Totally consistent with my last visit.. I have rarely had such a good meat anywhere else.. As I have mentioned, dissolving in mouth..
This time I tried Persian tea.. Nice aromatic refreshment after the food.. Worth trying!
In all, as expected a fantastic experience!

Came here on Saturday with a huge party. Service was a bit awkward at first but that was just a hiccup. Soon after everything was fantastically awesome. Service great, food great. The lady, who I think was an owner, even offered to get us cabs home. Great place.

I'm gonna go ahead and say this is one of my Top 5 favorite restaurants in Chicago

Why is that you may ask?

The food is spot on.  Every time I have been here, I have always left wanting more.  I always make sure to start with an order of Hummus, which comes nicely topped with olive oil and sliced olives.  The plate looks beautiful and is the perfect compliment for the pita when you are waiting to place your order.

My experience has been phenomenal when ordering entrees.  I have yet to come across a dish I dislike.  The chicken is juicy and lean, the Chenjeh (Choice Rib Eye) is grilled to perfection, and the rice is extremely tasty.  I highly suggest going for one of the combination entrees, so that you can sample a few different meats.  You can make a combination plate out of any of the meats: Chicken, beef or lamb.

The food here is extremely healthy.  The meat is never salty, and the hummus is made fresh.  When I leave I feel full and happy, unlike some other restaurants where I leave full and hurting.  As long as you don't down all the rice, you shouldn't feel too bad!

I do have to say that for dinner, the prices are a little out of my liking.  I like kabobs and I enjoy meat so most of the time I will order two skewers.  Combine that with the hummus and I'm pretty quickly over $20.

Regardless of the cost, my love for Noon-O-Kabob is strong.  The staff does an alright job, the food is INCREDIBLE, it's pretty healthy, and the price isn't too bad.

Having Noon-O is like having a wild card in your pocket that no one is aware of.  It's a gem of a restaurant and you won't be let down.  I highly recommend this restaurant to all of my friends.

If I had five wishes granted to me, one of them might be that I lived around the corner from this restaurant so I could eat there more often.

I've eaten and gotten take out from Noon a few times.  I thought I'd write a review after my most recent take-out experience to share how good this place is.

I haven't eaten at Noon for a few years (arggh my little kids) so when they paper bombed our 'hood I gave 'em a call.

The baba ganoush appetizer, just perfect.

The shrimp, filet, ground beef kebabs, delicious.

    The dill rice, great.

    The tiramisu, solid.

One tip I'd make for the take-out crowd, get the baba ganoush, two kebabs and one rice that's perfect for two people.  The rice portions are so big you only need one for 2-3 people.

It's good... Basic and a little over priced in my opinion... But the food was solid and tasty. The hummus was standard. Dolma was a bit different than I've had before, but still good. I went with co workers who loved it. The atmosphere was great. It was pretty crowded for lunch on a Wednesday and I've walked by at night and it's always packed. Plus the restaurant is decorated beautifully, too.

Back for another fantastic authentic Persian meal just a week later, on a Sunday.  Ordered the same thing (naaah, we're not boring people at all).  Well, we did order Mast-o-Khiar (yogurt with cucumber) this time - delicious with our Barg and Chengeh.  In seventh heaven with the zulbia, bomieh and tea.

This time we added a takeout order of Gheimeh Bademjan (lamb, eggplant and yellow split pea stew topped with string fries) for the next day.  It was SO delicious, right on the money.  Hubby-verified authentic Persian.  The eggplant came skinned and whole in this dish (some places serve it chopped up).  Tons of fragrant rice, a good serving of the stew, along with pita bread and sabzi.  My Chengeh leftovers heated up very well and sooo tasty.

There's a separate takeout shop next door past the the parking lot, so you can just get your mouthwatering food to go too.  Everything was so well packaged, you really can't go wrong here.  But I highly recommend a restaurant visit.

While nothing will beat Hubby's grandma's home cooking, this is a very excellent substitute.  Travel tip:  when you're in the SF Bay Area looking for Persian food - we highly recommend Alborz in SF for upscale, and Rose Market in Mountainview for the cheapest tastiest takeout lunches.

Ok Im not going in to specifics because if you read other reviews you will see most of their plates are all thumbs up, heres what I will write, it was my first time there, the owner came up to us asked if it was our first time there, we said "yessshirr" he responded by bringing us a complimentary plate of appetizers for us to try and it was super delicious, those small things go long ways in establishing a good connection with your clientele. Of course to back up that experience the food was on point, price was right, and belly was satisfied. go there a must!

When you walk into Noon O Kabab you will notice, right away, that it is a beautiful and bright restaurant.

The food is fine, but, left me wanting more.  I ordered a combination plate that had a serving of grilled chicken (that was perfectly seasoned) and also grilled sirloin with an order of white rice.

The meats are soft, have spice and are delicious.  However, the meal overall was missing something.  Maybe a sauce or vegetable to compliment the taste of meat and rice.

In the end, I enjoyed my dining experience and you will too. Enjoy!

I heard great things about this place, and I was won over by the amount of vegetarian options, especially that they had vegetarian Ash-e-reshteh (Persian vegetable/noodle soup), which is one of my favorites, and it's hard to find a meatless version in restaurants.  I liked that the menu was full of traditional Persian dishes, not just Middle Eastern dishes with a splash of pomegranate sauce - a lot of diners associate Persian cuisine with the Middle East, when really it has a lot more in common with northern Indian/Pakastani cuisine.

We started with the ash-e-reshteh, which was seemed  light but was a surprisingly filling soup.  We also ordered the kashke badimijan (roasted eggplant), dolmeh (stuffed grape leaves), and shirin polo (rice with pistachios, raisins barberry & carrots) with pomegrante mushrooms.  The food was all amazing - especially the complex flavor combos. The were served in a spicy tomato sauce, which was a perfect complement to the not-spicy rice stuffing inside.  The flavor combo of the shirin polo was an interesting contrast between the sweet raisins and tart barberries, and tasted even better when I mixed in the spicy roasted eggplant.  The servings were large, so we ended up taking half the food home, and unfortunately didn't have room for dessert. Next time I'll leave room because I'd love to try the Persian gelato - flavors like fig/date, saffron with rosewater, and chocolate hazelnut.

The service was friendly, attentive, and fast, from the host who seated us to the server. Our server asked us if we'd like him to explain any menu items or give recommendations, and was perfectly okay when we said we were fine choosing things on our own.  All in all, this was a great dinner out.

We went to Noon O Kabab with a group of 8 guys for a friends graduation dinner.  I had never heard of the place but my friend S wanted all of us to try it, so we gave it a go.  They have a parking lot in the back and you can easily find street parking in this area if aforementioned lot is full.  We walked in and upon first glance, it seemed like a regular neighborhood restaurant: nothing too fancy and pretty basic decor.  We were seated promptly by the friendly wait staff and I proceeded to order an Efes Pilsner, a Turkish beer, mainly because I like beer.

For our appetizers, we ordered a Hummus, Baba Ghannouj, and a Persian Salad.  The hummus was good although a tad heavy on the olive oil.  The Baba Ghannouj was spectacular!  You could taste the roasted eggplant and it was delectable.  The salad was, well, a salad.

I had a tough time decided what my main course would be.  I had just worked out and I was hungry and wanted to try every meat on the menu!  I consulted my friend S who had been here before and he recommended the lamb.  I ended up getting the Lamb Kabob and Koubideh (ground sirloin) and I was not disappointed.  the lamb was juicy and really flavorful.  I enjoyed the ground sirloin even more than the lamb and I attribute that to the texture of the sirloin.  I tried a friend's chicken, which was decent, but I wouldn't order it at a Persian restaurant unless I had dietary restrictions.  I came to the conclusion that they really know how to handle their meat at this restaurant!  My meal came with a side of dill rice and some tomatoes, which added a nice omnivorous touch to the platter.

We finished our meal off with a round of tea for the table, which was allright as well.  The bill came and at average of 15 dollars a platter, the price was right.  I would definitely recommend this place to someone who was looking for some authentic Persian fare at a reasonable price.

Get the Lamb Shank and Sirloin combo.  It's ridiculous-good.  They bring out the lamb shank in this bowl, and it's sitting in a pool of it's own delicious meat juice.  The meat falls right off the bone.  I mixed up some of the juice with the dill rice, tomato and a little piece of the sirloin.  Taste bud explosion!

Also had the Pomegranate Mushrooms for an appetizer.  Definitely a unique taste.  I've never had mushrooms like that before, but they were quite scrumptious!

Service was pretty decent despite the fact that my family and i went there on Wednesday night around 8 and it was packed!

Love that they give you free feta and radishes to start (as well as raw onion, but I can't handle that)
