very Parisian!!!!!! it's a great store...the neighborhood it's in just adds to its coolness :) walking in the rain through dirty streets in brooklyn, full of constructions and near the river (if i remember correctly..) made me feel like i'm back in paris. and inside i found MAJE and virginie castaway's stuff. :)

even though i didn't buy anything in there last time i was there, i'll check it out again. what's also great about this place is that they have an online boutique so even if you don't live in nyc you can still shop there and look chic. :)

Walking into Noisette is very much like walking into a boutique in Paris, which was clearly the proprietor's intent. The decor is charming, with a green lounge chair, rustic wood display tables, and a moody portrait of a girl with headphones on the back wall. The clothes are predominantly European lines, with a heavy dose of bohemian chic. A small selection of shoes and rugged leather goods provides a nice complement to the floaty pieces, so you can pull together an interesting, Frenchified look here. The one thing the owner seems to have left out of the Parisian mix? Attitude - she's very nice and helpful.

I have heard of this place for a year now. And finally checked it out on a rainy day. I first checked their website like I do with everything now a days. And loved the styles! The women who owns this store has a great eye.  She picks pieces that are funky enough to stand out in your wardrobe as well as some classic Parisian pieces. She was very nice and patient . I will come back for special occasions or a wonderful sale.

i bought a coat here for around 720 last year. i found that online it was much cheaper, i was sad but okay with that because i really liked the coat. But then half of my buttons on the coat fell off in a month of gentle wearing. I also lost the belt which was entirely my fault and called the store to ask if they could possibly order one for me. the girl who answered the phone said sure and that she would leave a message for the owner. i never got a call back, and when i called again and asked the same question, the owner just said no and hung up on me. Im okay with a no, but what she did was so incredibly rude. all i got in the end was a coat that fell apart, and rude service. considering their selection and etc, there is no reason to ever going back, there are much better options in the neighborhood. I hope this place closes down so it can make room for better shops. SHOO STORE!! AWAY WITH YOU!! BOOOOO
