Came here on my trip to Seattle a few months ago. It was so good! The inside was really cute, made me crave going to the beach on a rainy, gloomy Seattle afternoon.
I ordered the coconut mojito. Might be one of the best mojitos I've ever had. Very sweet and creamy. I don't remember what the burger I had was called, but it was really good as well! My boyfriend, who isn't vegan, enjoyed what he had as well. The only complaint he had was that the bloody mary tasted a little weird--I tried it and he wasn't wrong. Everything else was excellent though.
Service was great! Friendly and quick. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a laid-back vegan place with great food. Once this pandemic dies down and I'm able to go back to Seattle, I'd love to try this place again!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nov 30, 2019
Okay, here's the thing, I love meat. I came here for my friends birthday because she loves the food, and i was honestly really impressed. I'll admit, the texture of tofu and tempeh threw me off a little, but the flavor was amazing! No Bones is the BEST place to try vegan food if you're new to the plant-based life. My bagel tasted just like a regular everything bagel, the tofu scramble had great flavor, and the tempeh "bacon" was sweet and spicy! Paired with potatoes you can't go wrong.
Even if you think vegan isn't for you...give it a try! At the very least, you can grab a delicious cocktail.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0Business owner information

After 3 years of hearing my vegetarian and meat-eating friends alike rave over this place, I picked an easy Friday lunch to try it out myself. They were on to something.
Firstly, every month No Bones chooses an animal charity to support. I loved ordering food knowing I was doing good for animals in need. I so appreciated they could do this while still having regular Seattle prices.
Then there's the food itself. Absolutely delicious. The huevos were like a better seasoned chiliquiles. The tofu crumbled on top was amazing. The guac on the side tied everything together nicely. Come to find out, it was all on a bed of spinach which actually worked and was a great surprise. Even the hashbrowns were well seasoned and crisp. I raved about this meal to anyone who would listen for the next week. Totally worth whatever they charged. I'm already planning a return trip.
A well-earned 5 stars. I couldn't think of a single thing they could have improved.
Note: The space is a bit small. Keep that in mind if you plan on having a big group or go during a time when it's particularly busy, like the weekend.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

From food truck to beach club, this is a great place for plant based recipes that tries not only to decrease the animal consumption, but also supports local animal sanctuaries.
Their vegan menu is locally sourced and seasonally inspired. They also have soy free and gluten free offerings.
For the bites, the "crab cakes" were delicious. The Chesapeake Bay- style parsnip and veggie cakes are fried golden brown and served with a drizzle of garlicky sauce. Not as big a fan of the coastal chowder which was heavy on the potatoes and carrots and could have used a bit more mushrooms and seasoning.
The Beer Battered Crispy Fried Avocado Tacos were great. Loaded with a creamy cilantro slaw, tomatoes and a smoky chipotle aioli, they were perfectly paired with tortilla chips and tomatillo avocado salsa. The Jackfruit Flautas were also good.
Thanks to our server, Jessie, for a great family dinner. There was a wait on a Sunday night, but not too long. They also have locations in Portland and Chicago.Helpful 23Thanks 0Love this 25Oh no 0Business owner information

I've been wanting to try this place for a while
And I was not disappointed! I wish I could have tried everything on the menu because it's that good and the variety is perfect! Best vegan restaurant I've ever been too. I went with two friends and we did family style... order a bunch of food and shared it. We had the jack fruit flautas, beet poke, tempeh cesar salad and the beyond burger. Everything we ate was on point and honestly I can't wait to go back. Their service was amazing as well. No issues splitting the bill either they made it very easy. We also overstayed... didn't even realize they had closed, we were lost in conversation and they were super sweet about it. Even let us stay a little longer.
I have no doubt I will be a regular at this place. I heard the drinks were good too but I did not indulge on this occasion.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Sep 30, 2019
What a fun little tiki bar in Ballard! Their decor is great, their menu very inventive. I eat vegetarian but not full vegan and was able to find menu items that looked good to me. I went with a beyond meat burger and it was so good I couldn't believe it! The whole burger looked awesome and tasted delicious, the fries were nice and spicy in seasoning too.
Their drink menu is great and there are a lot of local beers and ciders on tap. Street parking wasn't too hard to find. Service was however pretty slow.
In all I did enjoy my food and the atmosphere enough that I will surely be back! The nachos are on my list to try next time.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

No bones? NO PROBLEM!
While I am not a true Vegan, any person can appreciate the sheer delicious food that No Bones Beach Club serves up.
PROS:
Good menu - good eats
Fun tiki decor and old surf videos playing on the TVs
Some outdoor patio space
Staff is friendly
CONS:
Happy Hour is only on specific days?
Food can take quite a long time to get out depending on crowd
Pricing is a touch high - but you are also getting quality food. Pretty standard.
Coconut Mojito: While delicious, it tasted too much of lime and had a sour quality to it overpowering some of the drink. It wasn't bad or off-putting, just not what I was expecting.
Stuffed Poblano: This thing was huge! And quite tasty. My only qualm was that it was A LOT of white beans. It needed that crunch of the poblano to off set all of the soft components of the dish. I wish it had some soy chorizo or something other than the jackfruit. But that's just me.
All in all, certainly recommend stopping in.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0Business owner information

Hey, I can't refuse a mountain of nachos with great toppings. And having had jackfruit for the first time in my life I was impressed! A great shredded pork substitute for sure. Thumbs up.
I tried the dynamite roll and that was not great for me.It was dense and greasy, which is the opposite of what you'd expect from a dynamite roll. Pass...
The drink that I loved was the passion fruit jalepeno Margarita which had this subtle heat with each sip that totally elevated the drink.
The decor is fun and bright, there's a reason this place is so busy! Lots of vegan options plus great drinks.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Priceeeeeyyyyyy! Man o man! But it is quite tasty! Gotta give them that.
To get a volcano sushi roll sans fish! Genius level creation right there. Even my non seafood eating hubby loved it and has been looking up fishless sushi roll ideas ever since hahaha! I am a pescatarian so I was missing the protein and texture of the fish but they did what they intended to do with that one and I'm all for it.
The bahn dot com bahn mi was also delicious. Just needed more of the protein to match the ratio of bread and veggies.
Definitely will be back when in the area- just maybe not too often because of the price point for each item.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

I won't be too harsh but I wish I could give this place a 3.5.
First time here I had the mac n cheese balls and they were amazing. Then I tried the crab cakes which were awful (way too salty), and the fried avocado taco which was tasty but soggy, and only came with 1 corn tortilla.
I guess some people like this style of food, I think it's hit or miss, but the place definitely has a great atmosphere, and superb service.
Editing to knock off a star and add: I entered my review before getting the check, and that got me to knock off a star. Sitting at the bar, I got my total without a breakdown of my check, and the bartender tapped on the 20% tip as she was handing me the machine to complete my payment. I was gonna tip her that much, but I didn't care for the assumption.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0
