Crystal and Joe are extremely professional and kind. I heard about them through a friend whose flowers turned out beautifully. Throughout the consultation process they have been very knowledgeable and willing to work within my budget and helped me to pick flowers that would be in season and within cost, while keeping the look I am going for.
Just be advised the google map has the wrong cross-section and sends you to a brick building with no parking!!! For shame, google maps. Don't let that stop you from finding this place. The address is correct, but is actually at the corner of Whittier Blvd and Soto (with plenty of parking out front). -

Crystal and Joe were great to work with. I shared the vision of what I was hoping to achieve along with my budget and they made it happen. My focus was on fun bright vibrant colors for the flowers and the wedding was beautifully decorated. It was easy to work with them and I definitely would recommend them to anyone shopping around for a florist.

Just got married earlier this month and I couldn't have better things to say about Ninfa's flowers. They are extremely professional, willing to work with budgets and do beautiful work. I couldn't be more thrilled with how the flowers turned out at our wedding. Thank you Ninfa's flowers!!!

I truly can't say enough about Crystal and Joe and Ninfa's Flowers.
They were absolutely amazing! I went in with a very limited sense of what I was looking for (I'm no florist!)...just the barest ideas of colors and design. I was also on a pretty tight budget and had been discouraged by other florists already. They were so nice and professional when we met and open and honest about budget and ways to work within it. I was instantly comfortable. I gave them a sense of what I was looking for - shape of bouquets, color scheme, a couple necessary flowers and some I didn't want at all.
When the flowers came it's like they had read my mind. The bouquets and centerpieces were so incredible. I could never have described exactly what I wanted but they just knew. Also, with what I paid, I felt like I was robbing them! For what I got, any other "Wedding Florist" would have charged three or more times what they did. But you'd never know it by looking at everything.
I don't know the next time I'll need "catered" flowers, but I will never use anyone else! Thank you so much. (Note to Crystal/Joe: pictures to come...) -

My experience with Crystal from Ninfa's Flowers was really lovely! And we looked long and hard before picking a florist. Crystal was responsive, organized, and really smart. I felt I could trust her to understand my concerns, my vision, everything. I also could trust her to keep my wedding within budget! The only problem I ran up against was that my bridal bouquet wasn't as stunning as I'd hoped in the end. I think this was my fault. I shouldn't have picked so many colors and I shouldn't have been so tight with the budget. Instead I should have thrown some extra money at the bridal bouquet and I would have had something that was really stunning. Whenever something was within Crystal's power to deliver it to me - she did just what I needed and beautifully too! I really loved working with her and would do so again!

I got married on 12/26/2009 and had a pleasant experience at Ninfa's flowers. From the start I told Crystal, the woman who runs the shop, I was a bride on a budget and she did all she could to help me stretch my dollar which made me a HAPPY BRIDE TO BE :)
This is what I liked about Ninfa's flowers: Crystal is really good at responding to emails. I sent her photos of the type of flower arrangements I wanted for my Gazebo wedding and she quickly replied with suggestions and answers to my questions. She was very helpful in suggesting what flowers worked best for our budget. On the day of my wedding, everything went as planned. She arrived on time as previously discussed and was ready to begin setting up. After the ceremony her and her team quickly removed the gazebo arrangements and moved them to the reception area a few feet away without me even noticing . I have to say Crystal made my wedding day go by smoothly and look beautiful!
On that note, I recommend Ninfa's flowers for that special day or for any floral needs . Crystal is easy to work with, professional, and knowledgeable about flowers. It is true what she says about payment. The contract clearly states that full payment is due 1 month before the wedding date so there is no surprise about that. At the end we paid a total of $568 for a bridal, maid of honor, and mini bride bouquet, a corsage, 3 gazebo floral arrangements (which were later transferred to the sweetheart, cake, and sign-in table), 8 organza bows, rose pedals, and the rental of organza draping for the gazebo and aisle. -

They did a great job on our wedding. Crystal and Joe were great to work with, nice, patient, and competent. I would bring them clear resolution pictures of how you want the bridal bouquet, centerpieces, and cake to look and they can make it just like that. I love my bouquet, altar arrangements, and centerpieces (18)
Their prices were excellent and we got a great deal. They are experience in church weddings, hotel reception, chinese reception, etc.
Make sure you arrange for the flowers to arrive early in case of traffic, etc

This is the first review that I've ever written because this is the first vendor I've ever worked with that is worthy of receiving 5-stars. Crystal and Joe from Ninfa's flowers provided the floral decorations for my wedding. In my attempt to cut cost, I planned on doing the floral arrangements myself with my bridal party/relatives. About a month before the wedding, I realized that there was too much to do the days before the wedding and the last thing I needed was the added stress of figuring out how to store the flowers, arrange and transport them to the venue. With their help, I was able to avoid becoming a bridezilla. Below are the specific reasons why I highly recommend Ninfa's Flowers & Gifts.
FLEXIBILITY:
- I went to Crystal & Joe one month before my wedding and they were able to rearrange my schedule to accommodate my wedding (ceremony & reception).
- They arrived early to the wedding and was able to find their way around without having to contact me.
- They help setup for the ceremony and they offered to stay until the ceremony ended to move my flowers around. (I reused the arrangements from the ceremony and moved them to reception area).
- They also help store/setup little mini potted flowers for us that we bought direct from the flower mart.
VALUE FOR COST:
- I was able to receive the following items within my budget - which was under $1300
- 3 bouquets (with Ecuadorian roses, calla lillies, stephanotis), 7 boutonniere, 3 corsages, 23 centerpieces (with Ecuadorian roses, dendrobium orchids, gerbera daisies, mini daisies and greenery), 3 decorative vases (4 ft tall filled with Ecuadorian roses submerged in water), sweetheart table bouquet and about 6 packs of rose petals decor. Also includes the materials like ribbons and flower trays.
- So instead of taking a few days off work to arrange flowers, I was able to work an extra few days which ended up making the cost of my package even more worthwhile.
- When you tell Crystal and Joe your budget, they will make suggestions that will give you the most magnificent arrangement with the smallest impact to your wallet.
PROFESSIONALISM:
- Crystal and Joe know their flowers - they were able to answer ALL our questions.
- They were able to provide great alternatives to our ideas based to help with cost, floral seasonality and floral pairings.
- They were able to coordinate with the wedding venue coordinator and on the day of the wedding they knew where to be and what to do.
- They itemize all our floral arrangements so we knew exactly how many roses and daisies (even the specific color).
- They made a sample arrangement for us with our centerpiece vase (it was a vase made in the shape of a fish - very unique and hard to design for) so we could see exactly what we would get.
RESPONSIVENESS:
- Crystal and Joe were always available via email, phone, or in person.
- Since I worked late and driving to Ninfa's Flowers could take about 1.5hrs from where I worked, Crystal and Joe were available to me after hours.
- Crystal kept in touch with me via email to give me updates on their ordering status and when they would pick up the flowers etc...
QUALITY OF SERVICE:
- The one vendor I did not have to worry or concern myself with on my wedding day was the florist. Crystal and Joe took care of everything. The flowers were placed in exactly all the locations we had marked on our floor plan. The day of event, my centerpiece looked even better than the sample.
OVERALL: By the end of the night, we had people fighting over who would get our centerpiece. Everyone wanted to take pictures with our centerpiece because it was amazingly beautiful. If you are looking for a florist who is genuine, professional, reliable and just flat out awesome, look no further than Crystal and Joe and Ninfa's Flowers. -

Crystal and Joe are incredibly nice and professional, and they were able to work within my budget to provide the flowers for my wedding.
Being completely clueless about flowers, I went into the shop and told them the colors I wanted and the budget I was working with, and told them to run with it. A few weeks before the wedding, they created a centerpiece sample for me. I had no idea what I wanted so I signed off on the centerpiece even though I wasn't really crazy about it. A week later, I started having second thoughts and spent a few hours one night on the phone and emailing with Crystal to request a change to the shape and the type of flowers used. I didn't want to spend any more on the flowers, so Crystal really had to be creative to make the flowers I wanted fit into the existing budget.
In the end, I was absolutely thrilled with the centerpieces she created. They were so lovely, elegant, and looked so upscale and beautiful. My mom was even worried that the guests at some tables would fight over who got to take the centerpiece home!
I have to mention that we did have a major hiccup the morning of the ceremony. I needed to leave my hotel at 8am and Crystal and Joe had promised that the flowers would be delivered by 7. At 7:15 I got a phone call from Joe saying that they had some car trouble and would not be able to make it on time to the hotel. However, he did everything he could to make it up to me, and ended up delivering the ceremony flowers to the ceremony and making a second stop at the reception (I believe this would have cost extra if I had requested the extra delivery, but they did it for free). There was absolutely no harm to my events, but it was very stressful to me the morning of the wedding. A few days later, Crystal explained over email that her delivery guy had been hit by a drunk driver on his way to the hotel! Joe did not tell me this on the phone (I am guessing to keep me from worrying too much). So, because it was absolutely not their fault and they went above and beyond to make sure that I got my flowers in time, I don't hold it againt them at all.

Why in the world would I try to scam someone out of flowers, which has to be the most ridiculous accusation I've ever heard. I would be more than happy to show my wedding photos and the beautiful flowers that were NOT provided by ninfa's flowers. The company we did use asked for a deposit and was paid the day of the wedding upon delivery. Payment was never received because we never got a phone call back stating that we were able to just pay 75% which is more than fair and pay the rest the day of the wedding. The third party that was contacting you was my WEDDING PLANNER. I would be glad to provide a business card. Any company who thinks it is ok to pull out of a wedding 3 days before is not going to get any business.
