Another review where I wish there was a little more granularity in the process. I'd give The 99 a 3.5 if it were possible. Decent place. Never any problems with service.

The food ranges from average to good. The ribs are soaked in a ketchup that spent a year in BBQ sauce college, dropped out and now spends its time unemployed, polishing a rusted out Camero on it's dads lawn. It's a sauce that tells people that it's chillin' until its garage band takes off. It's a sauce that hasn't shaved in three days and has been wearing the same filthy "Class of 98" tee for the last week. This sauce will likely end up in jail for robbing liquor stores. At its high school reunion, this sauce will be what the other sauces look at and thank god they are not. In short it's not very good.

They have a tendency to remove items I like from the menu. Go for the bbq turkey tips. They're good and they don't use the same sauce as the ribs. Try the oreo sundae if you're looking for a good time that will leave you very fat.

Very fond of this chain.  As the previous reviewer mentioned, they give you free popcorn as an appetizer, instead of bread.  They're in the same boat as Applebees and Ruby Tuesdays in that the walls are covered in useless junk that's fun to look at.  They're also a good place for variety.  If you're not sure what you want or everyone wants something different, the Ninety Nine is a good place to go.  Of course, because they make a little bit of everything they're food is average quality.  Not bad, but not good.  If you want good seafood or great ribs, go somewhere else.

The honey barbecue sauce they put on their ribs and other things is very... catsupy.  Others might like it, but I do not.  My favorite dish is the barbecue turkey tips.  Love the biscuits.

A good local chain that serves a wide variety of sandwiches, steaks, pasta dishes, appetizers, and desserts.  My favorite dish is the chicken parm which is a very large portion that usually I do not finish.  An added bonus is that they give you free popcorn for appetizer which is a change from most restaurants.  A good place to get a resonably priced dinner.

I give it 5 stars just for the simple fact that I love the people who work here. I have come to know them bc I used to drink here alot when I was a little younger... Kimmy -the bartender is the best. and Mark the other one is great too. I always catch up w/ old friends here due to it being " a local hangout for all the townies" . I always get drunk and have a good time here. Also the wings and skins are the best... and cannot forget a nice frosty mug o' beer....
