Killer hotel in the middle of everything. Pricelined it for $150/night which was good deal compared to the standard rates.

Walked into a complimentary glass of wine. Great service at the front desk and the concierge made some great restaurant and bar recommendations.

The rooms are nice enough. Great beds, sheets, pillows, etc. They're all equipped with iphone/ipod docking stations which was major hooks as i forgot my charger. free wi-fi.

The attached KO restaurant is superb. We had appetizers but everything we tried was delicious, including the pressed prim rib sandwhich, steak tacos and calamari was some of the best i've had. (granted Boston has awesome calamari). great happy drink specials at the bar too.

we'll be back...

Wow, I am jealous - I just read a review about people having their wedding at the Nine Zero. I am not that fortunate (nor am I even married) but this hotel is amazing.

My first impression upon walking inside the hotel was that it was gorgeous. It's spotless, modern, chic, sexy - I could go on and on. Secondly, you're barely though the doors before someone offers to help you. Service here is just as sexy and impeccable as the decor.

The rooms themselves are spacious and remind you of bedrooms you've seen on HGTV. Staying here made me want to win some kind of room makeover contest!

The hotel is also situated right near the Boston Commons and lots of great spots to shop, dine and learn about the city. Definitely among the top hotels I've stayed in.

We had our wedding at the Nine Zero on June 6th, 2009.  It was the best venue we could have ever picked!  It was absolutely perfect for our 50 person wedding reception brunch.  All of our guests were thoroughly impressed with the amazing food and elegant atmosphere.  This hotel is the epitome of class and modern elegance.  Kristen the events manager treated us like royalty and did all the work!  She coordinated everything and all we had to do was show up!!  She even got us an amazing room for our wedding night with panoramic views of the city.  It was so incredibly romantic!

Everything went smoothly and seamlessly.  We were so impressed by the entire staff and the professionalism and graciousness shown to us.  I now fully understand why many celebrities will only stay in the Kimpton brand hotels!  They really do treat each guest like a star.  I can't imagine a more perfect wedding day and we have the Nine Zero Hotel to thank.

COMFY

I stayed a night at Nine Zero a few months ago.  I've gotta say, a great lodging experience.  Room was "roomy" enough and clean.  Location was great.  Staff was courteous and helpful with tips.  One tip I got was to try the in house restaurant - KO Prime - which was touted as one of the best steak houses in Boston.  Well, I don't know if it was one of the best (as it's the only steak house I've been to in Boston), but it was pretty damn good.  Even the wine list was good.

Of course, this isn't the cheapest place, but it's a GREAT value.  The only negative thing I can think of was when I was checking in.  I got to the hotel about an hour before check in, and when I asked about early check in, they simply told me my room would not be available without checking (typically, I've had hotel staff at least check before dismissing my request for early check in).  Rest of the staff - at both the hotel and restaurant - were outstanding.

Was wisked away to this modern hotel for my bday in December 2008.  It's in a convenient location just a few blocks from the State House and the Commons...
When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted with free champagne and appetizers. Got up to our room and pleasantly surprised to see it was spacious for an inner city hotel and that it was lit with music playing...and chocolates on our bed.  The bathroom was real nice...marble surround and single sink with giant mirror and attached magnifying mirror...bathroom products by L'Occitane and a 2 fluffy towel robes.
The staff (check in, concierge and cleaning) were super friendly and went out of their way to make us feel cozy and warm (it was a cold two days!)
I am definitely going to make it back for another night in town real sooN!

Incredibly hip and modern hotel right in the center of all the action and sights that Boston has to offer.

We were literally steps from Boston Common, Faneuil Hall and all the lively Irish pubs.

The hotel would have probably been a 4...maybe strong 4.5, but since they let us check in at 10:30am instead of 3pm, they seriously deserve the 5-star Yelp.

The staff were all friendly, the rooms were awesome and the robes were comfy. Yes Andy likes a robe when staying at a chic hotel in one of my favorite cities in the country.

They offer a steakhouse downstairs, which I reviewed earlier (KO Prime), but I recommend going next door to the Bean Town Pub. Order a pint of your favorite adult beverage, grab either a cheeseburger or Irish breakfast and thank me later.

For parking, skip the $35 fee they charge and instead shop around. We were able to get 24 hours for $12 at a nearby lot, which was about a 2 minute walk to the hotel.

If you forget anything (i.e. toothbrush, razor etc), the hotel provides those items absolutely free. 24 hour room service and extremely comfy beds. Even the roll away bed was amazing.

I got this hotel for only $98 with Priceline. It went for over $250 that weekend. So while it is pricey, you will definitely be treated right by Nine Zero. After all it is a Kimpton hotel and they usually always deliver.

Last weekend = weekend in Bahston (that's how they say it).
Last weekend = Beantown jaunt (pretty place).
Last weekend = swanky boutique hotel (decor made me jealous).

4th stop -- Nine Zero

Venue:
The selection process was difficult, but we settled on Nine Zero because it just seemed cool. And cool it was indeed. I was most impressed by the small details: the globe lights in the lobby, the mirrors in the elevators, the influence of black and lighter neutrals throughout the color pallet. There's a lot of glass and reflection mixed with black and yellows, but it all goes together so well.

Our room was, well, a bit small. I mean, my studio apartment in NYC is bigger, and that's saying something. Still, it was well decorated. And everyone's right to rave about the amenities, but be forewarned you'll have to pay for most of it. It's cool stuff, like awesome scrubs and face washes, or cheetah print cami pjs, but that's the thing about Nine Zero. They charge you for the extras, and that's annoying. I was also disappointed that there were only zebra print robes in our room, I wanted to let out my big cat style, yo.

Still, the iHome was a nice touch, and it almost compensated for the seemingly out of place tube TV. The bed, however, was awesome. I mean, awesome. All toasty and warm and way too squishy to want to leave.  Only downside to the room was the annoying AC unit that made a lot of noise, otherwise it was a delicious little room that was comfortable and chic.

The bathroom was classy too. Smooth sandstone floor, and a light granite sinktop. The shower was glass doored, with no bath, but there are  rooms that do. Separating the bathroom and the room by a sliding door was an interesting decision, and saved room. Very cool.

And, this is a big AND, (although this is less brownie points for the hotel, but they still get some) they will dec your room out in rose petals and champagne and chocolate covered strawberries and candles. It was utter romance and completely over the top, but it was fantastic nonetheless. No doubt they charged extra, but it was worth it.

My only wish is that Nine Zero were a bit bigger, easier to get to by car, and in a less touristy part of town. So, 4.3-ish stars for you, Nine Zero, I had a good time.

Food:
Nine Zero has nightly wine tastings and hors d'oeuvres, in the morning, teas, coffee and muffins. On the second floor, is KO Prime, the steakhouse. After dinner, we stopped by for some drinks before heading up to the room. My Remy was there, thank you, and some grappa for later. While the drinks were a bit over priced, and I got IDed (really? It's a hotel lounge restaurant in Boston, not a downtown club in the City), it was casual and fun.

I won't do a separate review for KO, because we didn't eat there, although we passed by their morning brunch and it looked scrumptious. I read through the menu as well, and if I get the option, I would love to go back and try out some of their apps.

I've always been a fan of the Kimpton hotels, and Nine Zero didn't disappoint!

It's a beautiful & centrally located boutique hotel, only a short walk to the Park St. Train Station and Silver Line. The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating on checking us in early, and meeting our requests. Although the square footage of the guestrooms weren't big, but the elegant and luxurious design definitely made it a welcoming sanctuary. They even provided turn down service and left a small box of Godiva Chocolate & bottle of water with a welcome card, which showed the extent of details they do for their guests. The bathroom amenities were from Aveda, the shower and bed were heavenly.

Best of all, I've gotten an additional 25% off their Internet rate using the MassValuePass!

We drove to Nine Zero from Back Bay one day arriving to valet parking for 38.00. Check in was smooth and the staff great. The surroundings are very modern and comfortable. The public areas welcoming. The concierge Scott was most helpful for our two day stay.

We were in room 508. The two queens featured lovely bedding with goose down comforters and pillows. There were Aveda apothocaries.

We were in town for college visits and a Red Sox game.

We went to sleep around 12 and were woken at 4 to the sounds of the bar next door tossing hundreds of beer bottles into the trash bin. Then a garbage truck came and set off an alarm on a car. The alarm blasted a good while. It went off finally and then started up again 3 more times. We heard constant trucks backing up with that beep beep sound. It was the noisiest night's sleep we ever experienced in Boston. Previous stays gave been at the Fairmont Copley, The Eliot, Lennox, former Ritz and Westin. I woke at 7 exhausted.

The hotel was convenient to Suffolk where we had 3 appointments. it is quite trendy and could be amazing had we had a good night's sleep

This is part of the Kimpton chain, which I think is one of the best hotel chains in the country if you want to combine quality with price and good service.  The hotel is very modern and feels quite new.  The rooms are very comfortable and well-equpped, nice beds and bathrooms with Aveda products, and flat screen televisions.  I was only there for one night, but service was fine, though not as over-the-top as the service I have received at the San Francisco and other West Coast-based Kimptons.  I have noticed the East Coast staffs are not as friendly as the West Coast Kimpton employees.  The location is good, and they feature the nightly free wine service to guests. Overall a good hotel, though I do not like it as well as some of the other Kimpton properties that seem to have more personality.

We arrived here around 8PM for a business meeting the next morning.  A quick drive from the airport, I'm glad we chose it.

The interior is shiny and colorful, very modern.  Check-in was quick and the hotel staff was very nice, giving us suggestions for places to eat.

My coworker checked in first and got a room on the 12th floor.  To my surprise, since I had stayed in a Kimpton hotel in SFO a year ago and joined their member program, they gave me an upgrade to the 15th floor and poured me and my coworker glasses of champagne.  Coworker proceeded to call me VIP for the rest of the trip. =)

Got to my room and found a box of chocolates and a welcome card signed by the manager for being a Kimpton member.

Thought the room was nicely designed and the iHome alarm clock was a nice touch.  View was decent, but nothing spectacular.  The room is great for one person, but there's not much working space for two people.

Worked with my coworker in my room through the rest of the night and racked up quite the long distance bill with our director on the west coast (wouldn't use the hotel phone again if we had known).

Turned out we didn't have time to go out and explore Boston dining, so we ordered room service (miso-glazed salmon with edamame and a salad).  Both were overpriced and weren't very good, particularly the salmon, but it got us through the evening.

Bed was comfy, shower was nice, but shower door sticks a little (give a a firm shove).  Aveda products a nice touch as well.

Breakfast came 30 minutes earlier than requested, kind of a surprise, but was well-prepared.  Checkout was quick and friendly.

It was on company dime, but if I had to pay for it, I'd give it 3-stars.

Overall, great hotel, great service, join the Kimpton member program before you go and get food elsewhere.

Back in May of 2006 my company sent me to Boston for business purposes.  I had my choice of the Omni at the other end of the block or the Nine Zero.

Choosing the Nine Zero was a great choice because of the amenities and when I entered the room, my breath was taken away.

The CD player played light jazz tunes that put me in a relaxed mood.  I arrived in Beantown on a very early Sunday morning and being assaulted by drunken bastards who were after my cab wasn't my cup of tea.  Loved the earth toned decor and a view of Harvard and the Boston Common.  Absolutely loved it!

The mini bar contained everything under the sun.  Dried fruits, nuts, candy, and nearly every alcoholic beverage known to man.

The very soft pillowtop mattress and posh linens are great additions and add to the panache of the room.  The name brand toiletries and the best hotel bathroom I have ever seen made me melancholy when my trip was complete.

The Nine Zero is pricey.  400 bones a night.

i guess i wanted it to be a little better. jenny got chocolates, we didn't get any :( bummer .. our view was an alley.

our toilet had no water pressure - flushing was a bit of a task.
the bathroom sliding door came off the slider and we had to use the bathroom with the door open.
there are no coffee makers in the rooms (you can request one, and they send up a K-Cup machine)
the concierge suggested a restaurant that was closed (for good, not just the night)
the ac wouldnt turn off for a few hours when we arrived, so it was an icebox.
the aveda soaps were nice.
the bed was very comfortable and very high.
the room was pretty nice.
the tv was an old tube tv. i havent seen one of those in years-how nostalgic.
valet parking was $38 for 24 HRs, not sure if thats good or bad for this area.

upon booking i guess i didn't realize how DOG FRIENDLY the kimpton chain was. i am not a dog person-and have allergies to dogs, so seeing dogs running around the hotel wasn't really making me comfortable.

I probably will not return to nine zero, and wont recommend it to anyone unless they don't mind random dogs in their hotel and those glitches i mentioned above.

I like the little things...champagne at check in, the box of chocolates waiting in the room, the very friendly and attentive staff, the daily WSJ, and the wine reception hour. Naturally, this is all very Kimpton-esque service...not just specific to this hotel...but it's still nice.

The location was perfect for my meetings by day and for after work activities by night (tons of stuff near by). The hotel itself is quite nice, it's just a little step down from something like their Solamar property in San Diego. I think someone else mentioned the HIGH FLOW shower in their review...I agree that the shower works just fine. The only thing that I would wish is for the hotel to be a bit bigger...the wine reception can get a little cramped in the lounge (the "Living-room").

All in all, I think I'll make this my default hotel for Boston.

Of all the Hotels in Boston 5 Star or not, I have never had longer wait times on the phone.  I work in an industry where we are constantly traveling.  I deal with Hotels all the time.  From West to East all over this fine nation I have not once been on the phone for close to an hour without even speaking to one person.  Come on people!!!  What is the Malfunction!  The staff at the 9Zero is clearly overworked and underpaid if they cant even pick up the phone to say "hello" before placing you on hold for 30 minutes.  Twice in a row!!!  Unacceptable!  I will NEVER put another business associate in the 9Zero as clearly they are impossible to get in touch with!  They would get 1 star, but it is a pretty place!

Disclaimer:  I am a long time, satisfied employee of the Nine Zero!

Having worked the door/front desk for 5 years now, I can say that I take great pride in my employer and my colleagues at the Nine Zero Hotel.  While not everybody's stay has been perfect, we do our honest best to go above and beyond to make everybody's stay memorable.

Please feel free to find myself (Brian) at the door on the weekends, or look for my good friend Tom during weeknights for any questions about the hotel or the surrounding area.  We are always willing to assist others in finding their way around.  Kimpton Hotels has done a great job in empowering their employees, and I would love the opportunity to share my motivation and excitement with you!

I look forward to seeing you at the Nine Zero in the near future.

My favorite hotel in Boston!

I am a Kimpton frequent member because of Nine Zero.  The modern chic feel makes this hotel an experience.  When booking a hotel room here, always go for the King Premier View and if possible phone the hotel for a corner room.  Preferably room 1705.  The view is fantastic!  The amenities are luxury and they even have a cd player in the room with their own complimentary cd of a great mix of music.  If you want more cd's to enjoy during your stay there are cds at the front desk.

There is also a wine reception from 5pm to 6pm where you can grab a glass of wine mingle with others from the hotel or take the glass back to your room.

The mini bar is fully stocked with options and cable tv is free.

Nine Zero is right next to the theater district, so every time I see a show, I make sure I stay at the Nine Zero so I don't have to travel all the way home.  The T is also near by.

The hotel staff is exceptional with customer service and I was presented with a box of chocolates and bottled water at my door my first night.  A nice touch!

If you have a dog you can also bring your pal with you.  I saw dogs in the elevators and what not, I do believe they are all on one floor, so don't worry about the barking.

I love this place.  And I will be back and I can't wait to check out other Kimpton Hotels because of the Nine Zero.

Nine Zero was fantastic.  In between 2 T stops, on the Freedom Trail and steps away from Boston Commons.  And the best part was that our view looked similar to the view from The Departed with the State House in the background - really cool!

Room wasn't overly large but a friend said it was a lot bigger than his at Omni Parker which is right next door.  And everytime we left the room (morning, noon, night), someone would come in and clean it for us!  AWESOME!  And they kept leaving bottles of water or chocolates out for us.

Bed was so comfortable.  Front desk really nice and let us check in at 10 a.m. with no additional charge.  (and we received new shampoo and conditioner every day--contrary to another post)

Definitely wish we ate at the restaurant (KO Prime) but we just ran out of time!  Next time...

**Kimpton Web site has great deals for this hotel.  Ended up being better than http://hotels.com, expedia and orbitz.  So check their site first!

I'm a huge fan of the Nine Zero.  I'm a Kimptons frequent member, but I really only stay at the Nine Zero.

Service:  Thier staff is pleasant and quite informative.  They have always been very accomodating.  Upon entering my room, they always have either a bottle of wine or a bottle of Voss water waiting for me, with treats and a personalized welcome card stating some of the things they can do to make my stay more pleasant.

Amenities:  I love their Mario Russo shampooo, conditioner, body lotion and soaps that they provide in the rooms.  They also offer a wine reception from 5-6pm daily.

Rooms:  I love the beds.  They also offer a pillow selection.  Several other items they offer (for an additional charge) are pajamas for both men and women, socks, full size toiletries, and bath robes.

They are cute and trendy.  I have definitely made this my home whenever I am in the Boston area.

We love our Kimpton hotels!

Nine Zero actually began as a happy fluke when we arranged for a Boston hotel through Priceline.  Imagine how ecstatic we were when we got the Nine Zero!

Check-in was quick and painless, and the room was absolutely gorgeous.  Typical Kimpton style, modern and clean with a large room and bathroom...wonderful!!!  The bed was absolutely one of the best we've slept in, and the entire staff was beyond helpful, cordial and pleasant.

Even better, the location is central to most historical things in Boston...steps from Boston Common.  I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

A toned down W-esque Hotel with better service.

The desk attendent was very friendly and went out of his way to explain all the facilities and services available. My room wasn't huge, but was quite comfortable and I really liked having a decent mini-stereo. The gym was small, but had all the basics, plus free passes to the nearby Bally's are available at the front desk. Internet was free and comes to your room via WiFi and ethernet.

The real highlight was the shower, forget "low-flow" as this thing was a freakin firehose! Everyday I woke up to a warm massage in my bathroom, pure heaven. The bed was plush and the huge down pillows were great.

Also if you're coming to town with that special someone, you'll be especially happy to know that the headboard is well padded. Not that I benefited from the feature, but it's a nice touch...ha!

I have stayed at this hotel probebly six times or more and I love it more each time I go.  It is the same today as it was the year it opened.  There is a reason it wins the Best of Boston Boutique Hotel award all the time.

From the moment you step into the lobby it feels like you are being transported to the future.  The lobby is complete with oversize chairs that look like they belong in the livingroom of the Jetsons.   I work in the travel industry and let me say that it is very hard to impress me with hotels and service.  I know what we expect for our clients and I am always looking to find flaw and with this hotel I never do.  I would send our clients here in a heartbeat and without hesitation.  You know it is a good hotel when you are in the industry and you would stay there yourself.

The staff goes out of their way to accomodate you.  I have never encountered anyone in all my stays there that was not willing to assist me in some way.  Whether it was recommending a good place to eat brunch or assisting me with hailing a cab in the wee hours of the morning.  They were always ready to help.  The rooms themselves have the same oversize theme as the lobby with beds that resemble a sleigh and a huge oversize chair.  Each room comes complete with Mario Russo bath products, a terry cloth robe, cd player, mini bar (extra charge to use) and bar wear.   I always bring my own wine but it is nice to have wine glasses in your room to utilize upon your arrival.

The upper floors have a better view and are known as their "Sensational Rooms".  I have stayed in both the "Fantastic" and the "Sensational Rooms"  The difference is that in the Sensational rooms the windows are larger and they have a better view and they are on an upper floor.  There weren't any real differences in amenities that I noticed.

The bar downstairs called Spire has some fabulous martinis.  If you like things like a white grape martini or perhaps an expresso martini which comes complete with an expresso bean this is the place to go. The prices at the bar are a little pricey, but that is expected as it is a luxury hotel and hotel bars are always more expensive.  If dessert is more your thing try their Creme Brulee it is to die for.  Do yourself a favor even if you are from the area book yourself a room at this hotel you won't regret it!

I'd give this ten stars if I could.

Nine Zero got the basics right but left me wanting a bit more in terms of the little things. Does that make me spoiled?

The room looked nice but was too small for all its furniture. You couldn't make it to the desk without banging your knee on the ottoman. The bathroom door would get stuck, causing me to temporarily panic and imagine myself trapped there all day. I finally applied all my body weight and got the thing open - a totally unexpected morning workout. There was no newspaper in the morning, they got my breakfast order wrong but promptly and kindly corrected it.

Overall, the place was nice and the location is fantastic. But in the ranking of cool boutique hotels, this one fell a bit short.

The family and I are big fans of the Kimpton Hotels.  We chose the Nine Zero based on location and past experience and were not disappointed.  The location is fantastic for tourists (like us) as you can easily walk to most of the main attractions and there is a T line nearby.

The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful (as usual for Kimpton) though housekeeping left much to be desired.  Our floors were filthy, vacuumed only once during our four day stay and a large grease mark (present when we checked in and reported to staff) was ingnored and we ended up taking some of it home with us.

Overall, the experience was great.  Thanks you Kimpton!

This is the best of the Kimpton hotels I have tried out in Boston...so much better than Onyx. Some people judge restaurants by the quality of the food and the cleanliness of the bathrooms. Similarly, I always include room service in my overall assessment of hotels, and the room service here is great.

Comfy beds, good location, and a cool bar area adjacent.

This hotel is listed as a luxury hotel in my tourist guide...I am not sure I agree? The location of this hotel was unbeatable, only steps away from boston common and you can easily walk everywhere else. But the room was tiny. Granted it had an awesome martini bar and a nice little stereo...Staff was very nice and friendly. But honestly...if I had to pay that much money for a room....I probably expect a little bit more.

I liked the Hotel Costes touch with the music in the lobby.

We secured this room by using http://Hotwire.com.  It helped save us some cash.  The rates through the hotel are ridiculous so I would only suggest using an online service to secure a room here.

We arrived in Boston at 9:00am and check-in wasn't until 3.  We went to the front desk to check our bags but instead we were able to check-in.  Our room was on a high floor and had a spectacular view of the Boston Common.

The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was modern and extremely clean.

At night we had turn down service and the maid left us some chocolates.  A nice little treat.

The Nine Zero is located right across from the Park St T station.  It made getting around the city pretty painless.

Nine Zero is an immaculate, posh, downtown hotel in the best location with phenomenal views and plush rooms with excellent design, beautiful furniture and divine beds.

The hotel is equipped with stellar staff who are down-to-earth yet truly know service.  I stayed here for New Year's Eve 2005.  Given the holiday, security got a bit tight on the premises and were efficient but still very friendly.

Request a corner room if there's one available.  (They're Spectacular not just Fantastic.)  For a view, ask for a room above Floor 10 facing Tremont Street.

Mario Russo hair and bath products leave you feeling pampered.  Voss water is stocked in the mini bar with tons of other goodies.

It was truly a treat to stay here -- refreshing to find that hotels like this still exist.

I haven't been to Nine Zero Hotel in a while, but was very familiar with the property when I lived in Boston.  Have stayed there three times, and had great experiences on every occasion.

What I love about the hotel are: The great service and amazing concierge.  They really accommodate for all their guests and personalize each room based on requests and past visits.  They also have a personal shopper service that will go to Louis Boston for anything you need.  Frette linens, pillow menu, Mario Russo bath products and floor to ceiling windows :) Dog friendly too!  Second floor lounge at Spire is sleek and sexy.  Minibar items are interesting!!  The last time I was there, they had shots of ginseng for energy!

Location couldn't be better.  Across the street from the public garden and right on the Freedom Trail, everything is right at your fingertips!

The only negative is that the rooms are a bit on the smaller side. I think the rooms on the two floors below the penthouse suit are a bit larger.  Cloud Nine, the penthouse suit, is fantastic.  Note: I haven't been back since the buyout by Kimpton... will have to make a visit the next time I'm in Boston.

what an amazing hotel!  I've stayed here thousands of times (ok, probably like 4 of 5 times) and it's superb.

Very trendy, nice rooms, great location and the service is second to none (I always wanted to type or say that).

It's expensive though...

This is a nice boutique hotel compared to a standard hotel....but in the standard of boutique hotels....it's a little plain and the rooms are really small.

I would stay here if I had my doggie out here because it was a Kimpton hotel but if not I don't know if I would come back to this hotel.

The small room really got in the way of moving around....it was a little bit of a bummer since I was really looking forward to staying here.

Great amenities in a hip, urban hotel. They make you feel welcome from the start, and the lobby is a great place to relax. Ask for a high floor, as street noise carries...

LEOPARD AND ZEBRA BATHROBES! Cool handmade artisan soaps. Nice mini-gym. Good lobby music. Free champagne from 5-6. Go out and end your night with night cap at the Beantown Pub across the street before you stumble back to LEOPARD AND ZEBRA BATHROBES!

We stayed here for 2 nights. We had originally booked one, but found that Boston is way too cool to only stay one night. They were very accomadating about giving us another night for the same rate. The staff is very friendly and helpful- every single staff member, including handy men and housekeeping, had a smile and a hello for us. The front desk learned my name after the first day, and called me Ms. Knox the whole time which was kinda awesome. I was a big dummy and forgot a stroller, and they had one to loan (for free!). I had a view room, and the view really was awesome. The rooms were nice, I have stayed at other Kimpton hotels that are a little nicer. The desk legs were a little banged up. The beds are RIDICULOUSLY comfortable. My mom is permanantly disabled with an awful back, and she said it's the best she's slept in a long long time.
All in all, it was a fantastic stay and despite the hefty price ($322 a night for Sunday and Monday) I would definately stay again!

Excellent hotel. Great service, nice and comfortable accommodations, modern and clean decor. The room and the bathroom were roomy.

Housekeeping came to tidy up the room twice a day. That's right, twice a day. We would come back in the afternoon and notice housekeeping had come in to make the bed, tidy up the bathroom and room. Then we'd return before bedtime and notice the bed was turned down. Very nice.

Way better than the W Hotel I stayed at in Midtown Manhattan. Bigger rooms, better service, equally good accommodations. The people at the front desk were always very helpful and friendly, as were the bell hops. A great hotel.

Let me start off by saying I LOVE that they are Eco-friendly! They let you choose whether to clean your bed sheets every day; in order to safe electricity and water. The room was spacious and clean. Great view of the city from our room. Only complaint... they do not give you new little sample bottles of soap, shampoo, or conditioner after you finish the first. However, they do provide a pack with a large bottle of shampoo, conditioner, and soap to keep for ONLY $90.
As for the room service, I would assume it is good. I usually like to try what the city has to offer instead of eating something usual. The decor was up to date and clean. Loved the layout of the suite. Although thought it was weird the sliding bathroom door had no lock!? Haha.. also found it amusing my boyfriend and I could hear our neighbors having drunk sex ( I believe they were in the room on top). Hmm... Great, safe location... blocks from EVERYTHING. The concierge was very friendly and helpful. They gave me great tips, directions and helpful ways to get around to see the best Boston has to offer. (Also printed my boarding pass).
The hotel offers wine tastings daily in the lobby area. They also placed a bottle of Champagne and 2 choc. covered strawberries in our suite, since it was our anniversary. Would definitely stay here again.

Have stayed at many Kimptons usually out west . Had to do business in Boston the last few months. Stayed at Hilton, Omni, Marriott. Weston. Nine Zero. By far the Nine Zero is a star or 2 above them. Service was awesome. Rooms for being downtown Boston were clean and modern. THE OMNI may be the exact opposite. Looks ike they updated 1957. The wine hr is awesome. The restraunt KO was a pleasent surprise. The Bar is awsome. The Bar staff are Fun and worth the trip to have a drink. The food there was great not much for hotel restraunts but this is 5 stars. May be a little pricey but not any more then others I have been in boston. WORTH THE STAY...

A nice hotel with modern decor (a lot of black furniture with black and brown stripped bed covers).  They have very gracious staff who will do what it takes to make your stay comfortable.

$285/weeknight rate.
