Niles Park District Oasis Waterpark
4 reviews for Niles Park District Oasis Waterpark
I used to drive by for years before I decided to check it out for myself. I couldn't take being teased by all the happy people swimming around in a cold pool while I was pouring sweat on a 90 degree day, so I decided to stop by. I'm glad I did, because it's a really nice place with fun water slides, lovely landscaping and a nice place just to relax.
This is a really good looking water park. It's not anywhere as big as Wet N' Wild waterpark. But this is Niles and it is a park district facility. This place can get packed with kids of all ages on a hot day. It's alot of fun. I'm glad this place is here.
Ya, this is our place to be in the hot summer sun! The kids love it, and they have lawn chairs for you to lay out on or leave your stuff on. There's also a snack place, so if you forget yours or need a drink they've got ya covered. The best part is the safety break, when all the kiddies have to exit-o for 15 minutes and mom and dad can enjoy a swim all their own! You can't bring in your own food (I've smuggled in things once or twice) because they check your bags on the way in. But you can go in and out, so you could always have a picnic in the parking lot!
Been here a few times before, good place to just walk, ride bikes, or even swim. The bike paths are really nice and big. The area is also very pretty with nice flowers and landscaping. A good place to go to on a hot, summer day!
