cool little museum, with nice model train lay-outs. one n scale layout on 1st floor, and a bigger HO layout in the basement. they have occasional open houses when you can drop in and look around. its free but there's a donation box at the front door. put some money in there, its worth it *I* think. check out the website (link below) for details on schedules etc.

The Niles area, and Depot has got to be the coolest part of Fremont. Silent Movie Nights, historic train rides, nature trails & parks, antique shops, tea houses, biker bbq joints.
It looks like someone took a piece of the old west and plopped it in the middle of normal Cali suburbia.
