Got ushered here immediately after landing on a sunday afternoon, and was almost swept away by the energy of all the party people...there were beds and lounges galore, each packed to the brim with gyrating, bikini clad partygoers, drinks in hand. Everyone appeared to be extremely gleeful(a.k.a. wasted) and it took us quite a while to obtain a table. when finally seated, it took another lifetime to see a server and an eternity to order. By the time my chilled gazpacho(too sour), fried calamari(sauce was delicious, spicy tomato concoction), and cuban sandwich arrived, my stomach had eaten itself. Quite the party scene, but don't come on an empty stomach or you'll regret it.

This is officially, one of the best clubs in the World.
No words to describe it.... you have to see it for yourself (bring cash too because the less crowded bars are cash only).
If you are a tourist in Miami, do yourself a favor and attend the famous Nikki Sundays; the party is both day and night.

Food.

Beverages.

Dancing.

Sand.

Sun.

Ocean.

Hot people.

Paradise.

The first bar we walked up to only took cash. Fortunately we had some, and for the first time in a long time Corona actually tasted good. Thank you 90 degree weather and a long walk on the beach. Later I found a bar towards the south side of the club that took cards.

I decided I absolutely needed to visit the ATM. I feel totally helpless without carrying cash around. I mean... what if I get mugged? Wouldn't want to leave the poor guy with nothing, right? There's one inside, but I had to head around to the front. The bouncers were pretty cool, just had me leave my ID with them and they let me in. I also got to check out the expensive luxury cars out front and had pseudo-penis envy. I tried to make myself feel better by imagining the low mpg they were getting, the high cost of insurance, the amount of pollution they kick up, how presumptuous and irresponsible owning a car like that is, and all the other ultra-liberal limp-dick bull-shit we tell ourselves when confronted by the stuff we'll never be able to afford. Kinda made myself feel better.

Food and drinks are pricey. Eating, drinking, and being merry on comfy couches with my friends listening to kick ass jams and looking at the bounty of booty passing by made it totally worth it.

Nikki Beach is one of my favorite places in Miami.  I'm a beach lover so this is the place to be in Miami.  I went here for WMC and of course it was insane.  We had a fantastic time dancing on the white beds, drinking and acting silly.  I have to say that was one of the best vacations i've ever had.

I went back to visit when it was more low key and had lunch with mojitos and just enjoyed the palm trees, sun and sand :).

Sunday is THE day for Nikki. Always fun times and good music. Connected to Pearl. Great location! Very spacious and many bars so they do promote drinking and do not make it difficult. Haha. You definately see some sloppy people sometimes Sundays morning or sat night. I prefer Sunday nights. More low key and not as crazy. How could you not like drinking and dancing in a club on the beach...

pretty cool!  we rented out the venue for a corporate event last week.  unique club/bar atmosphere on the bed....kind of like NYC's bed, but on the beach.  hang out on the second floor for the more traditionally club scene.  make sure to wear shoes/sandals that will let you enjoy the sand and beach.  i wore flip-flops :)

love this place. went to sobe with my girlfriends in march and basically lived here the whole week. love this place during the week m-thur when it is not so crowded and you can lay out in peace. the sushi is delish. the crowd is gorgeous. and though some of the wait staff is bitchy i generally had good luck with them. definitely recommend as a great place to spend beach time and chat and lay around with your friends. order a mojito pitcher. you won't be disappointed.

We were looking for a Sunday brunch that would afford us a view of the beach and offer some good people watching. Nikki Beach was just the ticket.

The brunch was reasonably priced (by SoBe standards) at $32. The food was alright; the sushi selection was limited to krab-with-a-k stick and some spicy tuna, although I guess you can't expect them to leave raw fish out in the Miami heat for long! The desserts were probably the most adventurous options, although folks seemed to be very fond of the omelet bar.

The mojitos were good but pricey (again, not by SoBe standards), but at $52 a pitcher, the bar bill added up quick!

But put together mediocre food and good (costly) drinks with a beautiful outdoor setting and gorgeous, well-dressed (and well-heeled) patrons, and Nikki is just the place. There was a gaggle of gals on a bed near us who had $7000 worth of champagne brought over (and that was just the first set of what I'm sure was a long evening for them) and who had 6 security guards that we could see (which means there probably were at least 2 that we couldn't), so it's definitely a see-and-be-seen scene.

We had to fly out Sunday evening, so forced ourselves to leave at about 5, right when it seemed like things were really picking up (hot gals in beaded bikinis and headdresses dancing on tables, a live saxophonist accompanying the fantastic upbeat lounge the DJ was spinning). Would have stayed all night otherwise, I'm sure!

My favorite spot in Miami by far!!! Club scene, bar scene, beach scene and lounge scene all in one. Has a very Miami clubby atmosphere inside with bottle service and techno and all you could want. Then you walk through the doors to outside and find several beds and cabanas and an outside bar to relax and hang out with friends. It has tiki torches and pal trees and is so relaxing. Its like 2 different worlds in that club. Its so nice outside with the weather and the view of the ocean.....Im getting sad just thinking about it!
Ive never been there during the day but Im sure its just as awesome.
Cant wait to go back!!!!

I came here over WMC 2006 for a huge lineup.

My most prominent impressions:

Check the weather forecast before you go clubbing here.  It turned out to be frigid the late-March night I made it there.  The bonfires helped a little bit.

The dance floor areas can get pretty cramped.

As far as clubbing goes in Miami Beach, this place seems to be one of the more expensive venues as far as cover and drinks goes.

This is my ideal way and place to lounge about fabulously for a few drinks with good friends.  A trendy modern beach lounge off the southern end of Ocean Drive right on the beach.  Plenty of plush white couches, beds, wooden tables and chairs, and even some teepees for something or other.  Glam yet laid back beach bar with aloof patrons and staff yet strong drinks.  Can't vouch for the food since I didn't get to try any there and definitely don't remember the rest of my experience there.  I went there with some friends for my bachelorette party so nuff said.

*sigh* I need to find more lounges like this wherever I go.....

Nikki Beach.  How I wanted to adore you.

Experience 1: January 2007.  Sunday night.  Group of well attired gentlemen (3) and sexy ladies (4) stand outside the door while some too-cool-for-school bouncer selects everyone else out of the crowd to go in.  We just wanted a few beverages on our last night in Miami - we weren't even into the comparatively Bridge & Tunnel-esque crowd, but just wanted to check out the venue.   After waiting for close to a half hour, we turned our noses in the air and went elsewhere...  Friends how have been here before tell us it gets quite packed at night.

Experience 2: December 2007.  Wednesday afternoon.  After a few hours of bronzing ourselves, we retreated to Nikki Beach for an afternoon cocktail and some nourishment.  The venue itself is gorgeous.  It's spread out well and the seating is nice.  The service was HORRENDOUS.  We were ordering a bottle of wine and trying to decide between 2, and our waiter knew nothing about it.  And then asked another waiter to come over, who also knew nothing but tried to cover it up by saying a bunch of "wine words."  Finally when we decided on a bottle, he didn't even pour a taste before filling our glasses.  The food was just alright (although the fries were delicious), and when the bill came, they over charged us!  And when we pointed it out, the waiter was again pissed off and went back, took the additional charges of and added the gratuity (which wasn't there in the first place!)

The verdict: I'll probably wind up here again for a mid afternoon cocktail (the mojitos looked delicious!) & ambiance, but I'll avoid the food and I won't be gracing them with my presence at night!

I came here for free on a birthday occasion after dining at Pearl next door on a weekday night. I wasn't able to enjoy the full venue since it rained so I was barred from its outdoor scene but all I could say was "asi asi." The indoor was nothing to write home about, the DJ played nonstop hip-hop so if you enjoy listening to Power 96 and Y100, I'm sure you'd fit in here.

PS: Top Chef Miami shot outside of Nikki Beach for a cooking challenge where they had to whip up creative late night/bar food to the drunken partygoers. The look on the contestants' faces were priceless.

See my rating?  Now check out the number of dollar signs.  Our Sunday brunch was easily over $50 apiece.  I have no huge gripe about the place aside from that.

I mean, the food was pretty ordinary (although access to unlimited sushi was a nice thing to have) and the service wasn't too bad.  But $9 for a fkn mimosa?  I was on vacation, so I swallowed that without much complaint--and then came home and had bottomless mimosas for $8 the following weekend.

It earns two stars for the aforementioned sushi and for the supremely attractive clientele.  Everything else?  Pass.

Seriously......

Read who's giving this place 5 stars........

I'm no high class fancy wine and cheese guy by any means(or maybe i'm becoming that guy?)..and Ive been on more spring breaks then I want to admit.  But Seriously....

This place is absolutely horrible.

I was there on the famous "Sunday Space Nights" or whatever the techno night they call it is.  Drinks are 12.00 dollars...OK.... I was drinking Gin-Rocks.  It was watered down like a flat Gin-Tonic.   Gin-Rocks.  How do you water down a rocks drink?  Its ICE..which is a form of water, still in a solid state, and ALCOHOL...which according to Wikipedia(http://en.wikipedia.or...), is not WATER.

The patrons are best described as Spring Breakers, after three days of all day binge drinking, having a lot of money(entitlement), shirtless, and uneducated trying to act like they are either in a Cuban Mafia or a Ultimate Fighting competition.  WHO LETS PEOPLE INTO A CLUB WITHOUT A SHIRT ON?  This is supposed to be a NICE club not Senior Frogs in Cancun....

Oh, I could write about the 2 fights I almost got in, the broken glass, or the horrible bar staff.  But you get the point.....

Oh Yes! I always loved Nikki's; it is the sole place in Miami with that Caribean flavor of being able to eat, drink and party not near, or by, but AT the beach, without being in a Hotel or Condo. This sole fact makes Nikki's perfect; add to this the sexy white Tepees, the many low and elevated white beds, the proximity of the Pearl restaurant upstairs, and the House music engulfed environment, it all adds up to Nikki's charm.

Mojito pitcher? Yes! The Mojito is soo delicious that you'll order more than 3 of these pitchers.... two outside bars on each extreme, and the lounge inside... if you want privacy the many beds are looking at you, if you want MORE privacy, stroll the sand and you are alone at the beach with your fling, date or significant other. Needless to say I always loved this place, on low tide (Mon - Sat) or high tide (Sunday), and thus I came on Sunday with friends, and even though it was memorial, the crowd density was fine, not a shade over medium. I also had a 10 second run-in with yelper Double OO, which was fun.

If in Miami, you just got-to-be-at Nikki's. Now to try their location in midtown when I get back....

High Five!

while visiting Miami my friends and I stopped in to Nikki Beach for "one drink"  yeahh..... we loved it so much we spent the remainder of the afternoon and most of the night lounging on their comfy white beds over looking the ocean sipping champagne.

the waitresses and bartenders were super attentive and kept the bub flowing.

Great place to see a show. I was hear for the Juicy Beach Party during Winter Music Conference. Exepct for the weather everything was fantastic. One of the best parties of my life thus far. I will return next year for WMC. It was also conviently located right next to the South Beach Marriot, which is where I like to stay when in town.

The Sunday brunch buffet price is too high - $25.

The buffet food itself is average at best.  How do you hire an omelette chef who doesn't have a clue about how to make an omelette?  It was so painful watching this man butcher my omelette that I volunteered to work the frying pan.

But once you sit down, the scene itself is a lot of fun.  Great house beats and peeps dancing and just enjoying themselves.  When everyone around you is having a good time and relaxing, you have no choice but to take in the vibe.

As far as the night scene at Nikki Beach, I can't speak to that.  The only time that I tried to get in that place outside of a Sunday was to see Erick Morillo and they tried to charge me a $75 cover.  Thanks but no thanks.

Did I hang out at Nikki Beach every weekend when I lived in Miami?  No.  But if you're visiting Miami or just looking for an occasional cool Sunday scene, this is my pick.

I used to love this place.  It is no longer nice.  The crowd is really seedy and either on drugs or belligerent.  It is overly crowed and very pricy.  I spent $200 in an hour on drinks and I am a lightweight!  Sunday nites are not good.

I have been here during Winter music conference where it is a good looking crowd and more relaxing on the beach listeing to chill out music.  I was shocked on my last visit..   Pearl is a good alternative- an awesome restaurant upstairs.

Been here on so many occasions and always during WMC. I got to dj here a few times while I was a resident dj for Hed Kandi.

I was there beginning of April '07 for spring break with my best friend. Our hotel concierge had told us Sunday nights at Nikki Beach are pretty fun. When we got there, of course there was a huge line though we didn't have to wait long. The bouncer picked us and let us in almost instantly. I really liked the drinks but the music was very techno which really isn't a favorite of mine. We drifted to the outside area and relaxed in one of those comfy little cabana chairs they have under the palm trees.

Can't say I was having the time of my life going wild but it was nice to sit back and people watch. I fell in love with the atmosphere, the white lights, the open outside area with the beach breeze blowing in my hair.

We decided to return during the day and check out the beach. Lot nicer then the beach around 13Th and Ocean Dr. Though I must admit, the rental for a towel and a beach chair went anywhere from $25 to $40, but that's Miami $$ for you.

Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

The place to be in Miami on Sunday night.  Scene inside is different from the one outdoors, which is way more fun. Place reminds me of Joey Harrison's down the Jersey shore, but on a much larger scale. Drinks were not great, but they did the job. Very comfy lounging on the big white beds and outdoor cabanas- the teepees were a surprise, wonderful place to get sweet with your honey.

Only been here once, during WMC 2005, but once was enough to be impressed with Nikki Beach.

Didn't spend much time inside because it was so nice out, but the venue appeared spacious, clean and amply staffed in it's various rooms.

Being on the beach without being at *a* beach (or a hotel pool) was pleasant. The beds were comfy. The whole ambiance was sooo... quintessentially-- what San Franciscans who've never been to Miami might call--- Miami.

Nikki Beach is what I think every San Francisco pool party aspires to, but can never be.

It's really a place you could spend all day at......from dining al fresco to lounging on the beds or taking a dip in the ocean, it's all here.  Flame dancers and moonlit nights are what it's about here at Nikki Beach.  I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!

Although a nice spot for tourists, Nikki Beach is no longer the darling of the jet-set crowd.  I remember the days when hundreds of models would show up on a Sunday afternoon to get down and dance. I can still appreciate the atmosphere but having know what Nikki Beach once was, can only say that it no longer deserves a 5* rating.

Nikki Beach is a good time.  It's Miami, so why not be outside on sand?  The drinks were good, not too expensive, and the bartenders were really cool.  It gets crowded on Sunday/Monday nights, so go Friday or Saturday if you want no hassle getting in.

All of my reviews for the foreseeable future will be about detox tea, acupuncture, yoga, and wholesome outdoor activities. I just got back from Miami and am a mere shell of a woman. So if you so much as see me out and about with a glass of wine in my hand, slap me down and send me home to bed!

I'm blaming my state on Nikki. Nikki's Bar, that is. Quintessential Miami, with white beds and pillows and lounge areas both indoor and out, and my favorite, outdoor teepees with little fireplaces for when you need some privacy. Curving long bar with white (what else?!) lights, and great service and drinks. Music was okay, but it wasn't one of their major nights.

It was good enough to make me want to go back for more, just as soon as I get out of rehab....

We came here at night, on a slow night actually, but that part didn't matter. We had a great time.

1-Our bartender was SUPER nice and amidst our casual conversations, he told us that he used to work at a bar in Chicago that I used to frequent every Saturday night (and some Fridays). Very cool!

2-The martinis/cosmos were strong, yet tasted good. Always a good combination.

3-This is the most important reason as to why this place got 4 stars: this place is GOR-geous. The outside setting is huge, and there are beds and little cabana-bunker type thingies all over the beach. The bedsheets are white, and the cabanas had these white billowy curtains that moved loosely with the wind, creating the perfect Miami setting. It was so pretty, so serene, and just plain fun to look at. There was a huuuuuge garden area slightly off to the right, but it was closed for the night. It still looked amazing, even in the dark. I'm sure it's 10 time better during the day or in the early evening, so be sure to check that out!

Even though it wasn't booming with people, I still had an amazing time at this snazzy joint and would def. hit it up again next time I'm in Miami. :)

Yes "sexy" would be the right word to describe this night club.  My recommendation would actually be going there Friday or Saturday where the Sunday clubbing crowd is not there yet when the club still offers decent house music.  I went tonite (Sat).  There were probably 3-4 dozens of people.  No cover and you can sit anywhere without any bottle service.  Imagine this: Holding a mojito (or maritini) in you hand, lying in one of the white beds with friends, rubbing your feet together to feel the sand, starring at the stars, or feeling the summer breeze on your face...

My favorite club in Miami because it combines the Mediterranean with Miami, good music with a good looking crowd...

Sunday nights are good. New Years was ok. The mojitos are great and come with a real sugar cane dipped in your drink to bite on.

The beach side has little white teepee-huts, and comfortable white mattresses (beds)... great if you're there as a couple or if you find someone you like:) lol

the experience at the door needs to be improved.

BTW, Silviana and Carlo (Carlito), are both Italian, and if you can speak Italian, they'll think you're a VIP, and they'll kiss you on the both cheeks and let you in without you having to wait in line.

It worked 1 time, and the second time, this girl behind me did the trick before I did, but because it would have been unoriginaly to copy her, I couldn't pretend to be Italian anymore,  but advice to you,  pretending to be another nationality doesn't work, so  I had to wait to be picked for another 5 mins. :) oh well.

You can also bribe them by telling them you're gonna get a bottle, you are in then. But it costs anywhere from 300 to 600 for normal bottles, but they negotiate.

Don't go when it's spring break, or some special holiday season when the people from NY etc.. are down... they become really picky, it will be a bitter start for your night if you're not gonna buy a bottle.

Been here a few times, it's my favorite club in Miami.  There's a huge outdoor area with sand and places to lounge and the inside is also huge.  It has a loud dance floor if you're into that whole scene and then it's also very laid back, best of both worlds.  It's on the expensive side but so is everything in Miami...highly recommended.
