Now the secret is out - there's an even cheaper way to enjoy Nikki Beach (at least for drinks and the beach if not the club). A good-to-know for the locals!

Thursdays & Fridays from 5 PM to 8 PM, if you can get a group of 5 or more - make a reservation and you're entitled to the following:

- FREE tapas!
- TWO free drinks per person (good for well drinks, or use both tickets for one whole carafe of wine which at this time is a $9 value)
- Half-off of their exorbitantly priced drinks when you finish up your tickets

Oh and when I came by here for happy hour, I saw that they also offered free parking to boot! And yes, even on a Friday!

Horrible food. The buffet brunch here costs approximately $32.50 + 18% mandatory gratuity + tax = $41 per person. The buffet food at the business conference I'm attending is considerably better....which says a lot. OK, it's "unlimited" amount, but seriously, who wants to eat a massive amount of crappy food, especially when you are not wearing much to cover yourself up?

A  horrible glass of bellini costs roughly $9 + 18% mandatory gratuity + tax = $11. It tasted like some wine cooler out of a can/ bottle I would have enjoyed when I was, like, 14.

Granted, at places like Nikki Beach, one is supposed to be paying for the ambience, music, and sight of beautiful party people and not for the food. Having said that, these three elements combined still didn't add up to justify the hefty price (more on pricing in SoBe later).

The ambience is nice. I'll give them that. It's "on the beach"; however, you cannot see the water from your table because it's sectioned off. While it's nice and tropical, it's not the most memorable setting.

Music is pretty cool if you are into house music. I loved the live saxophone playing along with the house beats the dj was spinning. The sound system was low on the bass, which sort of depletes the whole point of having house music on. Maybe it was due to some considerations given to the babies and old people having brunch there?

Lastly, the "beautiful people" factor: maybe it's due to the bad economy (I'd presume that the extravagant spending on gold digging beautiful women is one of the first expense items to be cut in a recession); there were much fewer beautiful people to look at....frankly, much fewer people overall than I'd hoped. I felt pretty average among the people at Nikki Beach when I was there, which was pretty lame. If I'm average of the pack, I might as well go to the office at the accounting firm to look at them coworkers for free.

To note, Nikki Beach is certainly not the only place that is way over-priced in SoBe. I noticed the same thing at Skybar and a couple of other establishments in SoBe. The price premium probably made sense when the whole town was filled with party people, and Nikki Beach proudly hosted parties for the most beautiful of them all. Given the current economic downturn and seemingly-depressed party people traffic in SoBe (which appeared to be below the "critical mass" level this last weekend), the price really should be adjusted down, as such premium is now hardly justified. Who wants to pay $15 for a crappy martini at a bar when the place is nearly empty, and people partying around you look like your overweight auntie? I'm OK with paying $15 for a cocktail/ $35 for a brunch provided the quality is high. Unfortunately, this was not the case at Nikki Beach.

Wait until Nikki Beach (along with other comparable establishments around in SoBe) significantly improves the food quality, slashes the price, or the economy recovers and beautiful people return. Then, it may be worth it.

When surfing for things to do in South Beach, we saw Nikki Beach on Travel Channel. Of course seeing it on TV, they made it seem way different than what it was. Maybe it was because we went during Happy Hour as well.

Happy Hour was misadvertised. First it was advertised for Thurs-Sat. So we booked ours for Saturday. However, we were called back, saying they only do it Thurs and Fri now. I appreciate the call back and reschedule though, instead of just having us show up and turning us away.

For Happy Hour, you're supposed to get appetizers, and 2 drinks each. So when we got there, we were given 2 drink tickets. When we ask about the appetizers, they said we'd get a tapas plate w/ hummus, etc for 2 tickets. WTF? I thought it was free? Umm, ok. So then we try to order wine, and it said it was 2 tickets for 1/2 a carafe. You couldn't get beer with the drink tickets only well drinks with 1 mixer.

So we ordered food from the happy hour menu. I remember getting beef carpaccio, 2 kobe sliders, and a beer. I don't remember anything else...and it turned out to be $60. The beef carpaccio was brown in color, and didn't look fresh. The kobe sliders were just OK, and the fries that came w/ it were SALTY. I love salt, but not the kind of salty where your tongue hurts after. :(

So we decided to go back again the following day, before our dinner, and we were not going to purchase anything. When we tried to get the 1/2 wine carafe this time, they said it was THREE tickets. Ummm..yesterday was just 2 tickets. And the tapas were free the 2nd day. So I don't know what's up, but for sure it's not consistent.

The ambiance was mostly older people. Around 60 or 70 years old. The Happy Hour thing is a good concept, and the person who booked the reservation gets a shirt. (Tho the first day we went I got a shirt, and the 2nd day Cathy was supposed to get a shirt, but then had to ask for it later because they didn't bring it).

I think overall they need to be more consistent with their advertising. Oh, and the featured wine was FOX BROOK. $2/bottle.....so really, you aren't getting much with happy hour.....

I usually go here during the day. Always had a great time..
But this time.... I went for dinner and left super upset.
The service was horrible! We waited 20 minutes for a menu. When we did order they forgot to ask us if we even wanted to start out with a drinks. We had to remind the waitress that we wanted to drink something! I mean come on People!! The food was over priced for the what they were serving. I was just super disappointed.
Next time Im going during the day....

Gorgeous restaurant with a beautiful setting by the beach. Good looking people, very tasty food and nice presentation even though I wasn't thrilled about the live lobster gazing at me from a food plate. Of course I didn't sign his dead sentence and ordered salad instead. We had the world's most expensive salad and pizza coming to $97! Add 2 glasses of house wine, a beer and small desert to share but still. Parking is $15 at the lot but we were already parked somewhere else for the beach access.

Overall great place, hefty prices.

"Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned..." I missed Sunday mass and instead went to a hedonist paradise named Nikki Beach for the ultimate Sunday Funday affair. AND I absolutely loved it!!!

I'll admit it, I'm a sinner, not a saint and on the Sunday of my SoBe trip, I paid a visit to Nikki Beach. You can approach Nikki Beach several ways...through the beach entrance, the side entrance, or front entrance. My troop got dropped off at the front, but we decided to follow the awesome house beats to the side entrance and was immediately impressed with the ambiance.

I agree with everyone here that the pictures do NOT do this place justice! You really and truly have to experience the beats pounding in your chest with Mojito on hand while lounging there OR dancing on the makeshift dance floor. It's an experience like no other.

I believe the best part of Nikki Beach (other than the GORGEOUS bodies there, haha) is that everyone is out to have a great time! Everyone is just happy to be enjoying a Sunday afternoon drinking, laughing, dancing, and munching on good bites!

By the way, my troop did in fact get to sample the food there. When our pitchers of mojitos made us awfully hungry, we decided to get dinner there as well. We were expecting mediocre food but were surprised to actually be served very delicious and well prepared meals! I had the tempura battered cod with wedge fries & it was delish! Well worth the $17 price tag!

In the end, we even ended up partying with our server, who ended up with us at Sundance Sunday at SET nightclub later that night! Great DJ, strong mojitos, gorgeous bodies, great food, fun servers...what else could you ask for?

Nikki Beach, see you in 2010!!!

Nikki Beach had a great fashion event this past Saturday called What Women Want featuring ANK and Salinas Swimwear... They were offering complimentary champagne, cupcakes, chocolates and fruit sushi. They also had popup boutiques and complimentary manicures! The crowd was nice and then they had the after party at Club Nikki!
It was super fun!!!! Love Nikki Beach!!!

Simply stated: Nikki Beach IS Miami.

We came here on accident one afternoon when our cab driver thought my friend said "Can you take us to the Nikki Beach?" instead of "Can you take us to the naked beach?" (My friend was ALL about no tan lines.) Hands down, best mistake of the whole trip. After a full afternoon of tanning and swimming, our tummies were screaming to be fed. "Hey, let's try that place we saw on the way here."  We claim a table still in our swim suits, and end up not only loving our food, but the awesome house tunes that were bumpin' in the background. We come to find out it's a nightclub after dark, and vowed to return the next night. And return we did.

Now, about the nightclub- a few choice phrases come to mind:

"Wow, I don't see one ugly person in here."
"Damn, this music is so Euro. Kick ass."
"Is that guy really wearing a bow-tie and loafers?"
"This is one of the best clubs I've ever been in."
But mostly "GOOD LUCK GETTING IN."

I swear, we were the only Americans in "line" to get into Nikki Beach. Off the top of my head: I heard Italians, Dubliners, Danes, Greeks, Peruvians, Frenchies and Aussies all outside with us. (I think I heard three Americans inside.) And I say "line" because it was more of like one large clump of dozens of people surrounding the bouncer, trying to earn his entrance approval. After standing there like dopes for about 30 minutes, we got the bright idea to tip the dude $100 (roughly $25/person). Let me tell you, money talks in Miami. "How many of you? Four? Come on in. Have a pleasant evening."

Is $100 steep? Yes, considering there's actually no entrance fee. But we looked at as we each paid $25 cover charge. And that isn't bad all in all considering what an event Nikki Beach is. Everything is white, and the light shows are incredible. The outside porch area was a constant fluorescent pink, fitting with the humid Miami evening. People are smoking, drinking, flirting, dancing, smiling, having a wonderful time.  The drinks were actually pretty reasonable, and the pour wasn't anything to bitch about. We only stayed for maybe two hours unfortunately, due to the fact that the other people in my group didn't like it and thought it was "too Euro" (my words, not theirs). And frankly, I was almost tempted to stay by myself and fucking party till the sun came up. But I'm a good friend and tagged along with everyone else to get greasy cheeseburgers at 3 a.m.

Nikki Beach, you get an A+.
I can't wait to go back next year!
And NEXT time, I'm finding a Swede to take home with me to meet Momma. ;)

This place was my regular joint during my stint in Miami.. so much to do in South Beach but the locals raved about this place and I became a regular at this joint real fast.. refer to pics and you'll see why or maybe it was the VIP treatment they gave me from the get go.. The closest club experience to this while in T-dot would be Muzik.. minus the sand and the beach. I recommend you try a night out at this place if you are ever in South Beach.. and you will not be disappointed!!  ;)

Let me explain. Nikki beach restaurant & bar can mean many different things to many different people; so I am giving it 5 stars for the following reasons;

- It is one of the very few places in Miami where you can party, relax on the beach beds, and actually swim out on the ocean at the same place/time. Many other spots on Ocean drive are very cool, but are on the other side of Ocean drive, with the road and park dividing the establishments and beach. This place is right on the beach! Very cool just for that factor.

- If you come in before a certain time (10pm before Sunday, probably earlier on other days) there is no cover charge! They look at your ID and you are in. If you come in later (at 11pm) and want to go to the club upstairs, then you get to pay the cover charge, and you have to abide by the dress-code. If you come in earlier, there is no dress-code! No shoes, no shirt, no problem! People came in in shorts and flip-flops, & girls in swim-wear!

Now, for some issues that I overlooked, because I absolutely loved the experience I was looking for in Miami at this place; they ran out of some particular beer brands, and they closed the kitchen after 1am, but as I said, we were there on Sunday.

So, come in on an afternoon, swim in the ocean and relax on the beach-beds to your heart's content, and get your food and drinks before midnight. Do not leave the place after midnight while not dressed for the club scene, as they shall not let you back in through the front door to the main club! (Use the sides, wink wink!)

As I said, Nikki beach combines a club and ocean-swimming experience all in one. If this is not exactly what you are looking for, there are plenty of places on Ocean Drive in Miami Beach that are very specific (club, dress-up)

Dear Nikki Fail,

You are completely run down.  The wood is rotting, the place is falling apart, and the glitz and glam that once was, has been LOOOOOONG gone.  Why do you still try so hard?  Why don't you close down and renovate?  It might be your saving grace.

I used the valet here yesterday for my beach day event, and let me tell you what a total disaster that was.  I paid $20, which I was willing to do out of the convenience of being as close as possible to the beach.  I was solo yesterday and had a HUGE cooler, 2 overstuffed beach bags and an umbrella (plus my purse) that I was trying to carry all by myself to the sand.  OUCH!  Now you can see why the $20 was worth it to me.

When I get back from the beach at the end of the day, the valet manager guy looks at me and points at my car, which is parked a couple of aisles over, and tells me I can walk to it.

EXCUSE ME?!?!?  Are you insane?!?!?!  Do you think that I paid $20 so I could walk to my car after walking from the beach???  NO.  I didn't.  I paid $20 for service of having my car brought to me so that I can schlep all my stuff back into the car.

So after exchanging some words about $20 and almost getting into a nasty fight with the valet attendant, he finally brought me my car, begrudgingly.  Jerk.

Nikki, you SUCK.

Thanks for listening.

Sincerely,
SabrinaAnna*

I have never been to Miami before. Like people who see NYC in TV shows and movies and then think it's the same in real life, I did the same thing with Miami.

And Nikki Beach Restaurant & Bar is like Miami, t.v. style in my idiotic mind. Lots of open cabana like seating, fans misting water over a heated brow, lots of skin showing by the waitresses and very-buff waiters. Locals wearing just as little, lounging on day beds in front of us diners (making me want to eat even more in defiance).

Our waitress was really nice and brought me some extra ponzu/key lime sauce to dip my shrimp in. And the salad accompanying was a simple Caesar, but it was well executed. The meals of my friends were equally good and the bruschetta we shared as an appetizer was the right combo of fresh, crunchy, olive oil and tomato.

They also were doing a model search, which was hilarious as they were asking scantily clad patrons if they wanted to participate. Yeah, not me though. But it's OK. I'm OK with not being a model. Really.

It was a perfect afternoon lunch and exactly what I think of when I think of Miami.

I am a fan.

Not worthy of all the attention it gets.

Clearly a place to party and drink till you pass out. Nikki Beach is just ok because it is old, worn out and still expensive. True the location is quite nice and the bed on the sand are quite idyllic but it is so crowded on the weekend and the music is so loud you can't hear yourself talking.
I never actually had a great time except maybe at the Cosmo Bikini bash photo shoot earlier this year.
I guess you can take your friends from out of state to Nikki, it feels like Spring Break and drunken vacations.
Your choice.

OMG I love Nikki beach!!!!!

This place is so alive and happening, during the day, at night, whenever. I was there on a Saturday during the day and it was so crowded and everyone just lying on the cabana beds, which are 50 per person or free if you buy a bottle (200$+). At first we thought the waiter had said 25$ per person so we thought great, that's reasonable, but then it turned out to be 50$ which we just thought was a little ridiculous to pay for two people to lie on a bed. However, my boyfriend and I somehow charmed the male waiter into letting us having the bed for 1 cigarette, haha it was great, we tried to give him more cigarettes later and he wouldn't take them.

The atmosphere here is just as sexy as the people. And on Sunday nights, apparently this is the place to be. My boyfriend doesn't like clubbing much so we skipped the incredibly long line to enter the club and just went in through the beach side, where its entirely open to the public and chilled on the cabana beds and what not (which are free by the night!). We seriously ran around this place and mingled till 5 am. And at about 4 am I think they let us into the club without paying the cover. They were playing David Guetta, who I absolutely LOVE, so I kind of regretted not being in there earlier dancing my little butt off.

As for the restaurant, we sat on a couch and had a really casual and small meal of sushi and carpaccio, which I must say were both amazing, and mind you, I am very particular about my carpaccio. Hands down my favorite place in South Beach!!!

This is the club to be at on Sunday nights. If you get in this club, you will be surrounded by beautiful people. Guaranteed.

There was no formal line and you are hand-picked to get in. It's pretty ridiculous. I felt lucky to have gotten in, but I think it helped that I was with 3 of my gf's. If you're a guy, there is almost no way for you to get in unless you have a lot of lady friends or if you buy bottled service. Extremely pretentious.

Daytime is fab. Loved the daytime party!! WMC was amazing..Great way to start the sleepless long weekend of too much fun and sun!  Love the view, right on the beach so you can enjoy all of Miam's fantastic waters from a distance!

Nighttime..it's kinda eh, trashy. But the music was great and the dj was mashing up some good music!  We got a table away from the crowd which was nice because I hate being clustered with randoms.  3 bottles later I was up on those white cushions dancing the night away by the dj!
Con: $40 charge even though we got a table because of the size of the group..lame.

Maybe because I went during the weekend of spring break/WMC there were a lot of girls, not pretty skinny ones, bikini clad at the club and one girl was just in her underwear.  I guess she felt left out and took off her clothes.  I swear, cheetah print cheeky boy shorts from Victoria's Secret.  I saw her and went hey, I have those!

Overall, it's nice but a tad over-rated.  But then again, what isn't??

Restaurant? There's food? Haha all I need is my grey goose.

Nikki Beach was amazing. As soon as we got to Miami, people were telling us that we should hang out there during the daytime. Unfortunately we didn't get there until dinner on our last night in Miami, and it was great the second we got there. The food and food service was pretty average. Everything else was magical- the atmosphere, the tepees, the beds outside on the beach.....can't wait to go back.

I think I was in Miami during the slow season because I wasn't all that impressed. A girlfriend and I went to the upstairs club on a Sunday night around 11pm and we had to wait until about 1am before the place filled up a bit. Good music to dance to but the people around us were not good to the eyes.

On the brighter side... Look for Jimmy the Bartender, super friendly and pours great drinks! Ladies... he's good to the eyes as well ;)

Lunch at the downstairs restaurant was decent although kinda pricey.

Nikki, you're beautiful. You know people look at you and desire you when they first meet you, but the locals know better than to hang around you. They try to warn us, but we don't listen. We think they're just jaded, while you still brim over with life. You fool people who don't know your reputation. We fall for your obvious charm, the fun demeanor, and cool looks.

And then you trap us with a massive ugly bill.

And you're not worth it.

Sorry, Nikki. I know you think of yourself of some sort of high class connoisseur of the good life, but you're really a small town player pretending to be the big leagues.

The food is good, but not $33 good, which is what you charged me for brunch. This isn't including the alcohol. I'm from New York, we don't serve brunch without a free mimosa or a bellini. You even charged me for COFFEE. Nikki, don't nickel and dime us.

I won't be coming back. I'm sure you won't miss me though. There are always other tourists to beguile.

I attended a Private Party or Special Event at Nikki Beach Club on a Tuesday night. It was a nice venue for the event, the weather was great, you could walk out to the beach. The bar was very crowded since it was an open bar but it wasn't too difficult to get served.

There is valet parking or you can park at a nearby meter.

Nothing like what it was when I was 22-23. It used to be PENRODS: a place not so pretentious that had a volleyball net out back and people walked on in and hung out to relax and tan..burn, drink, tan, pick up boy/girl/bi sexual person (whatever suits the others).

I am giving this review as an opinion and please do not take my word for anything other than what it is to me: A pretentious hangout for those who want to be seen. I left Miami almost 9 years ago because I got tired of paying $20 parking and $20 covers so I could try dancing in an overcrowded dance floor or spend 30 minutes trying to get a drink or beer that would set me back no less than $8-9 (beer) or $15 for a cocktail. Fuck that. so I went to Atlanta where my money goes double and the people actually talk to you when you are not a regular of the establishment.

Very nicely decorated in white and such, the beach area is dreamy at best.

Great place to nurse a Sunday hangover and start the party all over again.

On WMC weekend it was really hard to get in but a nice bed and a few bottles seem to do the trick.

The crowd is definitely the see-and-be-seen type of crowd with a bunch of model/beautiful people type. Once you get passed that fact and start drinking and dancing to the great music you can have a blast.

The drinks at the bar are expensive but strong enough to do the job with a few.

+1 for being right on the beach so you can catch a nice tan.

Tons of beautiful people gathered in one area...showing lots of skin.  Welcome to Miami...!   It was pretty ridiculous.  At the same time though you had your share of douchie looking dudes, but that comes with the whole scene...

Came here for Juicy Beach WMC 2009, which was an EPIC party btw...Kaskade, Stonebridge, Robbie Rivera had some awesome DJ sets.  I was only outside for the party, but the place from what I saw was realllly nice.  When I think of my Miami trip...I just think of Nikki Beach.  Tons of people having fun with lots of sun, drinks everywhere, and good music.  The drinks were really pricey, but it's what I expected.

I recommend getting the strawberry mojitos at the bar outside!

Went here on a Sunday, which everyone said was the place to be.  It just wasn't anything that great.  Bottom line.  It seemed average.  Too average for "The Place To Be."  Maybe my intel was wrong as one person was pleading for me to go to Set.

It is a pretty cool venue.  Right on the beach, with lots of tables and cabana's outside for escaping the bar area.  And there definitely were some attractive girls.

Would certainly give it another shot, if nothing else is going on, as it wasn't a bad time.  But I try not to spend that kind of money on "wasn't a bad time."

wheeeerrre do i even begin?! First things first, we arrived at Nikki on a Sunday night and there really wasn't a line so I was a bit confused at first on how to get in. but then i saw that you are hand picked to get in. and by hand picked, i mean you are judged by a pretentious fuck! I had my freakum dress and it was only 3 of us ladies but unfortunately it took us forever to be picked to go in because my one friend isn't up to par for this place. the guy kept asking me how many people...2? NO! i told you 3!!! it really bothered me that he let in A LOT of dudes when it was us 3 girls...usually its the opposite! I did notice that if you had a table you were automatically in which again pissed me off because the people who reserved a table looked like TRASH! so after about 45 min (we were determined to see what the hype was about so we stayed waiting), the guy finally let us in.

now inside it was hot as balls, but as soon as i got my drink (we paid for each others rounds...2 coronas and a screwdriver which was $24...not bad) everything was allll good. the music was great. the people are beautiful and it was another "European nightmare" episode we experienced in South Beach. We ended up dancing with these Italians and it was fun at first but then they wouldnt leave us alone! the outside area was nice but it would had been even nicer if they had a fan.

Overall, i had a fun time...would i go back? probably not because its very pretentious and if they are going to be pretentious, you better give me something ive never seen before...which i have. whomp whoomp!

The photos that are up right now don't do Nikki Beach a damn bit of justice. The people here--girls and guys--are ten times hotter. Forget about ordering food; you can feast on eye candy all night long.

I came here for brunch on the Sunday after Christmas. It was an unseasonably hot day, and the bikinis and pecs were out in force. The beach area was full of gorgeous people lying on the sand or sitting on loungers, trying to shout above the electronic lounge music blasting through the sound system. On the platforms in the middle of the sand, the entertainment alternated between a jazz duo accompanying the music live and three go-go dancers--all 10's--shimmying and sashaying.

As I wasn't dressed for the sand (not to mention pasty white), I retreated to the bar. I had a mojito ($13), which was good enough. I didn't partake in the brunch, but it looked appetizing; most of the people eating food had sushi on their plates. I exchanged a few words with the people sitting next to me. They were kind of old but friendly. I hope that reflects that the crowd here--at least in the daytime--is chill.

When I return to Miami, you can bet I'll pay a visit to Nikki Beach.

I was here for the Cosmo Bikini Bash and it is a really great space.

Upstairs is definitely the lounge part of it with lots of comfy white couches and white curtains hanging down. Downstairs is the restaurant part and the bar. Outside there are tons of tables and beds and umbrellas and couches and little cabana bed things. It's right off the beach so you can lay out on the beach and quickly walk back to the bar to re-dehydrate.

5 stars alone for the insanely tan Jersey guy who proceeded to rip off his shirt on the dancefloor and pound his "Muscle Milk" protein shake without missing a beat.

I almost choked to death on my vodka/tonic.

Thanks for the memories.

I've been putting off working out for years now. However, after visiting this place a few times, I realize that now is the time.

This place is great. It is everything that you imagine Miami to be, all rolled into one. It's superficial, expensive, showy, and hot all at the same time. The drinks are CrAzY high.. I mean we are talking $70 for a pitcher. Plus, since it's hot as all hell outside, you will be drinking.

But oh lord, the people. I can't vouch for the guys, but my gf at the time completely ignored me lol.. Which is ok cause I forgot she came with me, there were so MANY good looking women there. This place is truly the land of the beautiful people. I'm surprised they let my scrawny butt in there, but hey I had plastic and board shorts so I was all in :-)

One of my favorite places in Miami to party! The place is spacious and the decor is sexy.  I love the outside area where you can chill on the beds.
And since it is situated next to the beach, it has a sexy/romantic twist to it.

I've never eaten here, so I can't review the food.  But the drinks are good, and the staff is also friendly.

Bottom line: beautiful people, beautiful location, awesome music, great drinks. What else can you ask for?

A trip to Nikki Beach can sum every reason why a person wants to be in Miami. Lets start off with the fact that it's truly built on the beach, so sip on your mojito, stare at the beautiful tanned bodies and dip your feet in the crystal blue water. Aside from the stunning scenery, they are the right place to go to unwind and soak up pure Miami Culture. My last trip was in March of 07 for business, and i'm devastated that I couldn't find the time to return this year.

If a large venue is in town (WMC, Spring Break, Exxxotica Miami etc) expect Nikki Beach to throw their infamous weekend long parties. Basically if you go there Friday you can stay till Sunday night and the music and party never stops. Feel free to close your eyes and rest on the linen clad oversized beach beds, and when you wake up the concierge will happily bring you another tantalizing drink.

This place gets 6 stars out of 5 in my book, I can't wait for my next visit

I was here for the new years eve party. Very easy to get in if you got tickets in advance even though we showed up close to 10:30PM. Drinks were reasonably priced but they didn't accept credit cards unless it was over $50. Must have been a rule just for the night?

The place was perfect for a beachy new years. Girls, don't wear your good heels, they'll get ruined in the sand (a sad sad lesson). One grievance though, the bathroom lines were horrendous! And I'm not even talking about the port-a-potties they had littered on the beach, a think I waited over 30 minutes at one point just because I needed to use the sink!

Oh, and way better than the Nikki Beach in Manhattan. Honestly, don't even know why anyone would go there if there aren't corporate events.

Ahhh the oh so famous Sundays at Nikki Beach. How I love thee...

Beautiful weather, next to the beautiful ocean, combined with beautiful people, and fabulous music! Yeah.. it's pretty much awesome. Sundays here are the best! A definite must if you are ever in Miami.

And if you just don't feel like leaving.. thats okay! The party goes on all night long. The restaurant upstairs is gorgeous and the food is delicious.

Love it!

The first time I went here for Sunday brunch was December 2 of last year, and it was happening.  The food was great, the bloody mary bars had sooo many garnishes to choose from and a very friendly & helpful bartender...and it was packed with great people watching.  It was cool coming a bit early, while the overall atmosphere was chill and relaxing and lounge-like...and there were tons of models around of both genders wearing next to nothing.  There was even one woman in the ladies room who had to show off her coke-snorting, trying to be all celebrity/high-status a la the 1980s.

When I went back some months later, the food wasn't quite as good and the bloody mary bars lost most of their fun garnishes.  There were considerably less people (and not-as-good people-watching).  I don't know if it was just the time of year or something was going down in Miami or what.  However, the mojito &  caipirinha bar (strawberry, yum) were still great.  Plus, it was cool to be able to come for brunch and then start partying once it turned 6pm...since it transforms into a nightclub/dance club.  It still is awesome to be able to spend 11am until 5am on a Sunday here if you really wanted to.

What to wear?  Swimwear, sexy beachwear or coverups, and the color white.

[P.S.  I've uploaded pics of the bloody mary bar in December...the mixer they use is the best.  I need to figure out what brand it is!  If anybody knows, please drop me a message!]

Over rated! period. I went here with a guest from out of town and I have to admit I thought this place would be better. The upstairs is ok but not worth the wait. The DJ Saturday night played some good music but otherwise I wouldn't want to come back again although I was forced to go back Sunday during the day. The outside scene was ok. This place needs a paint job BAD!!!! Now I'm no critic of the night club scene as I don't frequent them but for someone who has been in the event and design business for over a decade I thought this place would be amazing. Amazing it isn't. The drinks were watered down and overpriced. Just my two cents.

I loved the outdoor seating area near all the day beds.

Staff was friendly and attentive.

Food was expensive, but yummy. Be ware of ordering the Mojoito Pitcher, cost: $68 and you get about 5 or 6 glasses out of that. I recommend the chicken sandwich with avocados and bacon..mmmmmmmmm!

The couple next to us was in mid fight/mid break up/mid something...it was so much fun to watch. They were Cuban I believe because they were speaking Spanish. She was crying...he had a look of total concern on his face and though I couldn't hear his words he seemed to "try to convince her" of something.

Lunch AND a Novella, who wouldn't love it!!

Sure, it is overpriced.  Sure, it is superficial to the point of almost being icky, but it is also a lot of fun and about as good as this type of place can be.  Being right on the beach is a nice touch, and the numerous beds and couches for lounging really come in handy.

On Sunday, they have a good brunch, so if the weather is nice and there is enough room on your credit card, you can lounge in the sun, nibble on some tasty morsels, listen to a dj, drink a mojito and check out the scenery.

If you are going for the nightclub definitely get your but upstairs to the VIP room as fast as you can. The bottom is so sweaty, smelly and hot! YUCK, if you can't make it up there, then just stay in the back where the cabanas are...plus its free back there and just as much fun.

Upstairs however is the best, it has AC and is just well...Miami. I love it, we had so much fun, that we danced til it closed at 5 am. I would go here again!! Single ladies make sure to make friends with the single guys that have table service. *wink* - unless you don't like the Tony Montana types...LOL I think they were, a lil scary.
