Dr. Addario and his staff are absolutely wonderful! As soon as you enter the office, everyone is incredibly cordial and welcoming. The hygienists are thorough, and they didn't try to make small talk while sticking stuff in my mouth. (Don't you hate when that happens? Do they really expect someone to answer when there are tools and fingers in her mouth?!) They welcomed my questions and never made me feel rushed. And of course, Dr. Nick is fantastic. He really takes his time with each patient. Gone are the days of the stereotypical "crotchety old man inspecting your teeth." I've known him for a long time, because he used to work in someone else's dental office earlier in his career. It makes me so happy to see the success of Dr. Nick's team!
Unfortuantely, I moved to Houston four months ago. I'm sad that I'll have to find a new dentist! Waaaaah! :*-( -

After sadly leaving San Diego and having to renounce to the AMAZING Dr. Misleh, I really had no hopes in finding another great dentist like him. Boy was I wrong! Dr. Addario and his staff were great and very proffessional. Went in for a check up because I had a toothache. I called 2 days prior to my appointment and the receptionist Debrah was very efficient in getting me in ASAP. My appointment was on a friday and when I got there I think my wait time was of about 3 minutes, I love that! This place rocks!

We recently moved into the area and was in search for a kid friendly dentist for my kids. My daughter had never been to a dentist and it's been a year and half since my son went for his first visit. So they were both due to see one. A few people had recommended for us to go to Super Dentist in the Eastlake area. I just feel the place is too commercial and I don't think I would get personal service from them. Plus the reviews on Super Dentist are not very good. I opted for a small, personable office that I know I will get one on one attention.
When we walked into to the office we were immediately greeted. The staff were very friendly towards the kids. They showed the kids a treasure chest of toys that could pick from after their dental appointment and were told they would get sugar-free lollipops if they were especially good.
We were immediately called into a room especially designed for children. The room had a dental chair with a flat screen TV in front of it and on the ceiling. Nick Jr. was already showing on the TVs.
The hygeniest checked my daughter's teeth and was especially gentle with her since it was her first dental visit. The hygenist didn't overwhelm my daughter with a cleaning since she's still a little too young. My son had a blast. He had his first cleaning and he loved it. The hygenist kept telling him that she was going to "tickle" his teeth so she could clean them. It did the trick because he wasn't afraid or anything.
Dr. Addario came in once the hygenist was done with the kids. He checked both my kid's teeth and answered any questions I had. He sat with us for a while and he wasn't in rush to see other patients. I felt he genuinely cared about my family and their dental health.
My kids got thier special prize from the toy chest and a sugar-ree lollipop. Everytime we pass by the dental office my kids will often ask if they could go see the dentist. That's confirmation that I picked a really good dentist. -

I found Dr. Addario by running a search of local dentists under my dental plan against Yelp. At the time there were only 3 reviews for Dr. Addario but they were all 5 stars. I'm glad I decided to give Dr. Addario a chance. He's a wonderful doctor who actually cares about his patients. He's not like some of the other dentists I have seen who are constantly looking for a reason to charge me thousands of dollars for preventive care. He actually told me my teeth are in pretty good shape and are not in need of any costly work at the moment. He's instructed me to take good care of my teeth and I won't have to worry about costly repairs. But hey, don't listen to me, decide for yourself. I found this great video of him on google. Check it out for yourself! I'm sure you'll see why Dr. Addario is so well respected!

First off, I must say that I was completely grateful to be seen on a last minute basis on the same day! I was in immense pain from my wisdom tooth and needed emergency care. The staff at Sunbow worked me in super last minute! Plus when I got there they were very welcoming and totally knew how to ease my anxiety! I HATE GOING TO THE DENTIST!! I'm sure there are plenty of you who know how I feel! lol! Well the Dr. there is awesome, he made me laugh, I got to watch Food Network (which I love by the way), it was much easier for me to relax while watching Chopped! :o) Before I knew it I was done and outta there!
These guys are great! I totally recommend them and feel confident that you will also have a wonderfully pleasant experience! :o) -

I LOVE DR NICK ADDARRIO!! Have been seeing him for years even before he opened his own business at Sunbow!
Dr Nick and his staff are so kind, warm and help make having your teeth worked on enjoyable!!! Christina works the front desk and I always forget my appts so she calls me before to remind me and if they don't have a time they will call me if someone cancels!!
Even my husband has his teeth cleaned here and he hates having his teeth worked on!!
I won't go anywhere else and always recommend my friends and family here!! -

So stoked with Dr Addario and his staff! A total transformation has taken place for me in relation to my oral health and appearance. A year ago my mouth was in bad shape but after deep cleaning, laser gum treatments, invisalign and minor cosmetic treatment, I swear I have a movie star smile! I am so happy and pleased with the best dentist and best customer service I have ever seen in any dental or medical office! Top notch all the way! Dr Addario should have his own reality dental offiice TV show!

I heard about Dr. Nick from my book club friends 6 or 7 years ago and by the time that we had finished out the year, 8 out of 10 of the book club women were seeing Dr. Addario along with their families. My family has received consistently great care. The kids don't complain (too much) about having to go to the dentist and enjoy the TV while work is being done. I feel like Dr. Addario is a conservative dentist, never suggesting really aggressive treatment where it isn't needed. He's great with kids and explains procedures clearly. He also has a gentle touch.
His office staff is great. Debbie and Christina at the front desk are professional and great with the reminder calls! I recommend this office all the time to my friends. -

Great dentist - kind, understanding, thoughtful and professional. Seems the staff is a little disorganised, though. He did great work for me under sedation and I would recommend his work. The 4 stars are because It hink sometimes his backup in the staff is not the best.

You should only come to Dr. Addario's office if you want convenient hours, quality dental care and excellent customer service! From start to finish, you won't be disappointed. Sunbow Family Dentistry is the standard by which all health and dental care providers should be judged.
The ladies at the front desk (hi, Christina and Debbie!) are knowledgeable and friendly. There is no snootiness at this office. You are not a bother, and you'll never be made to feel that you are an imposition. They are very knowledgeable about dental benefits, will maximize and coordinate yours (if you have two or more) and are forthcoming what you will need pay. There are no hidden costs. If you have any questions, you just need to ask! You'll always be welcomed by name at each appointment. And guess what? YOU'LL NEVER HAVE TO WAIT LONGER THAN TWO MINUTES! They are prompt -- so prompt you won't have long to read the People magazine you've been dying to read (darn it!).
The hygienists and dental assistants are very awesome. (Hi, Annel, Sloan and Paulette!) Once, a temporary crown popped off several times over the winter holidays -- Debbie called me back while she was on vacation, and Annel came in on New Year's Eve to re-affix it!
Dr. Addario is knowledgeable, capable and thorough. He is patient-focused (as opposed to profit-focused), has an excellent bedside manner, and will make sure that you are thoroughly educated about your dental health. He is careful about any tooth sensitivity and will make sure that you are comfortable during any treatment.
I will never go to another dentist as long as Dr. Addario + crew are in town! -

I have been a patient of doctor Addario even before they opened sunbow family dentistry. Nick is an excellent doctor, his office is great and the staff is really kind.

its not often you meet a dentist who really cares about his patients. i have been to different dentist, but nick was the only one who truly made me feel like a person rather than a client. the work he has done on my teeth is hands down the best i have had. I don't recommend people often, but nick and his staff went above and beyond to make sure i was satisfied and comfortable with the work being performed.

I'm basing this review on just my initial dental appointment so it may not carry significant weight. Dr. Addario took his time w/ me during my comprehensive dental exam and x-ray as well as educating me about excellent and poor oral hygiene. Moreover, Debbie, the office manager, provided excellent patient service by willing to schedule my comprehensive dental exam on the same day as my professional cleaning, thus accommodating to my busy schedule. Overall, the Sunbow Family Dentistry staff debunks the adage of 'more painful than going to the dentist'.
