I love the Nice Owl! My baby shower invitations for my daughter were made by Helena and I fell in love with the design. The theme was circles, and she made circle invitations that were adorable. I went back to her when my son was born and asked her to make me special birth announcement/ baptism invitations and she stepped up to the task. I wanted something very boyish with a hand drawn truck, but also with pockets to include the announcement and the baptism invitation/RSVP card. She drew the cutest truck and put everything together so nicely.
I recommended Helena to my aunt when she needed invitations for her 25th wedding anniversary. She not only did invitations, RSVP cards, directions, but also place cards and thank you cards. One stop shop!
I would highly recommend Nice Owl Design Studio. Helena does professional job and she has a great and friendly personality to boot! -

1st attempt to contact through website email: No response.
2nd attempt called and left message: Helena did get back to me promptly after I left a message. She was very nice and professional on the phone. She sked that I email her pictures of my dress, bridesmaid dress and ideas that I was having. After speaking to her I was super excited and probably spent over a good hour attempting to put together and email to send to Helena to get started with our invitations.
Fast forward over a month later and I have not heard back from her. I emailed her 2/15/11 with my ideas and it is now 3/23/11 and I still have not received any response from her. Helena did let me know she was out of pocket but would be responsive by email.
I'm sure glad I decided to move with somebody else otherwise I would just be waiting around hoping Helena would get back to me....Listed in: My wedding adventures...the…

Helena is such a doll!! Very friendly and patient! She did our multi-lingual wedding invites and had to re-do the drafts a couple of times because of my parents, LoL! The invites came out great! Better than we expected. She really has en eye for colors and design that go together well. I can't wait to send them out! =)

Helena is truly my go-to paper girl!
Nice Owl has designed all my invitations for all my big events. From my 18th birthday party to my upcoming wedding.. I truly put all my trust in Helena. Now, its hard for me to express what's in my head and what I want on paper, but Helena somehow knows exactly what i'm talking about and is able to translate that for me to look so classy/cute/fun on paper!
I've received so many compliments on my invites and save-the-dates and I cannot wait to work with her on future upcoming events :)

Helena at Nice Owl Design Studio did my "save the date" and everyone LOVED it! From the paper to the actual design - it is just stunning!! THANK YOU HELENA!! I can't wait for her to start designing my invitations.
Helena has the type of customer service where you feel like you're working with your best friend :) I was able to get my save the dates out within a month (from conception to delivery).
UPDATE: I attached pictures of my invitations in "my photos" that Helena made as well. I wanted something very simple, functional and classy.....she made it just that. THANKS HELENA!!! -

In one word....perfect! We worked with Helena to do our wedding invitations and are absolutely in love with the way they turned out. She listened to every detail, was flexible, fair on price and ON TIME! I highly recommend her and in fact, I will be going back myself for a few added details to my wedding since she did such a good job on the invitations.

Helena did a great job on my last minute wedding programs! They were so beautiful and I got many compliments on them :)
The best part is, she did them exactly how I wanted them.
She uses the best quality paper. I also like that she is creative and the quality of her work is top notch.

She is inventive and creative, and works with any and all budgets.
I loved my save-the dates, and wedding invites. She does it all, including place cards, menus etc.
I plan to use her for my baby/birth announcements coming up. She has so many different options and choices, you can almost guarantee you'll have a one-of-a-kind invitation. -

Helena did an awesome job on our wedding invitations, programs, menus, escort cards, table #'s... etc! She is very creative and able to put together something that matches your taste. I plan on using her for all upcoming events because she's the BOMB.

i can't believe i haven't written a review yet for nice owl design studio! my wedding was back in august 2008 and helena did the invitations as well as the dinner table numbers and name place cards.
helena was a pleasure and delight to work with. she took the time to go over the designs and themes with me to ensure it was exactly what i wanted for the wedding.
thanks helena! i definitely refer her to anyone who is planning any special event. looking forward to working with you on future baby shower invites ;) -

Helena did my wedding invitations and she ROCKS! Not only is she super talented in her craft, but she's just great to be around. We developed a great friendship till this day, and I'm so thankful for that. I love her simplicity in style. Its elegant, fun, happy, beautiful, clean, and inspiring. I wish her so much success because this is the kind of woman that truly deserves it! =)

Helena of Nice Owl Design is great! She is super creative and understands the wants and desires of the bride. She just did our wedding invitations for our traditional Mexican wedding, fabulous! I had actually worked with another printer before (Paper Source on Santana Row) who messed up my order, Helena saved my invitations!!! Seriously! Helena is exacting and very professional, plus she is very nice and great to work with. Don't go anywhere else, the big places will not be able to give you the personalized service Helena at Nice Owl Design can give you, look her up and give her a call!! GREAT SERVICE!!!
