I stumbled across this vet when I had taken my dog to my groomer who had just moved. My dog had a lump on his tail and my vet wanted to charge me about $1000 to not only remove the lump, but his tail also! When I brought my dog to Kaisa (Dr. Hodgkins) she examined him and said there was absolutely no need to remove his tail and the surgery (including teeth cleaning) would be under $400!!! I ahve been going to Dr. Hodgkins since. The staff is wonderful. Andy and Larry are always so helpful. (They even helped me bring my jumangi out of the car while I was pregnant) If you're looking for aesthetics (a beautiful waiting area) this is not your place. But if you're looking for friendly staff and a wonderful vet (and a little extra money in your wallet) Newark Pet Clinic is teh place you want!
