This place is solid.  Sushi and Teriyaki snobs alike seem to agree.  Even lovers of good ol' fashioned diner grub seem to dig it.  This place makes everyone happy when I roll in to town and need to meet the co-workers for lunch.

I've had the Yakisoba, Teriyaki, and various rolls...all were quite good...although, the soba is a bit oily even for my taste...can't knock the flavor though.

Here is where the NYT excels though...patience.  A dude I work with orders saba (mackerel) every time...knowing pretty well that they more than likely won't have it.  Yeah, they should remove it from the menu...I know...still...he orders it...and as a joke, he repeatedly asks the waitress..."where's my saba?".  She handles it well.  Today he almost looked dead serious a couple of times when he asked...hell, maybe he was...point was...grace under fire.  Cool gal...I can dig it.

Portions are huge.  Prices are reasonable for the quality.  A diamond in the rough in Yakima...home of lackluster dining and the Palm Springs of Washington.

Portions are huge so even though the price seems a bit high it's a good value. The service was good and friendly. I had the special which was General Tso's chicken. I asked for it spicy and it was a little spicy - so if you're into hot hot food try asking for xtra-spicy. I thought the quality was high for Yakima Asian fare. I would definitely go again.
