1 review for New York PIzza
Warning signs:
1. Bullet Proof Glass
2. Conveyor Oven
3. They give you a little tub of "Garlic Dipping Sauce" with your pizza which is mostly made of chemicals.
The pizza wasn't the worst I've ever had. I got a small thin crust cheese. Sauce was sugary, cheese was OK, crust was crispy and thin but the texture was dense and dry. And, they don't sell slices. They should change their name to DC Pizza or Anywhere USA Pizza, because that's what it is. Cisco Pizza would be appropriate as well. This is definitely not New York Pizza.
Some advice for the owners of this place or any so called "New York Style PIzza" in DC: New York is 229 miles north on I-95. Drive there. Go to any pizza place with a name like: Ray's, Famous Ray's, Original Ray's, Famous Original Ray's, Joe's, Famous Joe's, etc, etc. Look at the oven they use, purchase a slice, eat it. Now, drive back to DC, get the right oven and adjust your recipe accordingly. It probably won't even cost more to produce than what you are paying now.
