If you've seen pictures of Telluride's main street, you've probably seen the Sheridan Hotel. We stayed here during Jazz Fest and loved being on main street, walkable to the festival, and able to enjoy all the shops and restaurants in town.
The rooms are furnished to fit the historical theme of the hotel. The bed was very comfortable, but the head board reeked of Pine-sol pretty badly...maybe they had just finished a deep clean of the room?
So why the four stars? The overnight staff turned their head when we snuck up to the hot tub after hours...that deserves an extra star in my book!
