I usually get the shrimp poboy not the hamburgers because it has longer hours and a drive through which most poboy joints don't. If you go inside you do get dress your sammiches yourself. The fries are big steak fries which I like.
Have you ever sat down to write a review and had nothing to say? What it means here is that it was not memorable at all. The burger was huge (1/2 lb) and you add your own condiments. I am not eating bread these days so I got lots of tomato, onions, lettuce. It was just OK. Better than the chains? yeah, I guess. There's just nothing here that they do specal other than huge portions.
I went because it was across the street from my hotel and they take Amex and after the flight from LA, I was beat. It served its purpose.
They have video poker too.
This place was a nice change. I had been in NO for a week and decided to check this place out. I was pleasantly surprised. They make a great burger. Give it a try if your ever in the neighborhood.
Who'd think a Jewish father and son combo could create a killer fast food establishment.....in New Orleans? On first look, this place looks like just another fast food joint only the prices are higher (and a lot of people bitch about that) but forget that for a minute and think of the you get what you pay for theory. This is a very good fast food place with a great fixins bar with fantastic chili (you'll fill up on this for sure). Never had the burgers here because I usually got the seafood dishes or the salads which are based upon the ones at Houston's for a lot less than you'd pay at Houston's. Seafood is great and you can get broiled options. It's not all fried. Definitely a major step up from McD's or Burger King for sure.
