This is undoubtedly the best Chinese restaurant in Miami Lakes area. Located in the Palm Lake Plaza, I was tipped off by a Chinese newspaper about this New York style Chinese restaurant, and this restaurant is definitely a hole in a wall, authentic Chinese restaurant. The restaurant does most of its business through take-out and delivery.

They only have three tables, each sitting 2 people, in their establishment so don't plan on coming with a big group.

As for the food, I was tempted to order from the regular menu as the lunch specials in most Chinese establishments tend to be sub-par in quality. Not only that, but the lunch menu also tends to lean Chinese-American. However, I was on a budget and also buying a friend of mine some lunch, so I had to order from the lunch menu and I was blown away by how fantastic the food tasted. The portions were more than plenty for the price and the food was simmering with flavor.

I had ordered the roast pork egg foo young and the pepper steak. They both came with pork fried rice and soup (I had chosen wonton). Even the rice was yummy and the egg foo young was the best I've ever had in a very long while.

They took a while making the food, so I'm sure that this Chinese family-owned establishment makes everything fresh.

I would definitely come back for more, and I'm willing to order from the regular menu as well.
