Review from Tarra T.
Got a deal from http://LivingSocial.com - $25 for 5 Classes. Went to a 1.5 hr Kundalini yoga class for the first time on Saturday and I was intrigued. I've practice yoga before but never Kundalini, which is more meditative and spiritual than those forms I've practiced before. The teacher was Fetah and he was very knowledgeable about Kundalini and was great with me being a beginner.
Love the space and Tatyana, the owner, is very personable and responsive. Looking forward to my next 4 classes.. -

WONDERING IF ANYONE HAS HEARD FROM NEWFIELD YOGA.....?
I paid for the entire year and this place was closed with no heads up, no calls, no emails, no letters in the mail. I hope Tatiana is reading this right now and plans to send something to all of the clients who have any type of memberships.
New Field Yoga is amazing! The studio is beautiful and the owner is so friendly and helpful! I took my first yoga class in 10 years and it felt amazing. I got a great work out and I cannot wait to go back. My body really felt the burn and the instructor was very experienced and patient!
Just an update...After I paid for a one year membership - they cut Sunday classes and unfortunately, they do not have classes past 7pm and I work late.. So I really can't take full advantage of my membership. I do love going to Donna's class on Saturdays, she is a GREAT teacher. -

I've been to 2 classes here since I bought a living social 5 classes for $25 special but probably won't continue going after my package is up.
Pros
- Nice space, very new
- Teachers are very nice, personable and get to know your name
- Great deals on classes with living social, not sure about after the promotion
Cons
- This is a more meditative/spiritual (rather than athletic) type of yoga. I guess it's about what you're looking for in a yoga class, but I was hoping for something that will help me stay in shape. The 2 classes I have been are open level, but targeted for beginners.
- Limited class schedule. They don't have any classes on Sundays, or Saturday afternoons. They have 2 classes on Saturday morning. Perhaps because of the living social deals, but the Open class on Saturday morning was very full. I was almost hitting the 2 girls next to me. I went to an earlier class this week and there were only 4 people in my class which was much better.
- Tons of construction going on in the area, so it can be distracting during class
- I live in the E Village and t's a little hard for me to get to this area on the weekend since the subways are closed - not realy their fault, but still! -
