Review from Kimberly R.
San Francisco, CA
A good dry cleaner is hard to find. I do a lot of dry cleaning and have for years. Nature's Best is absolutely hands down the best that I have ever used.
Yes. They charge a little more.
But here is what you get:
1. Customer service -
~ I moved to SF. I am still taking my items to Sunyvale to be cleaned. I drop it off when I am down there for work. It is worth it.
~ I dropped off some silk draperies to be cleaned. I was told to come back one week later after 5:00pm. I got there at 5:00. I looked at the face of the owner.... They weren't done. He knew that I was coming from SF. He asked if I could come back. That was Thursday. I told him that I was having a house warming party on Saturday. He told me that he was very sorry and that he would drive them to me in SF before my party. I left... kind of felt bad... it's a long drive. Later I called him and said that I would be in the S Bay until 9:00pm that day and that if he could get them to me by then, he would not have to drive them to SF. At 8:55pm he called me and said that he was on his way. He got there promptly. All 6 panels were done and beautiful!! YOU DO NOT FIND CUSTOMER SERVICE LIKE THAT ANYMORE - FROM ANY KIND OF COMPANY....particularly dry cleaners. He went above and beyond and I find that kind of service EVERYTIME I use them.
~They call you if they have questions about your items. They don't just plow through and clean something that may be damaged or is questionable. they actually call...
~I had a pile of damaged clothing from other dry cleaners. After having them do some items for me, I took those damaged items in to them. They took extra care and saved almost everything that I took in. You know those dry cleaners that say "that didn't happen here - it must have been stained/damaged before you brought it it." Well, no excuses here and they fixed my stuff!!! Thrilled!!!
2. Quality!!!!
~ Nothing comes back looking faded, burnt, or dull. It comes home looking as good or better than when you drop it off!!!
3. It's Green
~It doesn't smell like other dry cleaners.
~It is healthier for you and your family
~It is better for the environment and your neighbors :)
If you want a $2.00 dry cleaner... You can't complain when you don't get ALL of the above!!! You get what you pay for and at Nature's Best Cleaners - I think that you get more than you pay for!!! -
Review from Emmy D.
Originally got introduced to this place due to a groupon my hubby purchased. Since then we have been going here to take my dry cleans. Its independently owned and really close to a branch I cover in Mountain View. I come here often and drop off my dry cleans. I like how its chemically free, especially since I have very sensitive skin. Also on one of my slacks, they did a complimentary hemming which is a nice touch when you get it back.
Plus its just better for the environment. Its quite pricy but your also contributing to save this world! -

I LOVE Nature's Best Cleaners. I used to live in Sunnyvale and I used them to clean a vintage prom dress, a purse or two, and to fix a silk blouse my dad had washed in the washing machine and had therefore stripped the color. Everything came back to me in fabulous condition, but I was most in awe and thankful for what the owner did for my silk blouse. When I got it back, it looked and smelled BRAND NEW. I' used this cleaner again later and I was always happy with the results. In fact, I now live near Lake Tahoe and anytime I want something dry cleaned or fixed I want to drive all the way down to Sunnyvale to have Nature's Best take care of my wardrobe :) THANK YOU NATURE'S BEST CLEANERS! YOU REALLY ARE NATURE'S BEST!

I absolutely LOVE this place! I've been coming here for a couple years now and they are by far the best dry cleaners I've ever found. The couple who runs the place is super sweet and really cares about my garments because whatever I bring in always comes out looking brand new. I moved to Arizona over a year ago and I still bring my dry cleaning back here..that's how amazing they are!
Last month I spilled coffee on a formal dress and made the bad decision to take it to a cleaner in SF that was conveniently on the way to work. The SF cleaner not only couldn't take the coffee stain out after several tries, but they made it worse by getting even more chemical stains on the dress! I took the dress to Nature's Best and they were able to take out the coffee stain and chemical stains from the previous cleaner. So thankful!
In terms of price, my dress cost $16.50 to clean (the place in the city charged $14) so it's slightly more expensive, but so worth it since they actually clean the garments instead of ruining it even more! Plus the clothes always smell fresh and not chemical-y at all.
Oh, they recently put up a sign that says $20 minimum for credit cards so make sure to bring cash if you don't have a lot of pieces to clean. -

Update: What a joke they have so many FAKE 5 star reviews on here!!! Scroll to the last page and you'll see practically an entire page of FAKE reviews. What a sham these people are! lol
--------------
For the high prices that they charge, I expect them to have my order ready when I spend $50 on dry cleaning and specifically ask for it to be done by a certain time that they agree to. I even came in 20 minutes later, and my dry cleaning still wasn't ready. Not only that, they lost my clothes and tried to ask me to come back later after they found it! I didn't have time to make another trip back, so they said they would deliver it to my house. Next thing I know they just show up unannounced at my house, and then blame me for not answering my door when I had to leave for out of town. I don't have all day to wait for the dry cleaners to come, and they made no phone call letting me know when they were going to come. The icing on the cake was when both the husband and wife left rude voice messages yelling at me because I was not home to answer the door.
TERRIBLE, RUDE customer service! They don't deliver on time, lost my clothes and are very unprofessional. What a waste of my time.. I'll take my business else where. It's not like they're the only green cleaner around. -
Review from Eric W.
I would like to give Nature's best 15 stars because this is my third review where I rate them at 5!!!
I have continually come here for the past 3 years and have always been happy with the results. My shirts and other garments are always cleanly pressed and feel great without all those chemicals you would get from a traditional dry cleaners.
The service is always super friendly and I feel welcomed as I'm coming to a friend's home.
On top of all of this, the products used are much better for the environment and that is what originally brought me to Nature's Best.
Please consider trying them, I'm pretty sure you'll stay a customer!2 Previous Reviews: Show all »

Review from Hooria T.
I've been here a few times and on my most recent visit dropped off 5 pieces (3 dresses, 1 pair of pants, and a coat) and spent over $80 (dresses are $16 a piece to clean). Their prices are much more expensive than other cleaners, however they're very thorough.
Bottom line, I would suggest thinking twice before coming here for general cleaning, but if you have something that's really nice and you'd like to have great care taken with it, this would be your place. Otherwise, it may make more sense to go elsewhere or hand wash it yourself because it would probably be cheaper to just replace the item than getting it cleaned a few times here!
Tip:
-$20 minimum for credit card transactions (but shouldn't be difficult to hit that limit) -
Review from Johanna C.
Mountain View, CA
(Please note that this review started-off with 4-stars)
So far, my experiences with Mountain View dry cleaners have not been up to par. (Can you tell I just started golf lessons?)
And while I may only be giving Nature's Best Cleaners only 4-stars at this time, I suspect that I will bump them up to 5-stars shortly; especially since my husband believes that they should be getting at least 5-stars!
Nevertheless, I have been very pleased with their customer service and by the quality of their work. Here are only a couple examples of their terrific work.
Let's start-off with the story that my husband just shared with me...
He arrived to Nature's Best Cleaners 5 minutes after closing and despite his better judgment, waved his dry cleaner ticket at the owner who was pulling-out of the parking lot. She proceeded to re-park her car, get out of her vehicle, and took his ticket. Before he knew it, she was handing his dry-cleaned apparel to him. Obviously, he was very thankful and apologized for his persistence.
Now you tell me, how many business owners do you know that would do that when they're 2 seconds from exiting the parking lot after a long day at work?
Recently, I picked-up some dry-cleaning from them which consisted of several pairs of slacks and work shirts. When I got home to re-hang everything, I noticed that Nature's Best Cleaners had re-sewn missing buttons onto a couple pairs of my slacks and onto a shirt as "Complimentary Repairs." That's awesome!
And finally, the owners of Nature's Best Cleaners are just fantastic at what they do; not to mention that they go above and beyond your expectations. That most definitely deserves 5-stars!
Okay fine...I just convinced myself to change my original 4-star rating to 5-stars. And as Yelp would say, "Whoohoo! It's as good as it gets!" -
Review from Sarah d.
Sunnyvale, CA
When we first moved to the area, we were frantically trying to find a good, environmentally-friendly cleaners. We found Nature's Best Cleaners on Yelp, and thank goodness for that.
Every time we need our down comforter cleaned, we take it here. We've got a collection of duvet covers to protect it from getting too dirty, but we've got two dogs that are out to make everything dirty no matter what we do! As a matter of fact, when we were potty training our 2nd dog, he had an accident on the bed! YIKES! ...so I took it in to get cleaned here.
They get it done super fast, and their prices are affordable.
I haven't tried their other services, but down comforters are totally worth it here. -
Review from Lihong F.
Mountain View, CA
I am changing this review, since the shirts come back nice and neat.
I found this store on yelp, and give it a call, ask how much is to dry clean a work shirt, a woman answer said, 1.95 usd per, and 10% off for new customers. I called them again to find out what time they close, and this time is a chinese guy answered, I confirmed with him the price too. my boyfriend went there today and they said it is 5 dollars per piece, there is no way we are doing 50 shirts in 5 dollars. it is cheaper to buy new ones.
He said it is 1.95 to cleaning, but not dry cleaning. So yelpers, be care what they tell you on the phone, they will say sorry my English is not good, but the convenience is yours.
we did it there anyway, it is too much to carry the so many shirts back, we will see what will happen to the shirt. -

I've been going here for a couple of years and I feel a little bad that I haven't written a review before now. These folks are fabulous.
I bring in dress shirts and get them back looking great -- two years and not a single pressed-in wrinkle. And I can't even begin to describe the care that they take with my suits and sportcoats. Guys, if you're tired of getting your fine jackets back with the lapels hammered flat, get in here!
They do great things to outerwear, also. I brought in a lined Burberry trench coat that I picked up while thrifting, and they made it look like new, including taking the liner out and pressing/cleaning it separately.
Oh, and nice, friendly, and helpful! -

Sunnyvale, CA
I brought my first load of winter sweaters, dresses and scarves in and didn't find them to be any more expensive than the dry cleaner I used in the last 5 years in downtown Mountain View. We'll be coming back here again since it's much closer to home/work. What I really liked about this place:
- the place is bright and well lite, and no chemical smell since they don't use any chemicals:-)
-great custoemr service, I especially like it that they use electronic order entry and print out your orders/receipts -

The work is great - no complaints. They do same day service if you get there before 10am. Prices are reasonable. And they give a 10% discount to first time customers.
My only issue - the lady kept telling me how to pronounce MY last name. I kept saying "Tang". She kept saying "Tong". Her justification, "That's how it's pronounced in China."
1. We are not in China.
2. It's my last name. -

Absolutely the best dry clean place to be, I have never seen a cleaner that's able to take off the most disgusting sweat neck line then this cleaner and truly reasonable price too! I think I just found my favorite cleaner in the southbay....=)

San Jose, CA
No smell after my garments came out, which was great. I also took a couple of things (leather trims, unconventional materials, etc.) there but was not sure if they could be cleaned, but the owner took a look and said he would do his best. They turned out to be good, and nothing was ruined.
Watch the price though. Once the owner took my clothes and later his wife adjusted the price without telling me -- and she adjusted it wrong! It was much later that I discovered it when I found the original ticket, and she only tried to justified the adjustment from her memory and offered no credit nor apology! Please let me know if anyone finds another green cleaner! -
Review from Erin H.
if you're nervous about what chemicals go into dry cleaning at other places, this is the cleaner for you! i typically "air out" my dry cleaning for at least a few days after i get them back, but i don't feel the need to do that with clothing i get cleaned at Nature's Best. They just come back feeling fresh and smelling clean!
they can be pretty pricey ($15.50 for a short silk dress - i could just be behind the times in dry cleaning prices tho) and they sometimes try to push back the date i can pick up my clothing when i'm dropping it off (but it seems fairly negotiable). overall, the quality and green-ness are worth it.
never brought anything with huge stains in it, so i don't know about their ability to get really tough stains out. however, there was one time when i arrived and one of my pieces (a dress) wasn't ready yet. they were very apologetic and ended up dropping it off at my house later that night! that's good service! -

The dry cleaning was decent but the alteration service was horrible. After they did the alteration incorrectly (we measured the alteration together and they agreed it was wrong) and agreed to re-do the job, they later called me back with a change of heart saying that their ruler was "broken" and that it was done correctly. I spent over 5 minute arguing with the lady who kept claiming her ruler was broken because their employee didn't want to spend time to fix their mistake. What nonsense!!! I've lost all faith in the ability of this place to do alterations correctly. My girlfriend and I do not want to risk taking any of our clothes here again.

Sunnyvale, CA
I have tried many cleaners in the area and they are the best I have found. I used to always worry when I brought my custom tailored suits and shirts in for dry cleaning. But I don't have to worry when I bring them to Nature's Best Cleaners. They do a great job and my suits and shirts are always returned in perfect condition. It's true that they charge a bit more than other places, but the amount of care and the attention to detail given to my clothes makes it so worth it. I especially like how they always put a collar button support in all my shirts after they are pressed so gravity doesn't pull down the collar area if I leave the shirt hanging in my closet for a while. Also, they use a light clip to hold the pressed sleeves together in front of the shirt; I really like this for the same reason as the collar button support they use. I have a bunch of shirts and I like to rotate through them and these couple of extra things they do makes certain that my clothes stay perfectly pressed.
I recommend this place to all my friends and family. Its the only place I trust with my expensive suits and shirts. -

Things that makes me prefer THIS cleaner over others:
- They are dependable: delivered when they said they would deliver.
- They are honest: told me the price up front for cleaning some fur coat (which they outsource). Also recommended to me to not get real fur next time because it is too costly to clean them.
- They are organized: always in-and-out within 5 minutes. They know what they are doing and they know where things are at.
- They spoke good english: Chinese owned but unlike a lot of the other places owned by other Asians, I was able to communicate with them in English withough any problems. No need for Engrish here.
- No chemicals: YAY!
What more can you ask of a cleaner? -
Review from Tom B.

I have a $1K two piece suit that just can't be taken to any ordinary dry cleaner. The suit was returned in 3 days and they did an excellent job (smelling fresh, wrinkle-free). In addition, I was quite late getting out of the office and wouldn't make it to the cleaners before they closed. Yet, I desperately needed my suit for a trip to the East Coast. I called ahead and the owners were willing to stay open a whole 40 minutes later so I could retrieve my suit. 5-star dedication and service. There's no question why they have such high ratings on here.
After my experience with Nature's Best, I can confidently rely on them for my high-end dry cleaning needs. -
Review from Kathleen M.
San Jose, CA
I love using an environmentally friendly dry cleaner! Nature's Best really takes pride in being green and is one of the first cleaners in Santa Clara County to use a non-chemical process.
The good news? My sweater looked very very clean (unlike when I used $1.50 Cleaners in Belmont or whatever price they're up to now). Oddly enough, even though I dropped off my sweater at Nature's Best a month before, when I came in the chick behind the counter recognized me and described the sweater in detail before retrieving it. Yowza.
The other good news? Great customer service. There is also a different monthly special coupon on the website. New customers get 10% off their order, although for some reason this didn't apply to me. She said I could use the discount next time (maybe it's meant for your second order?)
The only bad thing? The prices are a little on the high side (about $5-$6 per shirt).
UPDATE:
They cleaned two stains from my favorite silk top (instead of some places that instead dry clean the stain into the fabric forever), and I can't even see where the stains were now. This is now my most trustworthy cleaner for cleaning my clothes (and not just taking the stink out). -
Review from MIA N.
Fantastic! I used to take all his suits here and they come back in great condition. I still haven't taken my items here but it's on the list! I have to admit I initially took his stuff here as a test because I didn't want anything to happen to my stuff. LOL.
They try their best to get the job done. I've never been let down, especially in a time crunch. I don't know how with all the clothes they take in, but they always manage to get it done when you need it!
I recommend coming in before noon if you want it the same day, most likely you'll be able to get it by 5pm. -
Review from Brenda T.
Hayward, CA
I take my clothing here for dry cleaning service a few times a month. I've always been satisfied with the customer service here, as well as the turn out of my items of clothing. I don't know what they use, but my clothes come back feeling and smelling super fresh. It gets a bit obsessive because after I get my clothes back, I can't stop sniffing my clothes because it just smells so good. I also love how my clothes come back looking brand spankin' new, just like I bought it from the store. They're miracle workers, I tell you.
Alongside to that, they also offer same day service as long as you get your clothing in before a certain time. -
Review from Leena M.

Go to this dry cleaner if you care about the environment and your health! They are the only green dry cleaner in the area and do not use harmful chemicals. Unlike most dry cleaners, they do not send their clothes out to be cleaned.
Plus, it is a family owned place and the owners are really nice people. -
Review from Kathy S.
WOW you guys rule! I found this place on Yelp and got the 10% first time discount. I got my jeans dry cleaned here and they did an excellent job. They actually looked brand new! I almost couldn't recognize them.
Bonus that they're green.. I didn't even realize that until after the fact.
I also like how they answer the phone whenever you call. I called them 3x with stupid questions the same day and they were patient and answerd my idiotic questions.
And, if you're like me and lose your ticket, not to worry.. you can always use your last name :) -
Review from J O.
Santa Clara, CA
Very reliable and dependable cleaner.
I took two winter coats there, one black and one white. Let's just say that I haven't cleaned these in a number of years, and decided it was time. When I got them back they were brand new, esp my white coat. The cuffs didn't look dingy anymore.
I used to work for a local commercial popular dry cleaner in my college days and know what good quality is.
At Nature's Cleaners, your garments DO NOT smell of chemicals and the clothes come back soft and brand-new like.
Their pricing is reasonable. My two coats were $35
I highly recommend them! -

Now that I'm a mother of two, I have no concept of time. I no longer keep track of the days and my time is split up between feeding, snack, play, nap, bath, and sleep times. Is it then a surprise that when I finally manage to muster up a dry cleaning pile (Mom's don't have that much because COTTON is a mom's best friend) AND find the time to drop it off that it was a SUNDAY?
Needless to say, I didn't know and went about my business as if it were a weekday. I even had the audacity to request that they dry clean my stuff ASAP. The owners were so gracious and were so nice they didn't even bother to tell me they were closed. In fact, they didn't even bring it up!
The only way I knew it was a Sunday was when the lady told me she could have my dry cleaning ready by tomorrow: MONDAY. Oh, the embarrassment. Of course, I forgot the time and picked my dry cleaning up on a Wednesday instead.
I give them three stars for their wonderful patience and kindness towards a discombobulated mom. One additional star goes to the clean, fresh and wonderful smell of my dry cleaned items, and one star goes to them for helping out the Earth. Be warned though, this place is a little pricey but well worth it. -

Very friendly staff! I've gotten mostly button-up shirts done here, with 98% perfect rating. Last time they did an ok job, when they have always been amazing. Make sure you bring up any specific spots and they will be straight forward with you about wether they can get it out... even if they say they probably can't, they will try...
Love that they are green, and have a fast turn over time. -
Review from Nancy L.

Seriously. If it's possible to "love" a dry cleaning facility, then I looooove Nature's Best Cleaners. LOVE IT!
The owners are super super friendly. All new customers get some % discount for their first service. The prices are really reasonable, especially for a business that doesn't use typical dry cleaning products. (Yes, it is a certified "green business" and you'll see the proof when you enter the store.)
BUT, what REALLY matters is that my clothes are clean and they smell NICE and CLEAN when I pick 'em up. None of that typical dry cleaning chemical-and-moth-ballish eau de parfum scent.
Now I can breathe easily and breathe deeply after entrusting my precious clothes to a dry cleaner. Ahhhh. Lovely. -

Rock on! Super friendly staff who are amazingly good at remembering faces, and you will never be disappointed with their work. It may be a bit expensive, but my shirts come back meticulously pressed, starched, and pristine every time. They even got blood stains out of my white Zara shirt from a mishap in Vegas.
I should also mention that I NEEDED my sexy black shirt before a night out on the town, and realized I hadn't picked it up until after they closed...but I called them, and still being there, they agreed to wait for me as I hauled ass to the store to pick up my goods. Now that's customer service. -

What a rip off. They forced me to pay $5 to lint my jacket before washing... otherwise I would have to pay $10 to have it washed separately. The prices are way inflated! SKIP!

This place is great. My mom has a wool skirt from the 70's that had some pretty resistant stains that had been there for the last 20+ years. This place was able to get ALL those stains out, reverting the skirt back to its original color. It was impressive, to say the least.
This place IS a bit expensive for my tastes, and while I'll admit that I've tried other less-expensive cleaners, I keep coming back to this one because they do a really good job. -
Review from Catherine N.
San Jose, CA
First few months, the service was decent. After that, I began having issues with the quality and service.
Problems include:
1. Several shrunken wool/cashmere sweaters (they tried to fix but could not)
2. Small holes what used to be perfect sweaters
3. They broke a one of a kind button on my expensive designer jacket
4. Remember to count your clothes every time you come in for a pickup. They don't always remember to give you everything.
After I came home from a pickup, and a few days later, realized some items were missing. My fault, I should've counted.
Anyway, I called and Megan found the missing items.
However, when I came in to pick up, Megan asked me to pay for the items again, eventhough their computer showed (and I know) I'd paid for everything the first time. The total amount due's on the receipt. How could I not have? I tried to reason, but she did not want to listen. No apology either.
Bottom line is.. She's greedy. Too bad, I did not see the warnings. Should've read other people's past reviews. They alll said the same.
I am taking my clothes elsewhere! -

This cleaners is by far the best my clothes have ever experienced. I took some of my pricier tops with beading detail. I had some very bad experiences with my tops being ruined by incompetent dry cleaners. I explained my concerns to the nice woman, and she told me to rest assured that my tops would be fine. My clothes were returned to me in pristine condition. Not a bead was missing, or damage. I thank Yelp for aiding in my search for a cleaners who will not ruin my wardrobe.
Yes, they are not cheap but when you invest in quality clothes shouldn't you take care of them? It is well worth the extra cost to me. -

I dropped off four amazing tops and one dress, some of which I had all but given up on (one had bled blue die from it's cloth-flower detailing to spots on the rest of the shirt, others had oil marks). They gave me their new-customer discount, and the total was very affordable. I got them back quickly, AND every spot was gone! Totally worth it. The people are kind, and they remembered me. And somehow their magic works without chemicals, which makes me feel better about the longevity of my clothing and the environment :)

My clothes always come out so clean and smelling great! I am so glad to have a truly green dry cleaner so close to me. What I like most is that Nature's Best really try hard to get all the stains out.

Just read the rest of the reviews. It says it all. My white shirts have never been whiter (they even got stains out of my white linen pants that had been set in for YEARS.)
I had also accidentally shrunk a couple of my dress shirts, and I knew they had a machine that could stretch them back out without warping the shape. Suddenly, 3 of my button downs can now be worn with suits again because the sleeves are long enough.
Can't say enough positive things about this place other than I moved, and I still drive 20 minutes out of my way to take my clothes here. :) -

Nature's Cleaning is good. I mean when you put your clothes in there, you can feel comfortable that they will come out to the highest quality. I do not even know what the difference is between eco-dry cleaning and regular dry cleaning, but all I know is when I go here, I expect my clothes to be fresh and starched.
Quality does come at a price though. The econess has a premium already I think. -

GO GREEN!!!...
I paid a little more than you would usually pay at a dry cleaning place. But it was totally worth it. Knowing that it is eco-friendly and everything gets clean and soft... totally worth the money.
Friendly staff and fast...
