46 reviews for Nature's Best Cleaners
One of the Business' Favorite Reviews What's This?
Fantastic! I take all his suits here and they come back in great condition. I can't wait to take my dresses here!! I have to admit I took his stuff here as a test because I didn't want anything to happen to my stuff. LOL.
They try their best to get the job done. I've never been let down, especially in a time crunch. I don't know how with all the clothes they take in, but they always manage to get it done when you need it!
I recommend coming in before noon if you want it the same day, most likely you'll be able to get it by 5pm.
My clothes always come out so clean and smelling great! I am so glad to have a truly green dry cleaner so close to me. What I like most is that Nature's Best really try hard to get all the stains out.
Note: They give discounts to first timers.
I just got back my first dropoff of items from the cleaner's this morning. I'm really glad this place is close to home. I had been using Diamond when I was in San Jose, and had been wanting the same quality and care up here. This place is phenomenal. When I walked in, the woman behind the counter set everything aside to explain how they ran their cleaner, what they did in terms of timing, pickups, and special instructions. 4 day turnaround for 3 pants, 5 shirts, and a suit coat and all for about $30.
The quality was superb. Green chemicals tend to be not nearly as good at getting things out, but I'm really happy with everything. There wasn't any yellowing of the whites, and any minor scuffs on lighter pants were easily lifted out. They simply did a spectacular job. While I have rare cause to wear the more formal stuff, I know where I'll be taking it after the fact.
In a crunch, they can turn things around really quickly. I've never needed it, but knowing it's there is quite a comfort.
Rock on! Super friendly staff who are amazingly good at remembering faces, and you will never be disappointed with their work. It may be a bit expensive, but my shirts come back meticulously pressed, starched, and pristine every time. They even got blood stains out of my white Zara shirt from a mishap in Vegas.
I should also mention that I NEEDED my sexy black shirt before a night out on the town, and realized I hadn't picked it up until after they closed...but I called them, and still being there, they agreed to wait for me as I hauled ass to the store to pick up my goods. Now that's customer service.
I've been to 6 different dry cleaners in the area and this one is by far the best. Reliable service and my clothes don't come back with a chemical smell.
If this place was run by white people, I'd knock off a star because of all the nosy questions, but since they're Asian and I'm Asian, they're just doing what they think I expect. Their service is so good, I'll just have to put up with the annoyance factor.
Due to all the raving reviews from fellow Yelpers, I brought my suit here for dry cleaning prior to an out-of-town wedding.
As I dropped off my suit, I was warmly greeted by the owner's wife. She was super nice and friendly. Her husband also came out to explain how this dry cleaner is the only one in the South Bay that is EPA approved as green!
When I picked up my suit, it was nicely pressed...and had no odors! :D
Nicely done! :D
I live in Palo Alto and have frequently changed dry cleaners because for one reason or another, I'm unhappy with the outcome of the clothes. I decided to try Nature's Best Cleaners because I was drawn to their environmentally friendly way of dry cleaning clothes. I read some of the reviews on Yelp and saw they had a lot of good feedback. Based on the reviews, I brought 42 pieces of clothes for them to dry clean on my first visit (I only know the number because it totals it on the receipt). They did an amazing job - I brought them a couple difficult garmets that had stains on them I was not able to remove in the washing machine and they got them out! I was really impressed to say the least and also like that they are green.
I love nice smells, especially on nice clothes. NBC impressed me when I picked up my shirt it smelled fantastic.
They have a really cool computerized system so I feel confident that they will not lose anything. I am also a fan of the quick and friendly services.
I noticed that when I went to pick up my Ella Moss knit tube top, it seemed slightly damp. I had also forgot to undo the knot that "holds" the top together, so when I undid it afterward, it was unusually wrinkled. I forgot to think about this in the first place, so it is understandably my fault. Lesson learned, and I will definitely be back soon with my knot undone!
I can't remember the last time I had my down jacket cleaned, if I even did. That may have been since I bought it, which was err, 10 years ago. It was about time I took that jacket in for some serious elimination of stains, odors, and with that, memories of my journeys from Europe, Asia, and the East Coast to the West. Oh how I remember my first weather shock of experiencing temperatures below 60 degrees and thought I just wanted to die from the pain, which prompted me to get to the nearest EMS store for gear that would be sufficient if I was stranded alone on a snow enveloped mountain. Since then, I have moved on to other coats and winter outerwear, but this one, this one's a keeper.
I have given the test to Nature's Best, wondering how much it was going to cost, how it would smell, and how much down feathers I would lose in the process. Not too bad (for the cost)! I don't remember how much I paid, but with a suit, and dress shirt, and 10% discount, it was $30. I remember paying more for the dress shirt alone at the previous green cleaners on Saratoga Ave. The smell was like that one commercial, where I just wanted any excuse to sniff my jacket. And the feathers seem like there mostly there, it's been "shedding" on its own, so I'll have to wear it in extreme weather to really know. The owners are genuinely friendly - and all that made me decide where I'm taking my dry cleaning now.
This place does a great job cleaning my husbands suit! I guess they aren't technically a "dry" cleaner, but the suit is clean and not damaged in any way by the washing. I go here for the environment-friendly-ness. The counter woman is always really nice and gets the suit done as fast as I need it.
I absolutely love Peter and Megan, they always return my clothes to me perfect! They have even removed stains that other cleaners told me they could not get out. I stopped by on a Sunday... not knowing that they were closed and because they were in the building they took the shirt and tie I had with me... super customer service. And my clothes smell clean and fresh, no chemical smell at all.
If you have sensitive skin (like me) have no fear, I have never had a breakout since changing to Natures Best.
Megan even remembers me even though I am not there super often.
I will never take my clothes to another cleaner again! Natures Best is the only cleaner anyone should be using.
Great family owned business. The owner and his wife really go out of their way to make sure customers are satisfied and the quality of the work is just amazing. A few weeks ago I asked the owner if they can stop by my place of work and pick up/ drop off my drycleaning, and they agreed (without a delivery fee even!). Now my boss is doing his drycleaning there and both of us are looking very 'sharp' lately.
Keep up the good job Nature's Best!
Tareq
Megan and Peter have a fabulous GREEN cleaners! I have taken him all kinds of clothes that had various stains and he never fails to return my clothes sparkling. Absolutely remarkable! They are reasonable and love what they do and they are certified green cleaning. Top notch!!! Alas, no more chemicals! Woo hoo!
I wish I could add another star! After over a year I am still extremely happy with the quality and service I get at Nature's Best. You really can tell the difference between their process and a traditional cleaners!

Now that I'm a mother of two, I have no concept of time. I no longer keep track of the days and my time is split up between feeding, snack, play, nap, bath, and sleep times. Is it then a surprise that when I finally manage to muster up a dry cleaning pile (Mom's don't have that much because COTTON is a mom's best friend) AND find the time to drop it off that it was a SUNDAY?
Needless to say, I didn't know and went about my business as if it were a weekday. I even had the audacity to request that they dry clean my stuff ASAP. The owners were so gracious and were so nice they didn't even bother to tell me they were closed. In fact, they didn't even bring it up!
The only way I knew it was a Sunday was when the lady told me she could have my dry cleaning ready by tomorrow: MONDAY. Oh, the embarrassment. Of course, I forgot the time and picked my dry cleaning up on a Wednesday instead.
I give them three stars for their wonderful patience and kindness towards a discombobulated mom. One additional star goes to the clean, fresh and wonderful smell of my dry cleaned items, and one star goes to them for helping out the Earth. Be warned though, this place is a little pricey but well worth it.
I take my clothing here for dry cleaning service a few times a month. I've always been satisfied with the customer service here, as well as the turn out of my items of clothing. I don't know what they use, but my clothes come back feeling and smelling super fresh. It gets a bit obsessive because after I get my clothes back, I can't stop sniffing my clothes because it just smells so good. I also love how my clothes come back looking brand spankin' new, just like I bought it from the store. They're miracle workers, I tell you.
Alongside to that, they also offer same day service as long as you get your clothing in before a certain time.
My first mistake: Buying a sweater off of eBay without first seeing pictures. It came with a mysterious and unidentifiable stain that "may or may not be removed with cleaning." Wonderful.
My second mistake: Wearing expensive shoes out on a night on the town (town being Vegas). Water stains, alcohol stains, who-knows-what-else stains which were further exacerbated by my version of spot cleaning (i.e. furiously scrubbing under a running faucet).
I drove all the way from San Jose to Sunnyvale just because they were so well reviewed and I needed my precious shoes to be spotless again. The woman behind the counter was EXTREMELY nice and accommodating. They took a look at my sweater and said it definitely could be done (even though I had no idea what this strange stain was from...didn't want to know anyway). The shoes, which were silk satin, I just assumed would be cleanable since it was a fabric. They've never done shoes before (in their defense, it's a strange request) but they said they would try their hardest to do it.
I came back a week later and BOTH the sweater and the shoes were SPOTLESS. I was so happy with the sweater, but I was ecstatic about the shoes. I was just about to dump them before I brought them in, but they were saved! :D Hands down, this will be the only cleaner I'll go to from now on. I fully believe they can get ANY stain out.
Lesson learned: no more drunken nights in Vegas with $$$$ shoes. It would be quite embarrassing to have to bring them in for a second round.
WOW you guys rule! I found this place on Yelp and got the 10% first time discount. I got my jeans dry cleaned here and they did an excellent job. They actually looked brand new! I almost couldn't recognize them.
Bonus that they're green.. I didn't even realize that until after the fact.
I also like how they answer the phone whenever you call. I called them 3x with stupid questions the same day and they were patient and answerd my idiotic questions.
And, if you're like me and lose your ticket, not to worry.. you can always use your last name :)
In my day-to-day life, I am not a fancy-pants kind of girl.
Don't get me wrong -- I love to play dress up every now and again, but between working with kids and living the grad school life, my frilly frocks and take-me-seriously suits are rarely removed from the closest. Still, I count on them to occasionally elevate me from my jeans and sweatshirt existence. This is probably why that mysterious stain on my favorite white lace skirt sent me into a panic.
How long had it been there?! (Well, it's been at least two years since I wore it, so... at least two years probably?)
What WAS that spot anyhow?! (Coffee? Soy sauce? Caramel syrup?)
Could anything be done?!
The last one is what really stumped me. However, after Yelp's help, I found Nature's Best Cleaners and decided I had to try it. I mean, really -- eco-friendly? All 5-star reviews? 10% discount off my first time in? Quick turn around? NEAR MY HOUSE?! Done!
Armed with my white skirt and all of my other pretty things, I set out to do my annual dry cleaning run. They were super nice, extremely patient as I cataloged every stain/mar/issue, and reasonably priced ($50 for four dresses, a pair of pants, and said skirt). I left pleased and hopeful.
And when I got my things back? MAGIC! Everything looked brand new and smelled so fresh, so clean, so fancy. I'm sold.
Would have liked to get my wife's dress cleaned here, but things didn't quite work out. After describing the dress on the phone and having an estimate of $10, drove 25 minutes out since it had such great reviews. Staff was friendly enough, but ignored me twice when I asked her to confirm the price, and she only told me that it would be "at least $50" whilst ringing me up! How can the price be be "at least" anything, and why was it 5x her phone estimate? When confronted about this, she only replied that this would have to be cleaned separately and had no explanation for the disparity in price with her phone estimate. Also, they don't clean on Saturdays or Sundays, so if you want you're expecting your laundry to be cleaned on Saturday, you'll be rather disappointed. The deliver by 10a, pickup by 5p that they tout on their website is apparently Mon-Fri only. I tried to bring in my clothes on a Friday afternoon, and they said the earliest it would be available is Monday evening. Total waste of time. I certainly won't ever be going back. Discount of 10% for first timers is great but not when they jack up the price 500% after you've wasted half an hour driving out there.

I love using an environmentally friendly dry cleaner! Nature's Best really takes pride in being green and is one of the first cleaners in Santa Clara County to use a non-chemical process.
The good news? My sweater looked very very clean (unlike when I used $1.50 Cleaners in Belmont or whatever price they're up to now). Oddly enough, even though I dropped off my sweater at Nature's Best a month before, when I came in the chick behind the counter recognized me and described the sweater in detail before retrieving it. Yowza.
The other good news? Great customer service. There is also a different monthly special coupon on the website. New customers get 10% off their order, although for some reason this didn't apply to me. She said I could use the discount next time (maybe it's meant for your second order?)
The only bad thing? The prices are a little on the high side (about $5-$6 per shirt).
UPDATE:
They cleaned two stains from my favorite silk top (instead of some places that instead dry clean the stain into the fabric forever), and I can't even see where the stains were now. This is now my most trustworthy cleaner for cleaning my clothes (and not just taking the stink out).
I'm always hesitant on trying a new cleaner. I have this fear of my clothes smelling like chemicals or having my sweaters change forms. I definitely do not want to air out my clothes after having it dry-cleaned. But thank goodness, Nature's Best Cleaners did not fail me. To date, I've brought in sweaters, dresses, and coats to dry clean and each time they come out looking like new. They can have it completed by next day without a rush charge. Pretty cool! The owners are very nice. Only gripe-after changing jobs, this location is far from where I am so I'm not sure if I'm really going green if I have to drive such a long distance.
WE HEART NATURE'S BEST CLEANERS! Another evening at a wedding. A friend spilled red wine all up and down the front of my white canali shirt. No worries at all! Nature's best was able to bring the shirt to its brand spanking new look. They said they had to specially treat the shirt w/ extra solutions. Did not charge me a penny extra for doing that. Service like that is hard to find. THX NBC!

GO GREEN!!!...
I paid a little more than you would usually pay at a dry cleaning place. But it was totally worth it. Knowing that it is eco-friendly and everything gets clean and soft... totally worth the money.
Friendly staff and fast...
I love this place. My clothes actually smell and feel clean when I pick them up - not all chemically like other places. And with their whole "green" thing going on I feel ok about going there.
They're pretty awesome, and nice.
One of the best cleaners i've ever been to. My clothes always comes out top notch. No chemical smelling clothes is awesome. Little pricey compared to other cleaners, but their quality far exceeds the cheap cleaners. I love the fact that I don't have to air out my clothes for a few days to get rid of all the chemical smells. Once I tried out this place, I have never taken my clothes to any other cleaners.
I recently moved to the area and searched yelp for a dry cleaner and this looked like the best one and I was not disappointed. I dropped off dry cleaning and a pair of pants for alteration. The dry cleaning was in immaculate condition and excellently packaged for transport. The alteration was excellent, she didn't ask and I didn't say whether I wanted a cuff or not so she called me and made sure what I wanted. The people that work there are amazingly nice and on the phone and in the store we have had wonderful exchanges. I will be going again as soon as I have something to clean!!!
Still great, and after a few visits gave me a nice laundry bag to store my shirts in. Very sweet couple who know how to treat their customers!

Decided to try it out after reading other great reviews and I was extremely satisfied. Great service and they WILL give you 10% off for your first time. My clothes looked and felt like new afterwards and didn't smell like anything at all! I sat on a cranberry (and it was pretty smooshed in there) and had some mud on the bottom of my slacks and everything came out! Well worth the $5 for slacks/sweaters. I'm never going anywhere else! Why chance it when it comes to your clothes??
Wow! I wasn't even out the door of this place (when dropping off my coat) and they were already tightening up a loose button on it before they sent it back for cleaning. Okay so I'm really glad to have the choice to use a Green cleaners like this. I'd probably come here just for that reason but on top of that they do a really great job. And this is super embarrassing, but I went around for the day after picking up my coat making everyone smell it. Your clothes smell GREAT when they come back from here. Complete opposite of the typical dry cleaning experience. Check this place out, you'll be glad you did.
I'm not a fan of dry cleaning in general, but I have a silk blanket that my parents used when they got married. It hasn't been washed in years and I thought that I'd get it properly dry cleaned for sentimental reasons.
I took the blanket in (along with a flower girl's dress). The owners were reluctant to take the blanket. They said that it is silk on the outside but cotton on the inside. The cotton would become very heavy when it absorbs the water and the threads that hold the silk together may break apart. She said that I would need to have it mended before it gets laundered. I was glad that they communicated to me upfront what potential issues may be. I told them to go ahead with it since I can't launder it myself anywhere else.
The price is steep to launder a blanket. I think I was quoted $50. They did give me a huge discount on the flower girl's dress (only $6.50) and I got the 10% first time customer discount.
They also asked me to give them two weeks because the job was so difficult. Two weeks later my fiance went to pick up my blanket and dress for me. They told me that the colors may bleed so they didn't go ahead with the blanket. I really wished that they emailed or called me to let me know sometime in the two week timeframe! The fiance told them to go ahead and just try it.
Two days later, he went to pick up the blanket and dress. The blanket looks really nice. Colors were vibrant. It smells good. I was very happy with it!
I took my new Michael Kors jacket and my cashmere sweater (these are seriously the nicest things I own!) here because my cat peed on them (dumb cat!). This place had good Yelp reviews, so I felt like I could trust them. Boy am I glad I chose them. They are a little pricier than other dry cleaners, but they returned my items not only sans cat pee -- but they look and smell so much better than when I first bought them! I don't know how many times I've taken my clothes to dry-cleaners, only to receive them smelling worse than when I took them in! I am definitely impressed by how good my clothes smell. Very courteous customer service. Parking is right out front. Everything in the store is geared towards green living. You can't get better than this.
It's awesome that they're green, but even better because my clothes come back smelling so fresh and so clean. I hate the fact that majority of the places I take my clothes, they come back smelling like they just got an awful hair perm.
I will keep this review short and sweet. Very courteous staff (they even remember me when I come in). But more importantly, they do a fantastic job cleaning my clothes. My clothes come back smelling, well, like clean clothes! Try them, I am one very happy customer.
This place is awesome. Peter and Megan are nice and my clothes were dry cleaned and ready when promised. She also gave me a demo after I picked up my suit for the first time showing me how soft the fabric remained (no pilling)... that's cool (although I wouldn't have noticed if she didn't mention it). Maybe that's the thing though -- because I normally notice a chemical smell -- and the fact that I didn't notice much about the cleaning at all just means all was well done. Clean clothes, decent pricing, nice people, timely, and I'm helping the environment. Recommended.
I just started taking my clothes here and they now have a customer for life. They are super friendly and are genuinely happy to see you when you come in. It is also nice that they acknowledge the business that you bring them. Really outstanding people and that is dido for the product. All my clothes come out perfect and, as a another yelper mentioned, my clothes actually smell clean, imagine that! Another big plus is that they are green.
There are a lot of Dry-Cleaners in the area, but after four (4) years locally I've found that NATURE'S BEST CLEANERS is the best Dry Cleaning option you've got!! Start taking your clothes there and this is why...
I've seen their service improve daily and watched them go 'Green'. They are focused on Quality and really take pride and care in what they do and it's great to support and do business with a place that actually cares about Quality and provides a great service. Nature's Best is owned and operated by a very friendly, nice, and hard-working entrepreneurial couple who provide a Great Service.
I use Dry-Cleaners often, and over 2 years Nature's Best has never lost or misplaced one of my items, and they regularly do extra things for me without me having to ask, such as adding a missing button, going the extra mile to remove any stain, and just detailing my clothes. The prices are very fair and affordable, start going to Nature's Best Cleaners! It's on El Camino near the Mountain View / Sunnyvale border, right next to a Ducati Motorcycle shop, a Hair-salon, and a Dollar-Store.
I couldn't believe that my dog PEED on my Oregon goose down comforter. I shit you not. I searched Yelp for a highly rated cleaner nearby, and I was not disappointed. I took my blanky over there the very next day and it cost $34 with my first time customer discount for my queen size, down comforter. It came back smelling fresh and clean, with no traces of pee. My only complaint is that it was going to take a few days, but I called back asking if they could finish it sooner. They did. It's a bit on the pricey side, but I think it's worth it to go green. Plus, it's run and operated by the owners, who are very nice, hard working people. I highly recommend them :-)
Went here based on the yelp reviews and I must say everyone was spot on. They removed the food stains from my girls dress and my suit looks brand new.
Totally recommended.
Go to this dry cleaner if you care about the environment and your health! They are the only green dry cleaner in the area and do not use harmful chemicals. Unlike most dry cleaners, they do not send their clothes out to be cleaned.
Plus, it is a family owned place and the owners are really nice people.
