I will never have enough good things to say about this place!!! The staff is wonderful and I always leave feeling at least 10 times better than before I walked in. I see Dr. Key for my chiropratic care, Robin for the acupnture and Jerry for my massage therapy. They are all so great.
I was in a bad car accident in November and was seeing a physical therapist and taking pain killers to get through the day. I ran into Dr. Key at the 24hr where he was performing free posture examinations. He is so smart and so kind. To make a long story short, running into him was a pure blessing. I haven't felt this good in a very long time. This is also my first time trying acupunture and I'm still at awe with how it actually works! I go from being tired one minute to rejuvinated the next. It's amazing! Jerry is wonderful, also. He really knows his stuff and will take good care of you. I'm there twice a week and look forward to each visit.
Consultations usually run at 95 dollars but if you make a 25 dollar donation to Make a Wish Foundation, Dr. Key will waive the fee. It is totally worth it. He runs these tests that will amaze you. You only have one body, it's worth spending a little money on. =p
Mention my review, and I'll receive a free visit. =) Take care, all!
This review is for Dr. Key and Jerry!!! :)
Dr. Key is super nice and personable, I would think that any customer would feel comfortable having him as their Chiropractor. For some reason I have a lot of problems with my neck and somewhat my back ... I feel like an old lady even though I'm only 21! I found this out through the digitalized scan Dr. Key performs in which you can see exactly where your problem areas are.
I have been going to Dr. Key for almost 6 months now (I purchased 2 packages and am still going for checkups) and I would say he is one of the best doctors I have had. He is really friendly and seems genuinely interested in getting to know his patients and actually fixing their problems and you never feel rushed out the door. He also gives these little articles and tips now and then that he writes for his patients usually on health issues or just for his patients awareness. When seeing Dr. Key for your appointments I would say that he always has a smile on his face which is really one of the best things about him because you can tell that he really loves his job and is knowledgable--and smiles are always contagious! :)
Jerry gives the best best best massages especially if you like pressure! Like me.... since I have so many knots :( His deep tissue massages are actually aimed to help fix your damaged tissue and get your body back into its original state. So the massages are really aimed at fixing instead of merely having a relaxing massage. He is also a pastor, I believe, and can truly get you to open up which was very surprising. It is always comfortable for me to have a conversation with Jerry during the massage and he tells me that during our sessions I can leave all my worries and stress behind. Jerry is understanding and is truly a great person who has gifted hands! I would suggest to book your sessions early because he fills up very very fast!
If this review was helpful mention my name and I get a free visit! :)
I had acupuncture done here a while ago.
The office setup is very good and beautiful. The acupuncture with Robin Hayes was great. I always fell asleep :)
But somehow I felt that she was not very patient.
I have been going to the Natural Health Center since the beginning of my last pregnancy. I woke up one morning with a sore neck, and a very limited range of motion. I first went to a different Chiropractic office, but it didn't seem to help much.
The phone mannerisms of most that I called were appalling! I couldn't believe how rude, or uninterested in new business that most were. And, several could barely speak or understand English.
When I called the Natural Health Center, I was immediately impressed with the professionalism over the phone. I believe I first spoke with Jerry Donner, the massage therapist. I was advised to try a combination of chiropractic care, along with massage therapy. Steven Key happened to be in the office when I called, on a Saturday afternoon, close to the time of the office closing. Even though he was "off" that day, he was willing to stay longer to see me right away.
What I like about Dr. Steven Key:
* scan of my back / neck area to show problem area's (no-one had done that before)
* he takes his time, and is very friendly and chatty (never feel rushed out the door)
* he offers a first visit discounted price, which he donates to a charity. (And, I'm pretty sure the back scan is incl.)
* very positive personality
* very well informed and enthusiastic about his profession
* flexible / easy to book appointments with
I have also had a few visits with Jerry Donner, the massage therapist. I like a deep massage, which I've always had a hard time finding someone to provide. Jerry can most definitely provide a good deep massage!! And, if you want a softer massage - he can do that too :)
Due to my pregnancy, I held off on massages for awhile, as I wasn't as comfortable lying down for extended periods of time. I purchased a package of massages, and now that the baby (a boy! :) has arrived, I plan to pamper myself with a bunch of massages really soon :)
Lastly, the center as a whole is exceptional. All the staff are very friendly and out-going. You always feel welcomed when you walk through the doors. And, the decor is clean, and very nice.

The atmosphere is just wonderful here- each room has a theme with pictures that suit- you can enter to a full-wall picture of a waterfall. In the waiting room is some Asian furniture and a mural, and they're very festive, decorating for the seasons and holidays.
While I haven't received service from everyone here, they are all very friendly. The other doctors will say hi and ask how your day has been while you wait.
I come here to see Dr. Steven Key for chiropractic care. He is a very nice man with a very evident understanding of his profession. Just by looking and a couple other sensory tests, he can recognize where the problem is. He's also pretty high tech in terms of initial discerning with computerized scans (as opposed to the radiation of X-rays).
The thing I love most about him is that he's not just there to do his job. He loves sharing information and teaching how to best take care of yourself in other ways through paradigm change- the key of chiropractic, letting the body repair itself, healing as opposed to medicating. Medicine is more of a last resort. He also holds seminars on health aspects and occasionally provides free antioxidant screenings to his clients.
The center occasionally holds 'open houses' where you can get a free accupuncture session and/or 5 minute massage. If you want to check out Dr. Key, check the place out and see about getting a "Life Saver." He'll give you a 'free' initial diagnosis screening if you donate $35 to the Make-a-wish foundation. Tell him I sent you and I'll get a free visit!
Now that I've been coming here a while, I've also had the pleasure of experiencing a massage by Jerry Donner (see my review for him separately- he's awesome!)
I guess my one itty complaint about the whole place is that they tend to work independently and don't necessarily recommend each other's services. I've been seeing Dr. Key for some time now, and while it's great I don't feel pressured to spend money on other services, I think the chiropractic could be more beneficial in conjunction with the massages. Being able to work together to treat clients is a benefit that could be reaped by sharing an office like this, and they could take advantage of that more.
Overall, a great place for self care! If only they were closer to San Jose....

The Natural Health Center offers Acupuncture, Massage, and Chiropractic treatment. Jerry Donner is the Massage Therapist and he is the best that I have ever experienced. I have had a lot of massages over the last twenty years from fancy spas, hot rock massage, Calistoga massage, deep tissue, sports massage, etc, etc. Jerry is the best. He is very popular. His patients love him. Getting an appointment with him may require a wait, but it is worth it. His deep tissue is the best. He can fix difficult issues. How do I know this? I own the office that he works in and refer him my difficult patients (I am the Acupuncturist here, Robin Hays, and have had the center for 21 years.) I have never had such a popular massage therapist with such a warm, friendly, yet professional personality. The office is very spacious, pretty and clean, was voted best looking office in Milpitas and has murals in every room. (I have been voted Best Acupuncturist in Milpitas every year since the voting began and treat everything from pain to allergies to fertility.) However, I am writing this to let you know that Jerry Donner is really really great, whether you like deep tissue or swedish or have a special issue, he can help.
