For a knowledgeable and skilled massage therapist, ask for Becky.  Her deep tissue massage is the best way to stay relaxed.

I met Becky for the first time at Reston Relay for Life in 2004, and was impressed by her strength and ability to "persuade" even the most stubborn muscles.

While traveling, I often schedule massages, but from Peter Island to Napa Valley have yet to find a therapist as skilled as Becky.

Worst day spa experience ever.  In fact, it was horrific.  I went in for a Brazilian bikini wax, and went home with wax stuck to my nether regions because, as the aesthetician put it, "these things happen."  No, they do not.  Your inexperience "happens."  At 4:00, she announced she had to leave me because she had a 3:45 pedicure appointment.  She also informed me that she is paid on a commission basis, not hourly.  I asked her "what am I supposed to do, just go home with wax on my hoo-ha?"  She said yes, that I can use oil at home to remove it.  I'm talking sticky, hard wax matted to my skin and hair.  As I was leaving, she informed me that her instinct told her that my service was going to be a difficult one.  WTH?  Then do not perform the service on me!   My instinct told me she had no clue what she was doing.  I suppose I should have just gotten up and left.

Two days later, I am bruised and have patches of missing skin from this ordeal.  It was humiliating and I am angry.

Best thing I can say is that the owner did the right thing and did not charge me for the service, or lack thereof.  However, I must say that the owner refused to speak directly with me because he was "too busy," so he had me tell the sweet girl at the front desk what happened, so she could pass the information along to him.  Logic, anyone?  This is horrible customer service.  I am astounded.  The receptionist informed me that this sort of thing has happened to this aesthetician before.  Wow.

I will never go back here again other than to see another aesthetician for corrective services.

Bottom line--there are several other day spas in this area that have a solid reputation, so I have no need to visit this one again.

    I do not recommend it.

seriously one of the worst spa experiences i have had. i took a couple of friends there for a bridal get-together. the appointments were made well in advance and we still had scheduling issues. we all ended up having to wait for at least an hour between services. once we did get in there the people were weird. they didn't have us change into robes. they were talking during massages. one wouldn't stop asking questions about work (which is what one likes to talk about during a massage).

the pedicures are completely bizarre. at first it seemed like things were getting better. they put you in a room, put you in a comfy chair, put heat packs on your arms for an hour & cover your eyes with a hot  lavender bag. just as it was getting relaxing, they flipped the chair back (like a lazy-boy). it sound good but it is uncomfortable with your arms sticking up.

to top it off. they push the products on their clients the entire time. i will never go back there!

This is where I can be found every other Friday!  I enjoy the best deep tissue massage that I've ever had at Natural Body Spa & Shoppe!  My massage therapist is always Becky Sklaris because she is very knowledgeable, knows where to find my aches and pains and never fails to ensure that I leave feeling better than I did when I walked in the door!  I'm a very satisfied customer and I highly recommend Becky because she is a superb therapist!

Whoa!  I had the BEST massage ever this past Saturday.  I decided to try this new spa because my sister had gotten a facial here and loved it, and they sent out coupons for $60 for your first one hour massage.  (Regular price $75).  My massage therapist's name was Collette and she was awesome!  She taught me some breathing and stretching techniques, asked me to make sure to let her know if I wanted her to change anything she was doing, and she focused on the areas of my body that really needed it the most.  The spa was beautifully decorated and the staff is friendly and I will def. be going back soon!

I came here 2 different times for my spagirlpromotion package. First was for a mani/pedi, second was for a Jurlique Facial.

I had a lady named Ai do my mani/pedi, and she was a nice and sweet lady.  Though I don't think I'll recommend a pedicure here cause I was really disappointed when I saw that they use one of those bubbling foot tubs from Homedics or Conair (like the ones you can buy at Target or Walmart). For a spa, I was expecting a little more. They have you sit in this private room in a leather recliner with your foot soaking on the bubbling foot tub (which I thought was too small even for my 7 1/2 size feet). She put this hot herbal pillow on my shoulders and one for my eye, which was kinda blehhh. Then came the foot and leg massage which was very relaxing, probably the best part of it.  But the mani and pedi itself was mediocre.  Thankfully, I didn't pay actual retail prices for these services, cause I'd be pissed if I had to.  Though the manicurist was sweet and nice, I definitely don't recommend a mani/pedi here.

Second time around I got a Jurlique Facial and my first facial ever.  It was OK, not what I was expecting. The extractions were done with q-tips and I really don't think anything was extracted.  I did have a late appointment so maybe the facialist was trying to rush.  The face massage and neck and arm massage was crappy.  She didn't finish here strokes off correctly. I was so disappointed I forgot her name! Oh and I hated it when she put this lotion in my hands and wrapped it in plastic with a heated mitt.  It was uncomfortable more than anything. Most of the treatment time consisted of just waiting, like waiting for the masque to dry. I didn't really feel rejuvenated or anything afterwards. I felt crappy that I paid $60 for that! Again, at a discounted rate. I would've been more pissed if I had to pay $90 for that thing!

The spa is located at a strip mall and when I walked in, I love the smell. It's like eucalyptus/lavender/chamomile. So relaxing! The treatment rooms are clean and warm. The staff are nice. I still have a massage and scrub that I need to go to as part of the promotion package I got. I will update once I get those treatments done.

My facialist was Penny. She was indifferent and did not do a good job for the money they charged. Will not go to this spa again even though it is 2-3 miles from my home.
