"The Nasty" is a great place if you want to feel really good about your golf game.  Their par-4s are driveable so eagles are possible if you can get on in one.  Their par-5 is also reachable in two for long hitters so low scores are quite possible.

But therein lies my complaint with this place.  A lot of players, (including myself) think they can hit like Tiger Woods, so they end up causing log jams as they wait for people to clear out from the greens.  They then step to their ball and end up hitting 75-yard shanks onto other holes' fairways.

Overall, this 9-hole course is decent if you want to fine tune your game.  Come with low expectations and you'll be pleasantly surprised.  Just don't mind the neighborhood kids cutting through the course.  After all, it is "The Nasty".

Nasty City has their own Golf course?  Haha!  I didn't even realize this was a course.  Just thought is was driving range.  I like it cause it's close and It's something to do while I wait for my PGA golf tour card.  They said it was in the mail.  Nine hole down and dirty golf for the masses.  Nasty golf for Nasty City.

my golfing journeys have taken me down to the national city golf course.  on my vacation i was just looking for a quick 9 hole to play and after not finding anything in san diego, i found this place.  it's a decent 9 hole that offers some long holes 1 500 yard hole and many of the others 2-300 yards and of course some short 100-150 yard holes as well.  it offers a mix to allow you to use a range of clubs.  it cost $12 during the peak hours of the weekday.  the course is so so in terms of upkeep, but still worth playing.  you'll have to deal with a range of different players, but what do you expect from a public course.  they do also offer a driving range, but nothing special here at all.
