This place is great if you want kosher food with a non kosher taste. The portions are huge and reasonably prices.. and the menu is a mile long. I love love their crispy chicken sandwiches,, eat them and you'll think your in heaven! Its a fast food joint and great if your in the mood of delicious grub.
My husband loves their jalapeno burger.
Enjoy! -

Chicken Philly.
Yum, except its just not the same without cheese melting all over it.
Im looking forward to trying thier hot dogs and all other fast food delights.
Major plus would be the fact its not greasy at all, just pure taste. -

We use to go to Nathan's once every 3-4 months when we were craving hot dogs. It was convenient and easy and satisfied both of us; has both meat and veggie dogs.
Something happened and tonight will probably be our last time going. My fiance had the hot dogs which were blah. I had the veggie burger (but actually order a veggie dog) which was a mushy textured curry flavored patty. The fries even sucked! Oh and my fiance said that they didn't have pickle relish and the guy didn't even know what it was...WTF! He takes his dogs very serious!
Usually there are at least a few other people eating there but tonight we had the whole restaurant to ourselves and it was peak dinner time. A whole lot of time is going to have to pass before we think about going back there again. -

The place is gone, replaced by an upscale Persian Kosher Restaurant - Sunrise.
I ate there couple times, never liked it. Food was OK, but service surly, inconsiderate and lazy. That is probably what did in the restaurant - you just never really wanted to go back, as good food did not make up for the tzuris of going through ordering and paying. Besides, there have always been better kosher burgers nearby. -

Jews were screwed when fast food came along and threw cheese on top of everything. Not only is processed burger and chicken meat wholly unkosher, it's also modified the country's palette to accept the washed out flavor of the meat as being the norm. Nathan's is a kosher fast food joint that prepares tasty food to feed your crappetite prepared under Rabbinical supervision. Just like the rest of the fast food universe no language skills are required to order - big pictures above the cash registers of corn dogs, chicken burgers, and hamburgers are there to assist your ordering. Sullen Hassidic teens (or slave labor from the Chabad mines) work the till. Even a corner sink in the back to lave before you knosh. Besides owning the goy Kenny Rodger's Roasters chain, Nathan's also owns my favorite fast food restaurant from when I was a wee bairn in suburban Baltimore: Arthur Treacher's Fish & Chips! It appears that Arthur Treacher's exists only as a brand; no more of his fish shops grace the earth.

I agree it is great if you want kosher food with a non kosher taste. They have an extensive fast food menu and reasonable prices. They also offer chicken under the Kenny Roger's Roasters brand. This is the best in LA Kosher fast food.
