I needed something notarized and I needed it quick and for it to be affordable. Thankfully I found Nathan on Yelp and his great reviews are not lying. He's knowledgable, quick and only $5 a signature. He answered my questions through e-mail in a timely manner, considering it was during the holidays. We met in a convenient place and he came fully prepared. If I need anything else notarized, I will definitely go back.

Most ppl. would go to Kinkos and co to get their papers notarized and pay lots of money without knowing it and pay for crappy, unfriendly, unprofessional service.
If you are looking for someone who knows what he is doing and provide you with the best customer service you are looking for. This is the place!
We needed to sign some legal papers from Korea and we had to have them notarized. All the other places we called they asked horrendous money and they weren't able to answer our questions.
When we called here.. Nathan gave us a quote all the information we needed. We also had to sign something on behalf of our 1 year old child and taking a young child to those places might be tricky and as forgetful parents you might leave stuff at home! How inconvenient... BUT Nathan came to our house and we were able to sign all the paper at OUR CONVENIENCE !! AND it was cheaper than any other places. Other places we called charged us 10-25$ per paper. He asked us for 5$. It doesn't get any better.
If you need professional help with your documents... This is the place to call! -

I find this guy on behalf of my grandmother. This guy comes over, looks at the document, says he wouldn't notarize my grandma's signature if he can only communicate with her through a translator. If that's true, okay, I get that.
HOWEVER, he left one minute later and charged $30 for "travel fees" (mind you within San Jose - 14.7 miles to be exact (30 miles round trip) - on a Sunday evening). The least he should have done was reduce the travel fee considering we looked towards him for his expertise in notary public requirements. I will take accountability for my failure to state from the beginning that I was looking on behalf of my grandmother who does not speak English. However, I still believe a professional would ask pertinent questions before committing to being a notary then charging a client for just showing up.
For future clients - NO TRANSLATORS! -

I found Nathan through Yelp when I was looking for a notary service near Campbell/San Jose. He was very prompt to respond to my email request, and we were able to set a time and date to meet right away. I was able to take advantage of his "yelper" discount price of $5/signature. I requested Nathan to meet us at a place near our house instead of us going to his office, so there was the extra charge but it totally worth the little bit of extra charge as he's very accommodating wherever you want to meet!
One of our paper was out of date, which we didn't realize until he pointed it out, but Nathan was able to provided us with the most recent document to supplement to our original doc. Great communication, professional service, I'd call him again when we require a notary service! -

Found Nathan through Yelp & Local Yahoo listings, I have nothing but great things to say about him. Fast, friendly and very professional service. Nathan was very informative and quick to reply back upon emailing him through his website form. I think the number listed is his personal cell phone since he's always there to respond quickly.
It took less than a day to meet up with him at a nearby location, I was in and out in less than ten minutes for the document I needed signed, talk about efficient.
All of this for an extremely low price, $5. I'm a bit in awe how well this guy carries out his commitment to his services. If you need something notarized in the South Bay, this is the man. -

Just met with Nathan. I emailed him around 10AM on a Saturday morning and I got my document notarized by 1pm at a coffee shop. He is really sincere and no doubt he knows what he is doing. Wonderful experience!

For $5 per signature you can't go wrong. When you count signatures I learned that it's it's per document. I needed to get documents for work notarized to add someone to my benefits. It was $5 for me and $5 for the other person to sign. I was so thrilled when he only asked for $10. It's a steal! He does charge extra $10 if you want him to drive to your house. So we just met at a local Cafe instead. It only took about 15 mins tops. He responds faster to emails. Definitely recommend him to everyone.

Today's notarization has been my second experience with Nathan Notary. And both my notarization experiences have been more than fantastic. Mr. Nathan is a true professional, fair and sincere man. He does the notarization of the documents in a short time and also gave me a small discount since I had several documents that had to be notarized. Absolutely first-rate. My mother-in-law was hopitalized and I needed her to sign some documents relating to her retirement and have them notarized. I found Nathan via a Google search and arranged to have him meet me at the hospital. He was prompt, friendly and had a very professional manner. He was patient with my mother-in-law and very efficient and detail-oriented. And his fee was exremely reasonable. All the documents her notarized for us were accepted by the California State Teachers' Retirement System, a very picky and troublesome bureaucracy. Next time I need a notary in the Bay Area, I'll call Nathan first.

Nathan was more informative than our lawyer and he was SUPER AFFORDABLE! I could not have been more happy. At only $5 per signature, I wanted to pay him more. He was well prepared and very thorough. And he came to our house at 9:20pm! I got some of his cards just to refer him to our friends who are going through the same process as we are. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM. He is great.

My first encounter with Nathan was good. He answered the phone, we set up a time and place and as he was finishing up with a client I walked up with my forms. I signed, he did his part and it was quick and easy.
I have a second and third document set of documents that need to be notarized but it seems Nathan is too busy. I called a number of times a few weeks back and nothing. Either his voicemail was full or the messages I did leave were never answered. I called again yesterday; I actually spoke to him but since he was busy asked me if he could call me back. He did and we set up a general time and place for an evening meeting and he asked me specifically how may signatures I had. I found out, called back and left it on him voicemail.
Later in the day, I called five (5) times from 4:00pm on until about 7:30pm as the papers were urgent but I got nowhere. The voicemails I left were not responded to and still have not heard from him.
If you can't make it or if the one signature is not worth your time, please let the customer know. Don't waste his or her time. I could have found someone else to go to.
I've found a new place and he'll miss out on the next few times I'll need a notary. -

If you want outstanding, prompt notary service contact Nathan Notary. I had to have a document notarized on a Sunday and I called Nathan. He responded quickly and was at my residence within hours. I will use his service again, A+++

We have used Nathan for our notary needs for several years now. He is very detail oriented, and double and triple checks his work. Every time we called Nathan, he is friendly and always will to work around our calendar. I must say that he is very picky when it comes to the documents that he notaries. (if something is not right, he will let you know). We highly recommend Nathan.

Nathan's service is inexpensive, careful, and convenient. Call him to set an appointment, then he will come to your office or home. I met him at my house in the evening. I don't think he charges extra for the evenings. Great job done.

I have had the oppurtunity to make use of the service provided by Nathan to notarise my documents couple of times. Each time Nathan has made it comfortable to avail this service, as he has come home and handles it professionally.
I appreciate the service provided by Nathan for such a steal deal. I would strongly recommend Nathan if you don't want to be disappointed for notarising any of your documents. He is prompt, punctual and a true professional at the service he offers.

I emailed Nathan late at night probably almost midnight on a weekend because I needed some documents to be notarized on by the Sunday that weekend. I thought I wouldn't get any response probably until Sunday morning and would probably get the documents notarized by Monday. 5 minutes later Nathan responded to my email and we arranged the meeting on Sunday afternoon to get the documents notarized. We met and got all the documents notarized in just less than 20 minutes. I would highly recommend Nathan!

My fiance and I contacted this guy regarding a routine document and he did not know what it was. Ok, that's fine but then when he said that he was going to get back to me in a few hours after he'd do some research, I didn't hear back from him until 8 hours later. I think that this guy mainly deals in loan documents, so be careful if it's anything outside of this.

Nathan was super helpful and provided valuable insight at a low cost. We needed a last minute notarization on our passport application and he helped us out late on Sunday night and met us at a nearby Starbucks to notarize our documents. I would recommend him to anyone needing a notary.
