Who knew this place existed?! Just like what the person below me wrote "This place is hidden"!! lol We were just told that there is a bar on the 2nd floor and so we went and checked it out. This place is very small and I can already imagine it being so crowded on weekends.

The owner is really cool too. He chatted with us and told one of his employees to get 8 shots (including him) on the house ;P I didn't drink mine because its whiskey lol He told us that he is 100% Korean but born in China so he speaks Chinese. I think I was the only one on our table who didn't understand what he was saying lol (I should learn Chinese too lol)

I tried one of their squid for apps. It was sweet but it  smelled too fishy for me. Overall, the service was quick (maybe because there weren't a lot of people that night) with very friendly staff.

It's small and it's sort of hard to find, but come on -- a Korean lounge in the West Loop?  That's tight.  The soju is a decent $14 a bottle.  The food is pretty expensive, like $17-20, but they're sized for sharing.  Usually lots of seating open.  It might not be KTown in LA, but the place ain't bad..

I like this place.  I've been coming here since they opened about 2 years ago.  The atmosphere is nice cozy, and the fact that there's no other Korean bar remotely close to downtown is a nice draw.  I'd say drinks and food is overpriced, but so is the rent.  Save $25 on your cab ride up north to K-town, and you can spend it on the fried chicken here (absolutely the best).

This place is hidden!

I had no place it even existed, but I enjoyed it.

They have a small menu of food, that I didn't get to try but what I did try was the soju!

I enjoyed the flavored soju they offered, I think a bottle was 24 dollars and enough to split between me and my date.

The space was small, but not alot of people were there, the service was great, and it wasn't that badly priced.  The music was blasting but it was a mix of old school early 90s techno, and current hits.

My buddies and I were here on a Friday night.  We had been pre-drinking earlier in Old Town, and needed a place to kill for a couple of hours before hitting up some of the nearby clubs.

Quite frankly, it's a small Korean lounge/restaurant but the food was good.  I don't know the name of the dish we had, but it had kimchi and spicy ramen.  The soju ($20) was above-average priced and so was the bottle of Johnny Walker black label ($200) in my opinion.  On the plus side, we didn't finish the bottle, and management let us stash there for future visits, so it wasn't a waste.

More importantly, the owner of the place, Alan was a very good host.  He spoke with us for a a good while, telling us about the place and cracking some jokes before joining us for a round of shots.  So all and all, it resulted in the group having somewhat positive vibes from the place (even though none of us were Korean.  I don't think you need to be Korean to have fun here).  Plus, the guys thought the one waitress there was hot!  Now i'm being irrelevant...

I'm not really a fan of Korean bars, but my boyfriend is.

PROS:  Service is excellent.  The people are very friendly and your drink is never empty.  They play music at a decent level.

CONS: Drinks are freaking expensive and the place is small.

If you would like to sit and talk, this place is great.  That's what korean bars are all about.  But I can go in my living room, turn off the lights, play some Korean pop, and have a bottle of black with my friends and save a couple of hundred bucks.
