Nail Galleria is the ONLY place in the 408 that my girls and I will go to. That is because it is the best. I still drive from the City to get my mani-pedis here! The Nail Galleria goes above and beyond what is expected to make sure that you have a great experience and leave looking and feeling gorgeous! If you want the PERFECT mani-pedi come here.
It was actually empty when I came in on a Saturday which I was surprised. I went in for a pedicure, it was okay. I guess it could have been done better. Nothing spectacular about this place other than the appearance is better than other locations plus it didn't have strong Acetone smell throughout.
I didn't like how they push nail care products on you.
Really Yelp, 3.5 stars?! I feel cheated.
My friend and I stopped in here the other day after getting pastries at Sugar Butter Flour, since it is in the same shopping center. We were a bit suspicious of the place since it was completely empty when we first walked by it, but after a quick look-up on Yelp, we decided 3.5 stars was good enough to risk it.
I feel a bit bad leaving a terrible review, because the lady who did my friend's nails (possibly the owner) was so nice and did a decent job on her nails, but my personal experience was one that I would never go back for in a million years.
The lady I had was fairly friendly, but seemed super rushed - my friend got seated and started her manicure at least 15 minutes before me, and I was done maybe 5 minutes after her. My lady was super rough and fast about cutting my cuticles, buffing my nails, etc. She cut off too much skin on the corner of my right thumb and it now feels a bit tender to the touch.
I asked for black french tips, and she was happy enough to comply, but the job she did was awful. Some of the tips are messy and uneven, and some nails just look like they're dirty - she didn't wash the black polish away cleanly enough.
Now this all might have ended up as a 2-star review instead of one star, if not for the kicker - she used some kind of awful top coat that turns purple in UV light. I walked outside and my nails turned PURPLE. Scary pinkish-purple with what now appeared to be NAVY tips. My friend aptly described them as corpse-nails. Oh hells no.
They're just lucky I didn't storm in there and demand my money back. Mostly I just never want to step foot in here again.
Oh, and another thing - after the the nice-possibly-owner-lady was done cleaning up my friend's french tips, she poured the USED polish remover back into her polish remover bottle. Is that normal? I'd never seen a manicurist do that before. I'm sure the alcohol in that stuff kills whatever germs might be in it, but it still grossed me out and made me really question their cleanliness.
I wish I could give this place no stars at all if possible.
WARNING: The ladies are really nice but this place is a TOTAL RIP OFF.
After I moved to the neighborhood I was really excited to be so close to a nail salon. At first their service was fairly good and suited my quick mani/pedi needs. I've tried everything from their massage to waxings as well. First few times I went I was fairly satisfied as they were quick, clean and efficient however over time they have really disappointed me.
First off the last few times I've gone my mani/pedi would last for no more than a day. Sure they use OPI color however their base and top isn't so it peels right off. I've gone to many different salons and have never experienced such a short mani/pedi survival rate.
Secondly on another visit I requested for a Brazilian wax which was no where close to a Brazilian and I expressed this to the lady who did the waxing and she still charged me full price for the service. What a rip off and WTH!
The final straw was after going back for now what is the LAST time I had a lip and brow wax with the awful results of a BURN around the lip area where the skin is actually ripped off because apparently the wax was too hot when it was applied.
After trying to give this place another chance I will
NEVER GO BACK AGAIN.
I first started going here when I was brought with my cousin. She gets manicures/pedicures more often than I do so if it was somewhere SHE liked I figured it was probably a good place.
It was refreshing to walk in to a very calm clean space. The staff there is very friendly and nothing but helpful. Something I also liked a lot is the fact that even though everyone working was Asian I didn't hear them talking in any other languages constantly like I have in other salons I've been to.
The foot massage and warm stones during the pedicure are HEAVEN. I know that you might end up spending a little more money that some other places but I think it's totally worth it.
Another thing that caught me by surprise was when one day I came in someone had their dogs relaxing up in the waiting area while her nails were drying. It was so nice to wait for a free chair with a well behaved dog at your side.
I'd honestly give them a 3.5 if i could, but since I have indigestion and feel like I'm gna puke I'm leaning toward 3 instead of 4.
Got a pink and white set, with bright pink pink. Cool place, nice nail tech, chill spot. Jenny was super nice tho :) $40, plus tip + nice nails = Happy Anjela
It's been over a month since I got my nails done, and I had no chips or bubbles...The. Whole. Month. Unfortunately, I don't have tons of time to get my nails done, so I waited until my nails were absolutely horrid before forcing myself to make time to go in. However, aside from the new nail growth, my nails still look decent ( I mean, it's been SIX weeks, they do look like they need refreshing), and pretty good for a month and a half.
This is SO my new nail place!!!
UPGRADED to Five Stars!

This place is ok. I went with my sister, and she had great things to say about her mani-pedi. I got a facial and a pedicure. I like the fact that they use high end products (Dermalogica), but I didn't see the license on the wall in the esthetitians room, only some Dermalogica certificates saying that she took some classes. The facial felt alright, but it was amateur at best. You're better off going to a Pure Beauty where they can give an amazing Dermalogica facial.
As far as my manicure was concerned, it was alright; I've had better. The massage was short, and she didn't do a great job of cleaning up around the nail where the polish strayed.
We tried this place because they have a winter special going on, so if you're looking to save a little money and have a decent job done, go here. Don't know what their normal prices are, but I don't really think their work is worth any more than their winter special prices.
Pluses - manicure didn't make me bleed (same with my sister's mani-pedi).
Minuses - besides what I wrote above, the esthetitian's room wasn't quite as nice as a room you would normally get a facial in. We were early, so the equiptment wasn't set up yet, which is understandable. However, set already brought me into the room and had me lay there while she set up. I think it would be have been much more professional to have me wait outside. Plus it was a little cold, and the sheets weren't very nice. In fact, the top sheet was a towel. So again, not great, but thanks to the winter special, I did get 50% off so I guess I get what I paid for.
Their customer service is good though, I should point out.
Unfortunately, my bestfriend got athlete's foot two days after getting our pedicures here. I really liked this place! I can't see going back and risking a foot fungus to go here! Oh well, I'll have to search for a place that is more diligent about their cleaning habits.

The nail techs are always so nice and friendly, especially that one lady whose always there... i dont remember her name, but she always remembers me and is super sweet ^_^
They do EXCELLENT pedicures and acrylics! I have never been disappointed by them. the atmosphere is also nice and clean and there isn't a strong smell.
Will be back many times again :)
My wife got her nails done for our wedding here. She loves this place.
She came home very happy and it's the best her nails have ever looked. She had both a French Manicure and Pedicure.
They lasted for at least a week without chipping. During her visit she mentioned to the staff that she was getting her nails done for her wedding... everybody there went out of their way to make sure her nails were beautiful for our wedding day. After her nails were painted and she was waiting for them to dry, several of the ladies stopped by every 10 mins to reapply clear coat to ensure the polish did not chip.
My wife said the salon did not smell and the atmosphere was friendly and clean. The price was great too. $45 for her french manicure and pedicure.
I would have given this place 5 stars... if my manicure lady wouldn't have slacked on the final touch. She did a great job with the pedicure. The massage was wonderful and relaxing. I was in a hurry and didn't pay attention to how my manicure looked like...
Paid and gave them a generous tip (because my eye brows came out great!!!!). BUT when I got into my car and looked at my fingers..
I already had bubbles.. and some nails were chipped. KIDDING ME???
Went back in. She tried to fix it by adding more color and blowing it dry with her mouth and after 2 min. she tells me that it's safe to go but don't try to use that finger.... hmmm ... didn't want to argue because I was just pissed how unprofessional she was and I was in a hurry. I just thought if the color comes off again I will just go back the next morning and I was right the color came right off when I went drove. Didn't bother coming back the next morning because I didn't wanted to have another awful manicure experience.
Found a great new place... and guess what one of their nail technician works for my new nail place. What a coincidence....
So, my usual mani/pedi place was booked and since I was waiting for my pup to finish his grooming, I decided to get a pedi to kill some time. The other places that are my usuals were unusually booked on a Friday afternoon (doesn't anybody work?). So I went online (using my Yelp iPhone app!) and searched out a place nearby. I found Nail Galleria within a few miles of my pups salon so decided to give it a try. Got in, and was greeted. Asked if they had time for a pedi and they said yes, please pick your color. Waited a few minutes and then was seated in one of their pedi chairs (which I had to basically jump onto b/c they didn't have any steps and they are so high up). Waited another 10 minutes for one of the techs to finish up and get to me. When she finally came over, she was greeted me and was nice. She started right away but then got pulled away to cash another customer out. She came back and started again but then got pulled away by the person next to me because one of her nails got smudged. Came back started working again and got up again to answer the phone. Finally, she came back she started to work again, but yet, was interrupted by a customer who walked in and needed help with purchasing a nail polish. By this time, I my pup was done at the groomers and I just wanted to go.
All in all, the pedi was ok. Nothing to thrilling. Massage was a little short. Polish was a little light, but what did I expect from a first time, right? Learned my lesson....even if my regular dive is booked, just wait until they're available.
They are clean and friendly, but man they are slow and not very good!
I wasn't satisfied with the way my nails turned out. My french tip started too far down the nail and was crooked on some of the nails. Some of my nails were more rounded on one side than the other. They struggle with symmetry.
I love this nail place!! Manicure and pedicure for $35 and includes exfoliation and hot stone massage. Very clean environment and super friendly people. I have finally found a place that files your nails straight!!! Can get busy on Saturdays. I recommend going on a Sunday.
i had a gift certificate for this place for $50, it was like any other gift certificate, plastic card that you typically swipe.
However when i got there, they did not accept my gift certificate because it was purchased before the new owner took over. However the new owner should take responsibility and penalized (rip off) the customers that paid for the gift cards
Thats an issue the owners should have to work out, instead of ripping people off.
AND when i showed her the card, she pulled out an old looking notebook that had hand written numbers and words in it, supposedly thats how they keep track of gift cards! she couldnt find my serial number in the notebook, so she said she couldnt accept it because she also didnt know how much was on the card. When i told her to swipe the card she said that they dont use swipers the cards are just used without any value except the handwritten records they keep in the notebook!

Great place that offers amazing nail art design. Friendly staff and a comfortable environment makes this an ideal place to get your nails done. They also do waxing and I believe other related services. I was greeted as though I had been going there for years. The cost of my pedicure was $28 with special art on my two big toes. Little extra's like a wonderful foot bath that was not only great on my feet, but also smelled very good. The massage chairs were a dream. I also liked that they offered flip flips so that when you moved from the chair to the drying station your feet stayed nice & clean. A clean environment and professional employees. I will go again!
