Well - I am more than happy to add to the glowing reviews about this little nail salon.

I no longer get mani/pedis as often as I would like to (or should), but shoot! I may just have to make the time now that I've tried http://Nail.com!!! They are simply awesome. Great service, great technique, and relaxing environment.

They really do make you feel like royalty, and you can tell that they appreciate your business. Not bad for a nail place that's not a big, fancy salon!

I admit it was strange, at first, to receive a neck/shoulder mini-massage while waiting for my fingernails and toenails to dry....but only because I was not used to it, and would never have expected it from a small salon. A very nice little touch. Thumbs up!!!

You will definitely get your money's worth here. Pampering at a great price. I can't wait until my next visit!!!

Hands down - the best nail salon I've tried in Chicago.  Both service and price wise.

The free drinks and shoulder massage while you wait for your nailpolish to dry are just the creme de la creme.  They're very thorough in what they're doing.  They give awesome calf massages when you get a pedicure.  Scented oil and scrub with no extra charge.

The salon is spacious, well-lit, doesn't have the over-bearing-nailpolish-nailpolish remover smell.  All around top notch!

Best Pedicure I have ever had!!!

Very friendly staff, very informed and nice!!

They have a HUGE selection of colors and magazines, you pick out what type of scent you want in your pedicure bath either lavender or peppermint- and the massage chairs are great-
they do a scrub on your legs as well as all the proper cleaning/polishing/scrubbing- it was great! they didn't rush or skip steps even though I was there in the last hour before closing, and when you are all done they walk you to the dryers and give you a massage on your shoulders!!

It was reasonably priced 30$ for a pedicure and then tip- and the only thing I didn't like was they don't have acrylic nails anymore they will do a manicure but no fake nails- like a new set which is what I was looking for but I will def go back for a pedicure- very nice very clean very friendly!!!

Best pedicure in town.

I've played around thinking that more expensive places might be better but nope, this is the best joint in Chicago.  Super sweet, attentive staff.  They give you a complimentary beverage upon sitting down!  Great color selection.  They don't rush you out while you are drying your nails (and have nail dryers, unlike some places: I'm looking at you, Bliss).  The thing that I've found so unique about this place is that they actually cater your pedicure to your feet.  I am on my feet a lot, plus I take dance classes and am bad about wearing socks with my shoes in the summer.  My technican gave me extra exfoliation and the owner suggested some products that might help, and gave me a card for a free sample of some for next time.

And when I've gotten manicures there, it doesn't chip until well into the second week, and I am typing all the time.

I can't say enough nice things about this place.  I'm done being a player and am totally going steady with http://nail.com.

Whoa!  This place is great!

I had been looking for a new nail salon.  Mine was good, but I felt that they weren't doing as good a job as they had done in the past.  So I took Megan G.'s recommendation and went to http://Nail.com.

First of all, this place is huge!  It seems they are always able to fit me in for a pedi.  The staff is nice and I love being greeted the second I walk in the door.  As I sat down in the chair I was asked to choose from three different scents of bath salts.  Uhm...awesome!!  :)

As I was getting my pedi, none other than Megan G. walked in and sat down next to me.  Wow, girl.  You psychic.  ;)

After you are finished, the nail tech escorts you to the drying station and gives you a little shoulder/arm/upper back massage.  I'm sure this is nice for some people, but for me it kinda hurts.  Still, it's a very nice touch!

The thing that I love best about http://Nail.com was that a week after my first visit I needed to have a polish change.  They charged me $15 and basically gave me another full pedicure without the soak and leg massage.  Nice!

This location is a little out of the way for me, but I will be coming back again and again and again.

*Walked into http://Nail.com on a weekday afternoon*....

Guy: "Hello, welcome to http://Nail.com, how can we help you?"

Me: (surprised someone greeted me), "Um, can I get a manicure and pedicure?"

Guy: "Certainly! Please pick out your color!  Would you like a complimentary bottled water, coffee, or tea?  Would you like to pick out a magazine and follow me to your seat?"

Me:  (thinking maybe I accidentally walked into the Peninsula Spa/Trump Spa/Heaven) "Bottled water, and Us Weekly!  Thanks!"

Guy: "Excellent choice!  Here is your bottled water and please follow me to your seat."

So obviously this place is getting five stars, and that was certain before I even got the service!  But the service was incredible too.  What a great pedicure!  The chairs are all massage-y and it's a nice touch with the wood desk thing that you can place your phone/sunglasses/water on.  They have nice music going in the salon and it's just the perfect atmosphere to get a pedicure.

My girl was fantastic.  I'm hesitant to say her name b/c I want to hoard her all for myself!  But her name is Ujin and she was so sweet and her work is perfect.

http://Nail.com (who ironically does NOT have a website) is one of the best nail salons I've been to in a while...I will definitely return!

Best pedicure I've had in Chicago.  The attention, service, and detail is incredible.  I brought my husband with me and got him the 1st pedi of his life - they worked sooo hard on his feet - and now they look incredible.  It was funny though - he has this crack in his heel that we've been working on at home and I thought a paraffin treatment might help it.  They did it, but I'm pretty sure they were worried his feet were too big for the heating booties; there was a lot of concerned attention.  It all worked out - his feet weren't too big - and the paraffin definitely helped the heel as well.  He's totally a convert now.  Wants to go back next month and bring his mom.  Really happy that everyone worked so hard to make it such a positive experience for him, and my pedi looks great too.  We'll definitely be repeat visitors.

Honestly the only complaint I have is that they don't own http://nail.com the URL.  It's a parked page, which is weird.

Pricey... the lady I had wasn't very in tune to detail. My nails were crooked and I had to ask her to make them symmetric. She didn't understand me so I ask to borrow her file and corrected it. I know that sounds terrible but if I'm spending $40 then I want perfection.

Also the paint job wasn't very close to my cuticle, making me have to go back a lot sooner. I will be going somewhere else.

I was excited to try this place after all the reviews I read here.  I had a great nail place back home and I thought this one might be my place here in Chicago.

While I was looking for a color another girl came in behind me and the woman offered her coffee or water right away.  Huh, she didn't offer any to me.  I had to ask for a bottle of water.  The woman grabbed on and started to hustle me to my chair (I was getting a pedicure).  Again, I had to ask if I could grab a magazine real quick.  It kind of felt like they were rushing me in to get me out quick, not sure why, they had plenty of employees free.

Boy, was my pedicure quick!  I do not mean that in a good way.  I was finished with my pedicure awhile before other girls were done that got started before me.  That kinda pissed me off.  Also, I hardly got any foot massage.  I kept looking over at the girl next to me and being super jealous of her technician.  It looked like she was getting quite the treatment!  I'm paying the same $30 just like anyone else, I think I should get the same treatment.  After I left I could tell why it was so quick, the girl did a piss poor job.  The color itself was alright, but I still had some dry skin on my heels.

All in all, I probably won't be going back.  They rushed me through everything and didn't even do that good a of job.  I guess my search for a nail place continues.  *sigh*

My girlfriend and I went for a mani/pedi combo last Friday as kind of a pre-birthday-treat for me.  Nail-dot-com was one of the nicer quickie nail salons I've been to, but honestly, I don't think I'll go back.  The staff was friendly and welcoming the minute we walked in the door - we were offered beverages and told it would be just a minute before our chairs were ready.  The selection of polishes was great - I didn't see a lot of nearly-empty bottles or bottles that looked grungy and old.  They had a wide selection of traditional colors AND they had a nice selection of alternative/wild colors - I chose not to this time, but I like have pretty blue toenails now and again! :)
I'm pretty sure I got "the new girl" for my pedicure.  I certainly don't claim to be any kind of expert or nail-salon-pro, but in looking around at everyone else, it just seemed that her skills were not quite up to where the other technician's were.  I had to say something three times regarding the stabbing-pains happening in one of my toes before she changed whatever she was doing that was causing it (I honestly don't have any idea - she was working on my cuticles and it felt very much like I'd been cut badly, but there was no blood, so... ?).  She had some difficulty wrapping the hot towels around my legs/feet after the scrub - I'm not sure what that was all about - and my calf-massage consisted of two quick "thumps" on each side.  Still, the polish looks very pretty and thanks to the saran-wrap they put around my toesies when I left (I'm an idiot and forgot to wear flip-flops), I made it all the way home with perfect and smudge-free paint!
My fingernails, unfortunately, have not fared so well.  I'm not sure I made it 24 hours before I noticed the first chip - by Monday the polish was chipped or worn-looking on almost all ten fingers, and as of today (Tuesday) I think I'm just going to take the polish off when I get home from the office today..  They looked super-great on that first evening, tho.

I dunno - maybe it was a bad day? A fluke?  Maybe I'm too picky?  I don't get nail services done more than about, 3-4 times a year - so maybe I'll just save up a few extra bucks each time and go to a higher-end salon/spa and skip the cheapie nail places altogether - since I've never found one that actually works for me.

LOVE this place.

I have been coming here on the recommendation of the lovely Megan G. to get my eyebrows did for a few months and I finally experienced probably one of the best mani pedis I have had in a loooong time.

As I type this now my summer dark purple nails are hardly chipped from my mani 1 week ago and there is not a single smuge on any of my 10 shiny nails.

It's easy to tell this salon takes pride in offering the best service from an offer for a beverage in the beginning to a few massages along the way and just overall very friendly service. I highly recommend them for eyebrows as they do a detailed, thorough job and now I can't imagine a mani pedi from any place else. $40 may be on the pricier side than a few joints in the 'hood but the extra $10 is worth the excellent job they do.

Warning Mani Pedi $35 special Wednesday is packed crazy in the evening and it is always pretty busy in there so call ahead or plan on kicking back with a People magazine for a few minutes.

I went here last week with a friend who is a regular. We got the Wednesday mani/pedi special ($35 instead of $40). Overall I was very pleased with the service: the staff show amazing attention to detail--e.g. making sure you are seated next to your friend, hot towels, cleanliness, etc. The manicure and pedicure both turned out great and they did not rush us out at all despite being quite busy.

My only complaint is that my nail polish (manicure, not pedicure) started to chip within the first few days and I already had to change it out since I didn't have the same color at home to touch-up.

Love love love. There's a nail salon on every other block in my 'hood, but this one really stands out. Right from the start, Nail .com was WAY friendlier than the last place I went to. The owners were friendly and gracious, and the woman (I can't remember her name! Shame on me!) remembered my name from when I came in and made the appointment the night before. The space is bright, pretty, organized, very clean, and professional.

I'm a hairstylist, so after weeks of shampooing, blowdrying, and coloring, my nails and hands were JACKED. My manicurist was probably horrified, but she did a fan-effing-tastic job. Great attn to detail, so no bubbles, streaks, or smudges even though I chose a WHOA bright color with white french tips. Prices were beyond fair, given the great quality of the end result, and I noticed their Wednesday special was an amazing deal. Definitely coming back fo' sho :-). I seriously owe my roomie for referring me to this place.

This place was really as good as it gets!! This is by far the best manicure/ pedicure I have ever had...

No on can beat $35 on Wed for a mani pedi with this kind of treatment!: Massage chairs, scented water, sweet-as can be employees, bright beautiful surroundings, hot towels, exfoliation and massage up to your knees and elbows, back massage while you dry your nails, water or diet coke on the house, and did I mention how sweet the employees were??

I hadn't had a pedicure for YEARS and my feet were in sad sad shape... my pedicurist was incredible and didn't even make fun of/ make faces at how hard she had to work to make them look normal :)

I will definitely never need to try another place!

http://Nail.com is my new favorite nail salon!  It had been months since my last pedicure, so I was on the lookout for a new place to try.  After reading the glowing reviews of http://Nail.com, I tried it this morning.  Wow wow wow!  Although my expectations were high, based upon the reviews here on Yelp, I was even more pleased than expected.  Every little detail is right, from the cute decor to the friendly staff to the fantastic pedicure chairs.  I had both a manicure and a pedicure, which were great.  In addition to the great nail service, they provide fantastic "extras" like an extensive leg and foot massage with the pedicure, and arm/hand massage with the manicure.  These are 'real" massages, not wimpy rubbing.  Prices were reasonable, too.

Best of all, I felt very comfortable there.  You know how some nail salons are downright unfriendly?  Not http://nail.com!  I loved it, and I will go back.

I have never had such attentive service at a salon before! They pull out all the stops- full luxurious spa style treatment, great colors, complimentary beverage, quick massage, PLUS they wrap your toes before you leave so they don't smudge in their shoes.  Such sweet people working there, and they have a $35 mani-pedi special once a week where they still treat you like royalty.

oh they are sooo pretty.

From the moment of entering http://nail.com, only good things can be said. The hostess (perhaps the owner) immediately offers a beverage. They have a great selection of nail colors...and all the latest OPI collections. The lady who fixed my toes to look presentable in sandles, also gave a great calf massage. I was a goof and smudged one of my nails while under the dryer and they were very kind to fix it right up.

http://Nail.com definately goes above and beyond customer service. I'll be back and also suggest them to others.

Upon recommendations from fellow yelpers I tried http://nails.com. I have to warn you, I am a super super perfectionist when it comes to mani-pedis. My standards are waaaaay above most due to the fact that I can do a killer mani-pedi for myself. However, it is always nicer not to have to hunch over for an hour trying to do my own feet...

The staff is super friendly and courteous. When you arrive they offer you a refreshment, then onto the pedi massage chair.

The treatment starts with the usual pedi steps, once the massages start then it gets FUN. Scrub rub, then lotion rub, then hot towel wrap, then back to the usual pedi works.

The mani routine is about the same...I love the hot towel wrap.

Then while your nails dry, a nice little shoulder massage, off you go...

It all took about an hour and a half and $40 plus tip.

Why 4 stars: I like a deeper cuticle removal. I like the nail polish to be closer to the skin so that it lasts longer (my nails grow fast). Also the shape of the nails are too flat at the tip (so I said square, but a little more natural shape makes more sense). Lastly, it seemed like while at the pedi station two nail techs were sharing equipment cart, I was too busy enjoying to massage to really check out if they were sharing tools too, yuck, but I decided to have a good time instead of investigating.

The place is clean, nicely decorated. I'll definitely go back again.

I will preface by saying I've been coming here for a year now, I sort of found this place by accident and even though I live in Oak Park I will get a mani/pedi whenever I'm in the area visiting friends.  Most of my visits here have been good, but today I had a negative enough experience that I won't be coming back.  I called in the middle of the day to see if they could accomodate me and 2 of my friends, they said they could.  However after my pedicure, I was sitting next to my friend while she got her manicure, and finally after about 10 minutes I asked where my nail tech was.  The guy doing my friend's nails said she can't do manicures, only pedicures, and I would have to wait.  I ended up waiting about 25 minutes until I got another nail tech.  This made me run late so I didn't have time to get my nails dried.

Anyway the really irritating thing: I paid $40 for the mani/pedi, and usually tip $8, but today tipped $6.50 due to what happened.  The nail tech saw my tip, asked me twice if this was for both, and when I said yes, she gave me this dirty look and said ok fine.  She passed off the bill to another girl, and made a comment to her which I couldn't understand.  I got really uncomfortable at that point because I could sense her tension.  She sort of rushed the painting of my nails at the end, and literally 2 hours later one of my nails has already chipped.

Right before I left the owner asked me if everything was ok, I explained what happened to her, and she didn't say anything, so I just left.

Although I really appreciate a good job on my nails, I don't appreciate being made to feel like awkward or uncomfortable.  I would have at least expected an apology, not a dirty look and a rushed job with chipping nails for a couple of dollars.  The lateness/lack of communication about the wait really would have been ok, had it not been for that.  I'm really most disappointed because not only have I been coming here for a year, but I brought 2 friends today.  Never again, it's not worth it.

I have been going to this nail salon for several months now, and I absolutely love it.  The owners and staff are super friendly and professional - they always greet me by name when I come in, which is just so nice!  They give you a free drink during your service - always much appreciated.  Their manicures and pedicures are impeccable.  They pay such close attention to detail and are incredibly meticulous with the application of the nail polish, especially dark colors.  (I realized how appreciative I am of this last week when I had my nails done at a salon in San Francisco.  I watched with dismay as the technician slapped on the nail polish with all the precision of a 5-year-old who hadn't yet learned to color in the lines.  Awesome - note sarcasm.)

Oh, and the massages!  I know others have mentioned this, but it's just so nice to have an extra-long massage with vitamin E, oil and lotion.  Since the cold weather hit, they also give you a warm neck wrap when you arrive and use a paintbrush to apply some soothing paraffin to your fingers before beginning your massage.  They also always have candy to satisfy your munchies while you're there.

Food, drink AND great mani/pedi?  What more could you want?  Well, how about an awesome frequent visitor program?  They give you either 5 or 10% (can't remember which one) cash back on a rewards card, and you can renew it any time.  I've now gotten 2 free manis and a free pedi!  Sweet!

Great place! I do not live in this neighborhood, but went out of my way because of the Yelp reviews. I arrived on a Friday night at about 630pm and the place was packed! There were probably 10-12 women getting pedicures, even at that time.  A quality place.

The woman at the front (in her mid-30-40's?, probably the owner) was as sweet and helpful as could be. Her son went out of his way to be super helpful and friendly as well. They offered me water or soda upon entering, and she helped me pick a polish color when I asked a few questions.

The woman who did my nails was wonderful...I got  a Mani/Pedi. It looked like all the nail techs were very skilled and focused.  They also have massaging/vibrating  chairs, and be sure to use them...a great chair massage! She did a wonderful job on my nails, and the owner's son even offered to go out to put money in the meter for me (the money was running out) while I was getting my nails done! Also, they will even wrap your toes in plastic wrap if you need to wear your regular shoes home and want to protect them.  The Mani/Pedi is $40.

My Mani/Pedi really looks great, she did a wonderful job. My only minor complaint is that there was some dry skin on my heels still. Also, I can't say enough about the owner...she was just wonderful. I will definitely be back! I feel like I can always count on them to do a great job.

I've found my new nail place! In addition to being super clean and sanitary the owners and staff go out of their way to pamper and take care of you. You are offered a free Coke or water, treated very attentively and of course they do a great mani/pedi. One of the best parts is that the pedicure chair gives an awesome massage. Throw in all the US magazines you can peruse and a Starbucks nearby and you have a dream come true in a nail place.

I've NEVER gotten a mani or pedi here that I didn't like.  Staff is meticulous and very friendly.  Sometimes you have to wait if it gets crowded and you don't have an appointment, but I can assure you it is worth the wait.

I chose this place after the rave reviews, and it did stand up to the positive mentions. The staff is super-welcoming, accomodating, and professional. As a SAHM, I brought my 6-month old with me for a Wednesday special. The owner met me at the door and helped me with the stroller, gave me color suggestions, and proceeded to quietly flirt with and entertain my son (as did the nail techs who were unoccupied) as I melted into the massage chair. The nail techs said not a word to me or each other, allowing me to fully relax and enjoy their great work. I wonder if they have parrafin dips for my dry feet? I'll have to ask... I had such a great experience that I brought my MIL the next weekend for a birthday treat. Way to go, http://Nail.com!

Having gone to http://Nail.com for the past six weeks, I must share this fabulous spot with others.  As a manicure/pedicure fiend, I have gone to dozens of nail shops throughout the city searching for the "perfect" spot.  This is it.
When you enter this brightly- coloured chic storefront, a host/hostess warmly greets you.  You are offered complimentary beverages and a seat in the small waiting area.  OPI and Essie colours dominate the extensive nail polish selection.
Pedicure stations have red soaking tubs, top-of-the-line massage chairs and attached trays for your beverage and magazine. You select your bath fizz and then sit back and relax.  I have had different nail technicians and they are all consistent.
Attention is paid to every nail and cuticle with the manicures also.  High quality lotions and oils are massaged on your hands and forearms.  Once at the drying station, the technician delivers a stimulating massage.
http://Nail.com has a friendly, competent staff, beautiful interior and does exemplary work.  It does not get better than this.

This place is awesome. I know I'm not adding much to the current 5-star reviews but if this review helps someone who is on the fence decide to go here, then I've done my duty of paying it forward. I got a mani and pedi here a while ago--was waiting to see how long it lasted until i wrote a review--and it was totally awesome. The pedi lasted for ages. The mani not so much but it did last almost a week so I can't complain. The technicians are also no nonsense and won't resort to mindless chitter chatter BS when all you want is to get a mani/pedi in peace and quiet. The sweet older lady also comes over to inspect the work while you're at the drying station and if something isn't to her liking, she'll make the tech come back over to fix it.
Overall it's a great price in a cute and clean place. I will definitely be coming back. Although the lack of a Web site with the name http://nail.com is a bit strange. Just sayin'.

The best mani and pedi in the city!

Great prices - and make sure to ask for your frequent visitor card - it accumulates every time you get any nail services done, and then boom, free mani! Who doesn't love a free mani?

The place is always immaculate and clean. I mean your tools are taken out of the UV sterilizer in front of you!  All the polishes are in a pretty row - making choosing a color actually an enjoyable experience instead of having to look all over for your favorite color. They use a vitamin e capsule and warm lotion on your cuticles in the winter, a killer hand/lower arm massage finished with wrapping it all up in a warm towel. As mentioned in other reviews - while you are waiting for your nails to dry you get about a 3 minute massage - its awesome, and I am always so sad when its over.

Overall its a great experience - luxury at a discount!

I just love this place.  The owner (Nikki) and her staff are great.  A few times when my nails were still drying her husband went out and fed the meter (or shall I say annoying box) for me.  The color selection is fantastic and the polishes are all organized and numbered.  I have to give a shout out to Daisy because she is fantastic.  Jenny and Oogi too.  Highly, highly recommend this place.  Book an appointment because the word is out!

Can't believe I forgot to review this place. My bad! I've been coming to this location for a few months now and absolutely love it.

As soon as you walk in and select your color you are asked if you want anything to drink. They have a tiny fridge with bottled water, soda, teas and juice.

If you are getting a pedi the next step is to select your fragrance tablet. lavender, peppermint or green apple. I always choose peppermint...so invigorating!

Now you sit back in your massaging chair and just relax while they do all the work. They finish off your pedi with a happy ending. Get your minds out of the gutters folks...I'm talking a calf and foot massage that could possibly put my husband to shame...he's a massage therapist.

Manicure is next and they have a cute little shell for you to put all your rings and bracelets in while you are getting your mani and yep...the best arm, wrist and hand massage. I feel like jelly when I leave this place.

The staff is so sweet and I love the owner. She is very hands on and always checks up to see how everyone is doing and to see if you need anything.

Color choices are a plenty. They have everything from the modest and demure pinks to the rocked out inky blues and Gothic blacks.

Here's a tip...Wednesday is the $35 mani and pedi special. Go early though because that is usually the day I go and it gets crowded super fast!

I discovered this little nail oasis in Chicago last summer on Yelp, and I haven't gone to another nail place in the city since! This place ROCKS for a mani/pedi!!! (Especially on Wednesdays, $35 special for both). I've been to this one on Clark, and also their location on Halsted and both do a great job and have sweet employees!
They offer you a beverage right when you arrive, a nice touch on an especially hot Chicago day, such as today. You pick your polish and then sit back in one of those big, comfy, massage/heat chairs for the pedi. They also give you a back rub while your nails are drying. It couldn't get any more relaxing! Another big plus is that both locations are always CLEAN! I watch every time I'm there, and the nail technicians are very meticulous about cleaning the tubs after every customer and sterilizing the tools. For a germ-freak like me, that's what I call peace of mind.
I love bringing my out of town friends here too, and they all get jealous that I have such an awesome nail place so close to my apartment. For the price, you won't get a better deal (or experience) anywhere in the neighborhood!!

I was in town for a wedding and found this place thanks to Yelp. It was really lovely. I got a beautiful french manicure and a very nice pedicure. The staff was courteous and helpful, making sure the experience was entirely relaxing. I wish it was in my city so that I could go back on a regular basis.
